Kurai peeked at Kai through her fingers, faintly smiling. She knew it, she knew what Kai had just said but Kurai didn't, couldn't take the advice. She didn't think she could do it. The corners of her eyes were slightly wet, dabbing at it with the edge of Kai's shirt's sleeve. Kurai sighed, staring at Kai. "Sorry." This was the first thing she had to set straight. If sometime in the near future, Kurai wanted to attempt solve her problems, she wanted to start with the easy part of life. She had to admit, Kurai was strong but was a coward. She cowered before anything that doesn't have to do anything with the battlefield. "I... I used you." Kurai paused, thinking over her words. "I used you." She covered her eyes with her hands for only a moment. Was she desperate enough to manipulate people and objects? Is this what lead to her decision? Perhaps subconsciously, but Kurai knew the facts. She was too used to using people. No matter how hard she tried, she always pushed someone off the cliff before even looking what lay ahead. No one really mattered to Kurai. She just had to get through whatever problem faced her. "I used you," She repeated. Apologies were definitely not her thing. "Even after all you did, I was selfish enough to use you." After a short string of profanities against herself, Kurai sat up to face Kai. Today was going to be a hard day.
Akane watched the two. They seemed rather close to each other but it didn't look like they knew each other for long. Although Kai was a player and hit on whoever he pleased, he had common sense. He was human enough to help a fellow member out. Akane's gaze scanned the floor, almost embarrassed by watching the two. She loved drama sure, but it was hard for her to watch. Even something as simple as a close friendship. A thought then occurred to Akane. Kai didn't hit on Kurai, did he? Nothing flirtatious in his words. It was strange. All Akane knew of Kai was 'hit on her, hit on him' but first impressions weren't everything, right?
Quietly, Akane walked over to stand beside Awai. Awai was very considerate with her early comment, trying to loosen the atmosphere. Akane would pay attention to that. "So, who'd you get?" Her emerald gems glittered with curiosity.

Kai didn't quite know how to answer that. He could go on a rant of how he didn't care, as long as he was used with a smidgen of respect. Honestly, if he could help any one in any way, he didn't mind. As long as he helped, he was fine with it. He didn't care what he helped, but if the person found what they needed right that second in using Kai, then fine. He'd allow it.
Maybe ... that sounded bad? Should someone mind that? Then again, Kai didn't really have boundaries. Most had a bible. Kai had... well, he chose not to have a bible. He wasn't sure what he had, but it wasn't no bible.
He lolled his head slightly, meaning to be a shrug. "Then use me. That," his eyes shot towards the door and back, "made sense, though. ... I don't really mind if I'm used by someone. It just better be someone I freakin' like, and that by using me, I helped them in a way."

There was one thing Kurai really, really liked about Kai. He got straight to the point. He didn't whack around the bush, or better known as hit around the target. Bam. Her answer was there. Was it really like that? People were glad to be used if it someone they cared about using them? If so, Kurai wasn't like them. She didn't like to be used but liked to be the user. A real comforter Kai was. She smiled and put her forehead on his shoulder. Kurai shook her head, quietly whispering, "I think I screwed it up more."

"Honestly, both of you screwed up quite equally... but I guess... maybe it made sense on both parts. Though, I can't really understand it, can I?" He wasn't so much as asking Kurai, as asking himself. A tainted smile made its way onto his lips. Gently, he wrapped his arm lightly around her back, up near her shoulder-blades and actual shoulders; around the waist would've been too intimate.
"You're too hard on yourself all the time. Both of you have your reasons. ... But think of the reasons you have that're the same. Makes things easier n' clearer." He attempted to look down at her face, but it proved to be pointless. He grinned anyways.

Kurai nodded, her head still on his shoulder. "I should go." It wasn't a question at all. Kai thought it was what needed to be done and now she was slowly inching towards doing it to. Now her mind was set, Kurai needed to act before she thought of some more crazy reasons to not go see Sasori and fix whatever the hell just hit her. Pulling her head up, Kurai smiled. "Thanks, counselor." She feigned laughter and pulled away from Kai. Her legs swung before leaping and landing behind the be, actually away from the door. As of right now, since Kurai felt all fuzzy it'd be hard to find chakras but she did enough of dragging people in. This time, she'd do it on her own. Kurai walked slowly, eyes glued on to the door. Once her hand was on the doorknob, Kurai turned around and smiled once more at Kai. "Wish me luck." 'I'm gonna need it.'
Really, this was turning out to be some sappy replay of a movie Akane saw the other night. "Luck!" She hollered, even though Akane wasn't very far from her at all. She had cupped her hands around her mouth to make it even louder. Akane grinned and waved in a larger motion than usual. Movies really were true, huh?

