She was...confused and bleeding from her nose. Pulling away from the man she was standing next to, she watched her father's copy perform runics and saw the telltale signs even as she felt her own power drain to nothing. She could hear her mother screaming something but had no idea what it actually was and then her father's copy was bleeding...profusely. Glancing at the man beside her, she wiped her nose on her arm and frowned. "Undo his block on me." She'd never actually seen her 'father' perform any runes the whole time she'd been with him. That was...strange.

Zahara felt her body return to it's normal state in minutes and knew Sevilin was responsible. Just like she knew he was going to kill himself if he didn't stop. Screaming that at him, she slapped a hand to his chest and started an energy transfer. "Sevilin, you've got to get out of here. You're only giving him more energy to work with. You've got to go."

Zykariel didn't need anymore permission that that. He was off like a shot, searching out the large crystal flowers and beating them gleefully with anything he had available. In his mind he was chanting. This is for my sister. This is for my brother. This is for my other brother.... Delivering a last blow to a large crystal in the middle of hte maze, he ducked as shards went flying and held his breath. They had to be making progress, they'd knocked off three now.

“Hold a few seconds Malik…just a few…”Please let this work out.

Physical body cleaved in half, it disintegrated into sparkling dust a moment before it reformed and there stood the creature in true form. That same ethereal almost pixie like being, but this one stood at Malik’s side and seemed on a high side on intelligence. It didn’t say anything, but one could seem to know it was talking…before a shimmer and resumed a new form, this time as Malik’s eldest son. Well damn…he lost a form from his repertoire now. “I hate it when they do that…” Running a hand through bone white hair and seemingly stretching out his new body with movement. Didn’t get to keep that up much longer seeing as an arrow sunk into his neck a moment later.

“How many times must I tell you…I don’t steal souls. And how about this…I just want her body. I’ll let you bottle her soul…it’ll still be her, you’ll just have to find her a new body to live in. I’ll even give back that little piece I took from her. I of course would still be keeping the boy, seeing as you’re being a deal breaker…but you never intended to keep that deal did you?” Holding the elf she had by the collar, giving her a shake to snap her head back and open her mouth, a tendril of energy spawning. “And yes, I know you’re not bluffing, but as I said, I’m not really killing her.

She may just be a pampered Queen to most, but she was a grand strategist when it came down to it. Something she made up for where Kieran was more leap first and then devise. Thusly she took her chance.“Now Malik.” Distinctive shift in the air as runics dropped and her first priority was jumping her ‘grandson’ with a dagger that she apparently kept on her person. If she could keep one switching up forms or busy, it would eliminate the need for Malik to watch more than needed. Now she hoped that things back lashed in their favor as well.

Lucky for Fianna…she knew her runics. It was a master level trick…to push a body to a state on the edge of death where they literally held your life in their hands. They kept the teo planes of existence and non existence separate but it took effort. And a break in concentreation, an interruption, an cancellation of runics in the right way could produce one of two effects. Throw said person to the land of the dead…or jolt them back so fast to the land of the fully living that it destroyed even the most grave maladies from the body…or at least strengthened it until further measures could be taken. Fianna knew how to do it in the positive way.

Thus, it was that second of distraction that Fianna provided afterward and the sideglance from the one who held her that gave Piper the opportunity to snap back to the land of the useful, grabbing the arm that held her by the metal band around her neck and twisting to break the arm at the elbow before spinning in her own stance to strike with a boot to the midrift hard enough to send the other sprawling a bit of distance away. Distance was good in this case. See…and Malik thought she hadn’t ever listened when he had been teaching and preaching on all that hand to hand combat without weapons thing. Though the whole thing left her breathing hard and shaking…before she turned sights on a Keely that wasn’t Keely, who had hold of her son. Another side effect of that runic play…she forgot that she had previously more or less almost been dead and the stress that did to her body. Not to mention…she had a dangerous element to her now that made everyone enemy as he eyes had that wild look that signaled an Andalian elf in that state of survival preservation feral mode.

