Even if anything went on between Sil and Loyal, her species only reproduces once in their thousand year lifetimes.
And part of me thinks she'd be a bit more obligated to her species if she were to EVAAAH reproduce. Since there are so few of them to begin with. sweatdrop

Sil's species way of telling time would be different from that of regular human, right? But I agree, she would prefer someone of her own species over any other. o_O;
Have fun in school. Makes the day less boring that way. ^o^

Yen - They age much slower than a human, though that wouldn't matter too much because of their shape shifting abilities. They need less oxygen than other species when they breathe. (oxygen being the actual thing that deteriorates and ages our bodies. Its like we're rusting!) ...Means she can hold her breath longer than others. XD

Even though her species require less oxygen to breath, it's kinda hard to believe her species are dying out. Humans do take a lot of oxygen in comparison (if you say it that way with the rust and all), but I don't think they're hogging it.
Still cool on the holding breath thing, they can be underwater a lot longer. Fishies are so neato (shapes, sizes, color, etc). >w>;

Well, thats not necessarily the reason they're dying out. Their low birthrate has something to do with it.
Sil's species are also used a lot as living weapons (or cases like Sil herself.) Shape Shifting is a VERY useful ability, and up until recently, many were captured and forced into slavery. Now those that are left generally stay in hiding.

If it's 1 human year = 1 Sil's year (or any small ratio), I could see how big of an impact the low birthrate is toward her species. ...That's just sad. gonk
I wonder how much my OC would hate the human race... Eh, he would try to be reasonable with himself since he believes all living creatures are equal (or deserving of living out their life). Chances are, he would place a lot more of his respect toward species such as Sil's though. Age and experience is something he shouldn't be messing around with.

It is amazing how they still keep their faith though. They're all a very religious bunch.
Sil herself is still pretty religious, though...yeah. sweatdrop She's starting to go on the basis of "The Great Spirit wills me to do this! They must suffer for harming her children!"

Them being religious might be related to their own pride (culture/race/etc). Sil is more hateful because she's one of the victims.
Even after typing this post out, I can't seem to put the two together (Sil and video). o.o;
