Auriga La Shock sabrinix Auriga La Shock sabrinix i guess i should have said college instead of school..... sweatdrop going to be a sophomore. I have to agree with your mom on this. In college, you really have to get used to doing everything yourself. It's okay to ask a parent for help, but you should do the act itself. If your dad is trying to do it for you, tell him that you want to do it yourself. yes, yes i know college= independence. and i should do things for myself (and i mostly do) i have problems with asking for help (i feel that i shouldn't need it. which is stupid). I can understand not wanting to ask for help since I feel that way every now and then, but it's something you'll need to work on. You have to lift your chin, tuck away your pride, and just do it. Most of the time, it's no big deal to the other person if you ask a question. .....easier said than done. i just want to get away from my parent's bickering and well meaning but really not very helpful help. hopefully meeting with an advisor will actually help.
