** Random Update & Apology **

A few of you may have notice my lack of participation and online time lately. So first let me apologize for that and thank my lovely VIC for picking up the slack. *huggles*

I have been putting off this post because I didn't want to worry anyone and because I didn't have any definite answers to give on the issues I'll be getting into. But I also realized that avoiding it will probably only make some of you worry more or begin to wonder if I was pulling another disappearing act.

I have been avoiding my computer for several days due to eyesight issues.. in fact I've only been online maybe a half-hour and already my eyes hurt. I've had to raise the font sizes on my web browser and computer in general just to be able to read the posts.. (which is why it's been hard for me to respond to other's posts lately... can barely read them..)

Now the eyesight issues are only part of my problem lately.. the main issue has been going on for over a month now.. and as simple and stupid as it will sound it was just that I was really.. and I mean REALLY thirtsy.. So at first I thought I was just dehydrated.. starting going through 2-3 gallons of water a day and going to the bathroom every 20 minutes.. which eventually proved I was not dehydrated.. but the thirst never got better.. eventually I started doing research and realized that there was a very good chance I was diabetic...

It runs in my dad's side of the family and though I know it's treatable I felt that it was some sort of death sentence.. once you've got it it never goes away.. and it scared the tar out of me but I was handling it fairly well.. talked to friends and family that were either doctors or nurses and got all the advice I could on how I could treat it until I could get in to see a doctor.. I have no health insurance.. so this means getting in to the free clinic.. I went three weeks in a row for eligibility screenings.. because I was always missing some important document they needed *sigh* Last week I thought I was done only for them to send me a post card telling me they need more info (my tax forms which I don't have because I haven't worked in the last year so I didn't file) Well I got that sorted out yesterday.. but now I have to wait to hear if I'm approved.

And two nights ago I got a call from my cousin who is a nurse.. and I know she was just worried and concerned for me.. but she started just listing off all of these worst case scenario type scare tactics and unintentionally telling me I could drop dead at any moment or end up with kidney failure or full organ shut down.. needless to say I ended up bawling like a baby and freaking out. Thankfully I had other friends and family talk me down and yesterday I went to buy a blood glucose tester to see if I really needed to be freaking out.. My numbers aren't great.. but they aren't freak-out worthy.. as long as I watch what I eat and drink I should be fine until I can get into see a doctor..

Unfortunately my eyes still hurt and I'm still dying of thirst.. so my online time will still be limited.. so I won't be able to respond to much.. but if you send me PM's I'll try to at least check those on a regular basis.. and Kiara of course will do all that she can in regards to here in the guild.. I am going to do my best to at least be around to participate in the St. Patty's day fun.

(and I'll have to go check announcements and some point to find out what this b.s. about Gambino getting killed off is all about) I miss you guys.. and don't worry too much about me okay? If anything really bad happens I'll make sure Noch or Kiara let you all know. Again.. I love and miss you all.. *hugs*