"Yes, Counselor Kai. Nice ring, noooo?" Kai had taken to slightly to talking to himself... for a bit... maybe. Hm. He returned the, probably, forced smile Kurai gave him. Wishing doesn't do much, but... it's for Kurai-chan, so I think I can bear with her for a few words. He held his hand out, open palmed.
"There's yer invisible puff of luck. Don't spend it all in one place." Usually his voice would have more of a joking tone to it, but somehow, that time, regardless of the words, he spoke almost seriously. He grinned yet again as his hand dropped and he leaned his head again the bed. "... G'luck."

Awai whispered to Akane, "It's Daisuke" she took a quick glance at him and back, "He seem's nice" still whispering. She made a small wave and smiled to Kurai for luck.

Kurai's hand grabbed through the air and shoved some of the invisible luck in her pocket. She turned the knob ever so slowly and stepped into the hallway and whatever awaited her there. Kurai frowned, her eyes gliding from side to side. Her senses were still fuzzy and as of then, Kurai had no clue which way to turn.
"Left," Akane called out after Kurai. No one did well after injuries so she figured she'd help out a bit. "Red head went left." She pointed towards the left with her index finger. "That way." His chakra wasn't very far. But then again, far was extremely far in Akane terms.
Kurai gave a small wave of thanks to Akane and shut the door behind her. Turning left, Kurai started on her quest to set things straight. Really... how much worse could things get? She had heard before that once you hit the bottom you aren't going anywhere but up right? Well, Kurai had her fingers crossed that the saying was right.
[[I fall for those foggy colored eyes. you know, it's sort of like a misty blue or a misty green. My friend has eyes like those and then he still has some yellow spots on his eyes. Real cute. xD P.S- Daisuke is irresistible. He has joined my little club consisting of Itachi, Sasori, Deidara, and Kai. ;D]]

I don't know what kind of eyes I like... usually just bright ones, but no one seems to have those. My eyes used to be bright-ish blue, but they keep getting darker and darker ... and now I dunno what color they are, because they change every so often now. xD So confusing. ;C ]]

Ah... the chakra he now knew was hers... it was getting closer. Why? Maybe he should've kept walking... Wait, no! That just meant he was being a coward! Come on, Sasori, get ahold of yourself! ... But what good would that be? There's no telling what she's going to do to him.
But why should she get mad? ... What did Sasori even do? ... What did she do? ... Did anyone even do anything? . . . Not that he knew of. Why was this so confusing?
He was still just leaning against the same wall, though feeling little fatigue, he stood there anyways. He'd wait there. Maybe she was planning on walking by him with no interaction at all.

I have bright eyes, dark eyes, sparkly eyes. You name it I have it. xD I haven't really met anyone else like me. ;3]]
Kurai spotted a figure, leaning against a wall. She hadn't walked very far really. Kurai was walking down the same hall from Zetsu's room, not turning once. She stopped right next to him, not trying to make any eye contact. Kurai crouched next to him and looked up at the ceiling. Today was a long day. Maybe too long for her own liking. Then, she looked down and began picking at some invisible lint on Kai's shirt with her right and while keeping her left tucked into a pocket containing the invisible luck. Kurai needed to act face, she wasn't going to wait for him to make the first move. Again. "Hey." Well, it was a start.
"Well, folks, the next showing of drama is no time soon." Akane looked over from Daisuke and waved him over towards Awai-chan. Cute guy, cute guy. Then again, a lot of the Akatsuki members were cute. "You're Daisuke. Well I'm Akane." She didn't even question name, just stated it. Awai had looked at him after she whispered the name 'Daisuke.' "Awai-chan is the pretty girl right over here." Akane waved her hands towards Awai, almost displaying her like one of those chics on game shows. Good to get introductions over with right?
[[Well... you're characters always kick, so I think I'm safe to assume. :]

So, she chose interaction... Weird, she was. Sasori looked down at her from the corner of his eye.
"Hello." ... Two letters longer; it was a start, right? He tried to speak less coldly, and it worked somewhat. Then again, his voice had never really been warm. Especially not recently, he could say that much.
"You've come to... do what, exactly? ... Do you hate me now?" In those words, he reminded himself of a child. Children, if they felt that they'd done something wrong, they always asked the same thing. 'Do you hate me?' It was always the same thing, but children never knew what the answer would be. Sasori assumed it'd be a 'yes.'