--
Malikhai was right with him, the two of them devising ways to track these things down, be it through heat, energy, or chance of luck coming upon them. Anything larger than a real flower was maimed to bits by weapons and blunt force…and it was a distinct less heavy feeling to the air as they were being destroyed. A pause to catch their breath and there was that shift in air again as another fell. “How many of these things are there?” Taking out the jar, “Look.” The little pixie like thing in it, looked almost as if it was fading and dying. Taking a moment, he picked a smaller flower and dropped it in the quickly opened and closed jar, watching the thing perk right back up. “Best to save at least one…we gotta find more to destroy…or find our parents.”

Eyes turned over to the two boys, the little one trying to do something but failing from his lack of strength and the older one dealing with it easily He popped an eyebrow at her voice though and turned his eyes back to her. “Why? We’ve been through this…you’re do to your own runics for yourself…you’ve learned how to break blocks. Do so. Consider it a test.” But then a certain almost pained and uncomfortable look crossed his features…it felt like…they were destroying crystals…

He grabbed her wrist to stop her, but he didn’t really have the means to even move her when she was determined like she was now and he wasn’t on par with things. Sevilin shook his head at her, not caring for blood at the moment…they were right there. Close enough to grab but just out of reach of fingertips. He didn’t want to leave the room without them…yet with this drain it was getting horrible…Thusly he gave into her, backing up a few steps by her urging…showing a willingness to have a mind for himself but a hesitancy to go anywhere still.
--
Well…like father like son hm? Didn’t surprise him. But he nodded and let Galesen be the mode of transportation as she held his daggers in one hand and held onto Galesen with the other, trying to be careful of the other’s injuries. “Well…energy can be expressed as heat right? I have heat vision…I guess from the combination of my parents’ visions or something but that’s how mine comes across. And I can tell you there’s a lot of red and white to the right and a lot of black and blue to the left.”

Galesen gritted his teeth as Mykorian tried to be careful with the his injuries. He wouldn't say a word but it didn't mater what the half-elf did because even his weight put pressure on the wounded shoulder, the sword went straight through the elf's shoulder and the other is a superficial wound. Thank the gods his legs weren't stabbed or they be screwed right now. A blink as he turned his head to look at the boy with an amused look. "Heat vision huh? Well it seems that you're full of many surprises. Kerian would be happy to document on how your eyes worked for sure, though this is the first time I ever heard of someone actually having that kind of vision." A pause as he looked to the right and he nodded, he knew how the whole point of 'heat vision' worked. "Alright just tell me which way to go then." And off they went down the tunnels, soon enough they came across a crystal and Galesen set the boy down slowly. "Hold your breath." Minutes later the flower was shattered and shards fell around the floor like broken glass. With that one down Galesen got Mykorian back on him again and took off, at the same time he took a link stone and activated it. "Hey Malikhai, how's things on your end?"

Looking down at the false piper, and smirking lightly, before placing a boot firmly on her chest.

"You're right, I never did intend to. however, in all this wonderful fuss in dealing with me, you've overlooked some very important facts. I'll let you figure those out all on your own."

Before glancing at his wife...frankly, he could defend himself, he wasn't entirely worried. however he did make due to try that idea from earlier. reaching his hand over and siphoning the life essence of living flesh from that body, and trying to transfer it to his son to hopefully perk him up some or undo a little of the damage she did.

"Oh. and part of what makes my wife, my wife, is her body. I mean your offer to be able to make her into some sleek bodied Tier'dal being nice and all, but Piper is not a tier'dal. It's not the same. but you shapeshifting types never do get that idea."

Adding some pressure from his boot, grinding it in a bit, keeping the point of Malvolence at her midsection, where he coudl easly cleave her in half with a little pressure and movement of his wrist...and looking at that thing she gave him before.

"You said this would steal souls. I wonder if I can use it to siphon out of you whatever bit you took from my wife."

