"Now when was the last time I drugged you with cinnamon."
smirking at her and taping her nose, and getting up, taking her with him.
"and since you've had such a recent traumatic experience, and a partial soul displacement, we're putting in the pregnancy rule. you need to get a nice, full meal to help regain your strength, and no arguing."
Walking her downstairs, and puling out her seat for her.
"so get what you want but your not getting away with bird portions this time."

"Well, I guess that decides how the day starts now doesn't it?" Shaking his head and slightly amused as she attempted to clean up a little before he got up with the child and headed for the bathroom. Hey, he was always up for such things....made that cleaning impulse happy as could be.
He rolled his eyes at his friend. "Oh so that's how you measure up who's good for you and who's good for me is it? I suppose it's fair enough. I don't want your wild racer girls anyway. You can have them all to yourselves."
"Sounds like the normal parents and married couple to me." Taking on that thinking look before turning bright red eyes back to her. "I dunno, they never told me that. All I know is that it apparently didn't take too long and I was born quite early in their relationship."
"I don't recall by why take the chance." Giving one of those melodic laughs of hers as he got her out of bed quite literally and proceeded to be the mode of transportation downstairs. "The pregnancy rule hm? I suppose we can label those happenings under there without too much fuss and fight over such things. Alright, I'll be good and no fighting on it." Settling into her chair with another laugh. "Well then, bring on panccakes, bacon, and hashbrowns and fill up the plate. I'll eat just for you to make you less worrisome."

"alright, pancakes, hashbrowns, bacon. and I'll give you some cinnamon butter since your being agreeable with eating a full meal this time."
a slight grin setting her plate down for her and taking a seat with his usual wineglass.
"I've also given our oldest the daunting task of convincing that girl he likes to come to andal with us. Think it'll happen?"

"Always a good day in the Inthara household." Plopping a kiss on his cheek, she watched him take their son off and took the tray downstairs, poking her head into the library to see if her daughter was alright. Seeing her talking to Mykorian, she bowed quietly back out and headed back upstairs to wait for her husband and son to finish in the tub.
He was quite happily splashing about in the tub, sitting across from his father and lathering bubbles in his hair. Always amused by bubbles and bathtime, he reached out for the washcloth and tossed it, listening to it splat against his father's chest. "Daddy. Wash ears!" Not his of course but Daddy hadn't washed his yet and Mama liked them nice and clean.
"Yeah yeah, you just need someone that you can go nice and slow because you can't handle the speed." Chuckling and leaning back in his chair as class commenced. "Just don't scare her off. She's...timid."
"Yup. They're pretty average I guess. Just had a crazy first couple of months together. It wasn't until my dad had to teach my mom runes that they started to like each other." It was still pretty amazing to her that a drow and surface elf were together like that and she shook her head. "They must have really loved each other. My brother pulled my parents together, I guess. He was born and my parents bonded over taking care of him. They got married when he was three and then I came along shortly after."

"Aw, ain't that sweet." Rolling her eyes at him but in that loving way. As he sat down with his early morning wine, she took to her food without complaint and actually seemed to be enjoying eating more than like a bird today. She should too, seeing as all the draining of her person lately. "Asking her to Andal? You think she's going to go for that? She's drow after all. No problem to bring her but she may not like the surface. Which I think is something Khai is going to have to learn the hard way...while he likes the surface, not many others he's going to meet down here do. But I think a little faith in such a thing isn't a bad thing. He'll need some pep talk otherwise. Which is your department."
He helped the little boy wash, getitng his hair and the like for him before dealing with himself as well. A little shake of his head at his son though and he took the soaped up washcloth, washing his own ears. "No worries, everything on both of us will get clean." Didn't take him long to get himself and the toddler bathed, dried, and redressed in clean clothes. Which was much much better in his opinion. No more ick mess....he couldn't stand it right now anyway. A look and smile to Zahara. "And see, we're all clean and what not now. At least Kel enjoys getting a bath."
"Sometimes speed isn't the best thing. I like to savor things, thanks very much. And I won't scare her off...I doubt she's more timid than me. But while I'm in Deepwater, I'll put in your race fees for the next few things."
"I guess they did, they always seemed to act like they did anyway." Shrugging lightly again, he didn't like talking about his parents for too long, seeing as it only made him miss them more. "You like having siblings?"

