Yes. I miss the days of early morning combat leading into mid day RPing, and late night combat all the way too early morning combat again...ahh, to be young again.

It could work now, except that I've fallen out of practice more than before even in way of just bumping into people, either being busy with a plotline myself and not wanting a character in too many places at once, or because everyone else was busy with plot stuffs.
I need to start working out long term details now that I've gotten preperations for immediate things done.

Aye, thus my comment about youth. When we and our characters are young, we are without concepts like storyline flow, and long term RP, or RP plot...not entirely without the later, more we only direct our own plot not intermingly and intertwining with other characters, except maybe one or two.
Its the freedom, freedom without work, freedom of character. I remember daily marching Maximos into the arena, and offering a humble challenge to the first person I saw.
Ahh....Nostalgia...

Yeah.... I never quite could do anything without figuring out why the character would first, but it used to be easier.
Today, even with everyone together in a guild like this, it feels like everyone's pulled off into clicks or something. The older characters just keep around each other because they've lost interest in anything not big on the plot end, and so the rest of us... well, I'unno. I'm waiting for a post in two places before I go on, but I feel like one of them is just wanting to tie something up, the other has nothing.
I don't mind the story, plot, and characters I'm involved with now, but getting a serious involvement or at least a temporary interaction with someone would be nice.
I'm thinking I'll need to throw together some sort of thread within the guild before too long in attempt to get people to hop in and do something.
Then again, random interaction until I stop talking and start doing would be nice... xp

I haven't had a main character since... it got suck in a slow-moving RP that still hasn't ended, but hasn't moved in almost 2 years.

And I suppose my days of RPing are over. Well, maybe I'm going to realize a plot I've worked on for quite some time and which has been put off due to private issues - and then retire or something. Send Lucind to live on that new continent I created.
Not sure yet, though^^

I have an odd request for anyone who runs Windows XP.
My SHELL32.dll is corrupt, meaning that a good portion of my icons show up as generic file types. It's purely cosmetic, but incredibly annoying. The real problem is that it's a system file, and I don't want to recover / reinstalll my computer. I have WAY too much stuff.
If someone could copy and send me their SHELL32.dll, I could put it on a CD and overwrite it in DOS. If this doesn't work, then I'll have to give another computer full administrative control over mine so they can replace it.
Obviously, not something I want to do. mad