"Because I don't believe you can. If you're my father like you seem to be then you can undo the runic blocks. I can't do anything, I have no more energy." Jerking her thumb at the other Sevilin. "He drained it all. Gone." Lying of course but if her 'father' was really her father, he'd catch her on it. Her energy was merely nullified from the runic backlash. It would take its time to recharge but in another few hours she'd be back to her normal runing self. "So?"

Zahara watched the pained look move across the copy's face and frowned. What had done it? It couldn't be anything they were doing, could it? Perhaps the shattering of the illusion as her daughter began to piece things together? No, that seemed far too simple. Then again, if a spell was over Faate and had been broken, that would weaken control over her and possibly even the one who held the control if he was somehow strengthening himself with it. She continued to back her husband up, pushing him out of the room completely and then yanking a dagger and plunging it into the copy's chest. Would it do anything? Probably not, but it sure as hell made her feel better.

"I don't know. But my guess is there's at least four and possibly more since we've destroyed three and things are still living." Shaking his head and glancing at the jar. "I'd rather kill it but if you must." He skirted a corner and nearly smacked into his father who was rather bloody and a real mess. "Dad! It's the flowers. We have to destroy the flowers and it does something. They're fairy...things." Frowning, "What the hell happened to you?"

He gave a little cough and a shift, which was about as much movement as he had done in the last span of time. A little lift of his head and a distressed noise seeing as he had some energy at the moment for some reason. Another cough from him and a whine of sorts.

Okay…not expecting that at all…did not need that to happen. Didn’t help that her partner was being chased around by a surface elf in the form of a young teenage boy. She told him not to choose that one.“Don’t be so smug yet. Being down does not mean that one is defeated. And being defeated is only a temporary condition anyway.” Though she tensed under his boot, but not because of him…someone was wrecking her house in a way that they didn’t need to be and she could feel it pulling something fierce on her…those lesser of her ranks were going to be dropping like flies. Point in case when ‘Keely’ seemed to be first to suffer in the room, not being able to maintain her illusion. But her eyes were pulled back to Malik. “You’d get used to it.” Glaring at him as he first exerted pressure and then threatened. “Not steal. And you don’t know how to use it…even if you could get it out of me…how do you know how to get it out and patch it back to where it belongs?”

It was all a matter of backing her into a corner. Every intimidated thing acted the same…she put down the boy behind her and would attempt to stand up to the aggressor…but if anyone was smart they would know that you never put yourself between a mother and her child. And since the ‘nell seemed even more weakened, that made it easy prey for an elf who was intent on one thing. But it seemed Piper didn’t have to do much, the creature more or less having it’s own breakdown and then…wait did it just turn into a little thing. It was duly snatched from the air with one hand and crushed before she picked up her son from the floor who immediately cuddled into her.
--
Another look of red eyes that didn't belong to him to the girl that also didn't belong to him. Why was she questioning things...could it be beacuse...He snatched her by her wrists in one of his hands. "How ungrateful to question things like you do. If you can't do it yourself, then you fail." He rolled his eyes though as metal cut through a superficial body. "What is with all this stabbing. You all always stab first." Grabbing her wrist and the dagger it held, pulling it out and flinging it aside, drawing back a hand and striking her across the face to send her sprawling. "I grow tired of this. All these games...all this time being interrupted." A look to his own Zykariel. "Take the young boy to a more secured place. Go now."

Get yourself back together, swallow the blood in your mouth, wipe you vision clear and pull as much as you can from the enviroment around you. That's all you have to do. But his mantra to himself was interrupted by his son's voice and he regarded him warily a moment before deciding that it was indeed his son...Zykariel asked questions with the tone to them. Straightening his stance he blinked through blood at his boy, nodding at the information passed. "Faate happened to me as well as soul suckers. Do you have a piece of one on you?"

