Anyone have any suggestions for dealing with lower back pain? I can't even sit upright right now D;

Really it depends on if it's bone or muscle pain... best bet ideas tho:

cycle between hot and cold compress' (or heating pads) every 15-20 min.

or hot showers or baths to soak in...

muscle relaxers always help if you're lucky enough to have any lol.. umm or any friends that owe you a favor.. can you say back massage?

lol I dunno.. I went off to try and make another v-day avi.. and came away making a fairy.. (so I finally did the green one.. just a lil late lol)

I've tried heating pads and hot baths, neither helped. I also have prescription muscle relaxants and pain killers.

None of the above are touching this D;

Daypaw: I'd say a trip to the chiropractor is probably next. The only other thing I might suggest is lying down with a hot water bottle on your lower back (or under you, if you prefer to lie on your back). Sometimes, because we do so much sitting nowadays, the vertebrae can become sort of impacted, and a change of position can help.

If you're going to a doctor it might be better to see an orthopedist rather than a chiropractor.

Oo, a fae theme! Count me in! I'm fond of my current outfit so I didn't do a big change. xd

@Daypaw: What's the name of the item you have as you wings? I haven't seen anything like that so I'm curious. smile

I'm just quickly stopping by to see what's happening in here. I'm sore and tired after clearing my yard about an hour today. We had about 15cm (about 6 inches) more snow last night and more is coming this week so I had to get the yard cleared in order to get to work. Luckily my boyfriend helped me but I think I'll be really sore from my back tomorrow.