"I had to give a pep talk to get him to get the courage to even think to attempt it. Sometimes I wonder if he isn't too cautious about that particular subject. and it's possible she might, and I can always exercise a little influence if she wants to go but there are parental issues."
taking a drink of his wine and watching her eat.
"See, now if you would eat like this all the time, I wouldn't pester you about it so much. it's good for you."

"How can he be too cautious about it? He's just a child and girls are scary at that age anyway." Rolling her eyes at him with a smile between bites. "You and your influence. Don't make the girl go if she doesn't want to go, she'll probably have an allergy attack." Pausing to take a drink, "It's ranger instinct to not eat a lot. We have to be fast."

"Being fast and starving yourself are two different things. and the influence I was referring to was getting her parents to let her go if she wanted to. and by too cautious I mean he won't approach the girl at all without cajoling or someone arranging it like Zykariel. Must be too concerned about her friends or something."
Leaning back a bit.
"and how would you know if girls were scary at that age? were you hitting on girls to keep up you 'I'm a boy' facade?"

"I'm not starving myself. I never have. Point is as a ranger, adn once upon a time theif, you have to keep your weight down to help those stealth and agility needs." Shrugging nonchalantly at him and eating another bite with a giggle of some sorts. "And I know you were...which you should be careful about. And it's perfectly understandable that he needs a little help. You sound surprised your son isn't as ready to go after girls as perhaps you were even if the cards are stacked in his favor as far as looks and the like go." Giving him a grin then. "And for your information, yes I was. When you get integrated into a group of them on occassion then you have to learn to blend."

"Yes, he does." Smiling fondly at the little one who was quite happily squeaky clean and settled in his father's arms. She didn't know quite how to approach the subject but thought it would be better to let him know. "Faate's with Mykorian. She's talking to him."
"Yeah, yeah. But trust me, the speed can be savored as well." He nodded, not really paying attention to the instructor since he was reviewing what they'd done last time anyway. "Good. Just don't commit me to too many races yet. I have to figure out this deal with my father first. I'll race the next three that we've already decided on but after that, we'll see."
Catching the change of subject, she curled her feet up beneath her and shrugged. "Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. It's annoying to have to share everything and Lyssie always wants to be with me and do what I do but I like knowing that I have them too. If I need help on something, I don't have to ask my parents. I guess it's what I'm used to." Shaking her head. "Would you rather have them?"

Slow raise of an eyebrow at that piece of information as it was handed over in that slow processing trying to tell you gently way. "Long as they're not doing anything that will make me want to strangle him." Putting aside that the kid was half surface elf. "Suppose it's a good thing that she's at least talking."
"Right, you know I never sign you up for more than what you want anyway. That would just burn out you and Destyny and we can't have that at all. We'd both lose money and you'd lose girls and whatever it is that comes along with your winning fame."
He shrugged lightly. "Well, I wouldn't be lonely if I had them, that's for sure. But I suppose it's best because it's hard enough to take care of myself sometimes and I wouldn't want my siblings to suffer because I couldn't take care of them and myself."

"Is that so? how far did you ever get? any elf on human girl on girl awkward moments?"
wiggling his eyebrows a bit and chuckling.

Piper rolled her eyes and flicked a forkful of hashbrowns at him. "No. Nothing of the sorts ever happened. I would hope that you wouldn't care for such thoughts in your head." Shaking her head and finishing up her breakfast. "Hardly a surprise more than a survival tactic."

A smirk at being plopped with hash browns, and picking up some leftover and tossing it back at her.
"guys like those thoughts. two for one women is usually a nice thing for a guy. and a survival tactic it might be, but it's one you don't need anymore, thus you shouldn't adhere to it."
poking her chest with his finger.
"you're a lady now, not a thief."

"Yes but you dislike humans. And frankly...well you're just not going to get me to go there. I'm more than happy with you and I don't need someone else to play around with." Shaking her head and brushing off thrown back potatoes, before looking down at his poking finger and then a smirk back up at him. "But still a ranger."