A blink at the stone and he grabbed it. "We got some down here, just keep looking." Turning a look to Sevilin then."Yeah we have a piece." Pulling out that jar and shaking it some to confuse the thing inside of it and opening it, breaking a piece of crystal off the piece he had in there and handing it over to Sevilin. "What are you going to do." Closing and putting the jar away again.

He pointed to the room he was just pushed from. "Your mother, brother, and sister are in there. I 've blocked Faate but I don't know how long it will hold. Get in there and distract as best you can...there's only two of those things in there. One looks like me and one looks like you Zykariel. Keep them away from your mother. They won't hurt your sister or your brother but try to get them both."
--
“Mom had infravision like most drow and dad had elvensight like most surface elves. I guess they mixed in a funny way.” Merely acting as a standby/lookout he guessed seeing as there wasn’t much he could do since he couldn’t support his weight. Some fine mess he’d gotten himself into. Another look around. “The passage straight ahead it a tad warmer than the others.”

Galesen smiled at the kid's explanation and nodded. "I guess it did, Malikhai is also half but I haven't heard of him having vision like your's. I guess somehow your type of sight is only given to so many." A small shrug and he smiled. "Though I guess when you go topside your vision changes so that way you don't get blinded? After all your heat vision is good to have down here but not on the surface." All of this was said as he followed Mykorian's instructions and headed down the path up ahead, a few more turns later and they were in front of another one. After setting the half elf down Galesen proceeded to break the flower, took a little longer because of his wounds but in the end he manage to do it and soon enough they were back in the tunnels. "Oh lead my feet to the next flower with your magnificent heat vision." This tasked seemed so long, who knows how many of these damn flowers where in these tunnels.

Looking over with a smirk as 'keely' turned into a..well..a bug, and was duly squashed. then back down at the other 'nell.

"You're house of cards is tumbling down. how long do you think before what happened to your friend happens to you? how many of your servants do you think you've lost already?"

pointing the needle thing over the area that would have been a heart if it was even in there.

"You said stick it in the heart, and the little needle will do the rest. granted, it might not work on you that way. but it seems I have plenty of time to prod, poke, and stab you until I figure it out."

then a frown.

"Or, I wonder, if one of your lessers would be willing to divulge that information in exchange for their life. of course, You...well...I have all sorts of special things planned for you if you want to be so stubborn as to let this turn of events run it's course."

Looking over at Fianna handling his 'son'.

"you're only other help here is not exactly in a condition to be of use. So. you want to voluntarily give up, and maybe I'll decide to spare you, or do you want to hope that what's happening gets stopped before you turn into whatever that little bug form is that appears to be your natural state?"

She glanced down at her wrist in disbelief, completely shocked by the pain radiating through her hands and lower arms. Her father never manhandled her, except when she was a child and he'd forcibly picked her up and carried her to her room when she was being obstinate or fussy. But he'd never hit her, never grabbed her in a way that might hurt her and had always been patient when she'd asked him to do something or prove something runically. She was even less convinced when he slapped her mother and she turned on him, fighting him like a caged animal. "You aren't my father! Let me go! Let my brother go! You...you...b*****d!"

"Got it." Reaching out to steady his father for a moment, he gave a smirky grin to Malikhai and then burst into the room just as his 'father's' hand made contact with his mother's cheek. Dropping next to her for a moment to make sure she was okay, he helped her up and then turned his attention over to the others in the room. "Whoa...that's...just weird." Carbon copy of himself and it had his brother, too. "Hey! That's mine."

Grabbing his friend for a moment, he whispered. "Malikhai, you're better at illusions. Confuse him. Throw as many forms of us up as you possibly can. I'm going to get my brother. Dad's taking care of the rest of the flowers, I think so we'll only have to keep it up until they do what that other thing did. Maybe if you taunt him with that he'll get angry and do something stupid. I don't know, just distract him! I'll do the same." Racing towards the thing with his brother in hand, he focused his energy and split himself into three parts, each Zykariel advancing on his other copy, surrounding him. "Hey you stupid idiot. You picked the wrong brother you know. He can't do anything, doesn't have any power to speak of. I'm the powerhouse. And with all my teenage angst...just think of the power you could have had. Pity, you're just a flunkie though. You're hte babysitter while Daddy over there does all the real work."

