Akira signed in relief and smiled at the Fury.
"Oh good...Thanks for that, Ever. I really needed to hear that!"
Then, the Demonic teenager listened intensely to the Fury's every word. When she was done, Akira just gaped at her.
"Well...Whoa. That's...A war huh? Grreeaatt. And your being forced to help even more now against your will...That does seriously suck, but at least your mothers can't hurt or order you around anymore!! Not to mention, now that i know it's a relic, i can narrow down my searches big time!" she replied, still somewhat shocked, and gently touched Evermore's bandaged cheek, frowning.
"I was gonna ask about these wounds...I really wish i could of been there...i would of told them a thing or two about hurting my best friend!! Though they'd probably kick my a**...But it would of been so worth it!"
The incest...That was definitely something else...And Evermore had kissed their son!? Oh boy...Talk about a crazy day...
Akira just shook her head and grinned.
"Ok, i promise i will help you out as much as i can with all this, especially the keeping you sane part! And to start...Take off the bandages, i got a surprise i need to show you!

Ares sighed dejectedly when Evermore just left. He was upset and slightly disappointed, to be fully honest. He hated that she'd left after yelling at him--that was never a good way to leave things off, as he'd found--but at the same time...
He hoped that she would be able to figure this out with her friend. He hated to admit it, but this was probably really ******** confusing for the young Fury. She hadn't had nearly as much experience in anything as he'd had. It was bound to be frustrating and he just... He just made it worse.
Not that he was going to stop doing what he was doing. He was of the opinion that if he continued, something would figure itself out and everything would be okay. It would actually probably get even worse if he just suddenly stopped.
Though he'd really appreciate it if she didn't make out with any of his other kids.

Most guys just stop trying for fear they'll make the situation worse, when in fact, them stopping DOES make it worse, like they've just stopped caring! Very cool post!}}
Ever smiled brightly at her best friend. She felt so good now that she knew what was going on, too! It would be so nice just to be able to lean on her again and get support from her.
She leaned her head into Akira's hand when she gently touched her bandaged cheek, but when she mentioned she had a surprise, Ever quickly jumped up and smiled brightly.
"Oh, awesome! I could really use a surprise right now! A GOOD one! And I know you would have given those Furies the regular one-two punch! I would have paid to see that!"
As she followed Akira, Ever started to carefully take off her bandages.

Akira giggled, imagining herself kicking those old hag's a**' to kingdom come!
"Right! Of course your always suppose to get along with your best friend's parents...But when they're being that harsh, they need to be taught a lesson!" she teased, focusing on her left hand until her claws started glowing a soft light blue.
"Well, it's not amazing, but it'll help. Just close your eyes and relax, ok?" She stood up and eased the Fury back into her seat, smiling reassuringly.

Ever giggled softly and sat back down. "Oh, ok. I thought we had to go somewhere. Sorry!"
Ever laughed again but closed her eyes and tried to relax. "By the way, that claw thing is freaking awesome. I would love some glowing blue nails!... er, I guess yours are claws. But they're still cool!"
Yes, she said all of this with her eyes closed.

Akira laughed and stared at her glowing claws in awe.
"Yup, i agree, it is awesome...It's ok and yup, they're claws for me! I can also make them glow yellow and red if i use my own blood. Part of my Demonic nature i suppose! Sensei taught me all this recently, but i've been so focused on my wind element because this comes so easily to me, ya know? Now, don't freak out, ok?" the Demonic teenager said, before quickly slashing at the Fury's face, right where the wound is.
Five glowing blue strikes appeared on Evermore's face, but instead of searing pain, a cooling, wonderful feeling was felt as her wound faded, as did the blue scratches. Evermore's wound was completely gone and healed in seconds.
"How does that feel now? The moves called healing claws! You can open your eyes now!" she said with a smile.

Ari sighed as his lips met hers. Anything she was going to say was lost in the general haze that filtered through her mind. This was quite lovely...
Her hand hesitantly trailed up his arm, and then came to rest around his neck. Her other hand followed suit, except it came to rest intertwined gently with his hair. Her lips smiled against his.

Ever gasped as she felt Akira's hand move quickly toward her cheek and make a slashing movement. She tensed herself, expecting to feel more pain, but instead, she felt a wonderfully-cool sensation against her cheek. She sighed in absolute bliss and rested more against the chair.
When Akira said she was done and that she could open her eyes, Ever did so and looked up at Akira with question in her eyes. She slowly reached one of her hands up and felt along her cheek. She gasped and her eyes went wide when she felt nothing there, not even scars!
Ever gasped, stood up, and threw her arms around Akira in a fierce hug. "Oh my gosh, thank you! How did you do that?!"

Akira grinned and hugged back tightly. She admitted to herself that it had felt odd, slashing at her best friend like that, but not inflicting pain...it was a move she didn't even completely understand herself...Maybe the room had the answer?
"I take it you like it?" the Demonic teenager giggled, before saying, "Your very welcome and I'll show you. That's why i left your arm alone. I just wanted to get your cheek 1st. I'd hate to see scars on your face! Or a bandage for that matter...But your gonna have to let me go 1st!" she teased, her tail wagging.

Ever laughed again and finally pulled back from her friend. She held out both of her forearms to Akira with a bright smile on her face.
"Thank you so much again for this, Akira."

"Don't mention it! It's the least i can do for you...But do me a favor and hear me out about the room, kay? I could seriously use your help in there...But you know, you actually don't have to research the relic if you don't want too because that room is filled with so much knowledge about everything and anything that it's freaken awesome!!"
Akira then gasped; why had she thought of this sooner!?
"I think the room m-might even be able to t-tell me about my real parents...!!!" she exclaimed excitedly, then shook her head.
"Ok, wounds 1st, then talk about room." with that said, she calmed down, focused on her claws once again, and striked at both forearms accurately, the blue claw marks visible once again and the sweet sensation pulsing though her them vividly.
She stretched and explained as her claws returned to normal, "Only downside to this is that it takes energy...Like, let's say you've got a really nasty, life theatering wound, it would take chunks of my energy to heal, not fun at all, but eh, i can manage! After all, it's a small price to pay to save your life, right?"

Ever's eyes were wide as she listened to all that Akira had to say. Wow. Which to respond to first? And she loved getting to actually see Akira's healing power this time. The blue looked so cool on her arms! That would be an awesome Halloween trick!
She shook her head then. Time to get back on track. "Thank you so much, Akira. For everything, including healing me. Using so much energy to do so is very sweet of you. Thank you."
Ever sat back down at her chair and gestured for Akira to do the same. Ever was smiling, a genuine relaxed smile. She hadn't smiled like that in awhile. And she was still smiling like that even though the Room was mentioned!
Ever put her hands on the table and clasped them loosely. "I did not know that the Room contained information in there about more than just the Relic. Or, if I was told that by the Headmistress, then I must have forgotten it with all that's been going on. That does sound pretty interesting, then. I'm not actually a hardcore studier, but learning about different things that I want to know more about sounds pretty cool."
She then smiled brightly. "And of COURSE I'll come to it while you look for your birth parents! I'll help you look! That's the least I can do. After all, you're my best friend!"
Ever stood up from her chair and waited for Akira to do the same. They needed to be in their rooms soon. Curfew was approaching quickly. The cooks were already shutting things down in the cafe.
"Would you like to go there after Familiars 101 tomorrow?"
Before Akira could respond, Ever smiled thankfully at her best friend. "And Akira? Thank you. For the first time, I feel like someone wants me to go to the Room simply to be there with them. I'm sorry I just abandoned you. That really wasn't cool of me. The only reason I have is that it felt as if everyone wanted me in the Room for their own agenda. They just wanted to use me for their own gain. But not you. You want me there because we started this together, and you want to see it through with me there beside you. I really appreciate that."