Zahara realized what her son was doing and glanced at Malikhai as well. "I'll help you in anyway I can, Malikhai. We might as well beat him at his own game." Nodding to the 'Sevilin' holding her daughter hostage. "Let her go, Sevilin. You can't win and you know it."

“I wouldn’t be top of my kind if it wasn’t for me not being the same as my lessers. And a good leader does not need to depend on the whole of a hoard.” Besides…there were really only a handful down here of the parasitic like doppelgangers. “Yes you do…but how do you remove from the device what you take out without letting it flutter away or be destroyed?” His intimidation wasn’t going to work on her. “What? Let me guess you want to know exactly how to treat your son without killing him, is that it?” Slightly mocking tone, just because. She wasn’t too worried just yet….her crystal source was swiftly tucked away.

And he had started crying, though in that restrictive way one would do when something was wrong with them, but crying none the less. Which was good and bad in some ways. Meant that he at least had the strength to do such things but also meant that something was wrong…because if anyone knew the D’vinn kids, it was that they didn’t ever cry unless it was something terrible that was happening or they perceived it to be, even when their parents were there.

And of course little upset her more than crying of one of her kids. Which didn’t help the feral tone of mood…so it was probably lucky that the failsafe to such a state was that maternal bond of mother to child could override it. Means she wouldn’t hurt the boy. But she didn’t do anything to stifle him either, only kept him securely in her arms to provide what comfort she could…there was still a threat to deal with.
--
This was all going south…this group was far more resilient that he wanted to give credit for. But he held the preteen in his grip despite he fighting…she could always be fixed later as well no need to lose her. “Such language at your age, I’m appalled.” Turning his attention to the new nuisances that were now in the room.

Kid was set down and more or less slid to rest against the wall as he took to arms against his counterpart, breaking out sheer brutality in the strength of his strikes back to him. “You all think that strength comes from those that are older. It’s always the young quiet ones to watch the most.”

“Gotcha.” Thusly it was on to illusion play, tucking himself into a corner and working from there. If one wanted to play with doppelgangers, use doppelgangers and he was exceptionally good at that. A change in terrain here, a sensation or smell there. Veils of invisibility over ones that others held and noises that mimicked them as needed from different locations. Accompany that all by a fun little static charged fog that wouldn’t bother friends and family but would cloud others senses. A look over to the side though and he perked up. “Kelli…Kelli come here. Crawl over to me. Come on buddy.”

Telepathy was not his forte, but runically he was able to. Thus he sought out Swiftfeather through runic energies, his voice worming into his head. “Swiftfeather…work with me. I’m going to pull an Extinction series and I need you to conduct on your end.” Getting confirmation back, he started into his runics again, scribing them in his own blood so they would stay all the longer. A vast inticate series of markings that lit up on the final stroke and he placed the crystal in the middle, scribing them more runes. Extinctions meant to do what they said. Pick up the crystal, match anything with the same makeup, and destroy it.
--
Fianna had given back her compliance, and knocked her ‘grandson’ to the ground pinning him with a boot as she took to doing her own scribings. Extinction, that was a grand idea. Though she gave a yelp and fell to the ground as the one under had grabbed her foot and twisted, breaking her ankle. That wasn’t going to keep her completely don though as she merely kicked her aggressor in the jaw with the other boot to knock him back again and took to scribing her own compliments to the ones she’d been asked to help with.
--
“It changes as it needs to…doesn’t bother me. And when I get older, I’ll be able to change it as I wish to or need to.” Or at least that’s what his parents said seeing as heat vision wasn’t exactly the same as infravision and the like. A roll of his eyes, “Don’t overrate it. I can be fooled and the like. But go straight and then take another left.”

"Does the word, extinction mean anything to you? Because that's what you're looking at. We know your dirty little secret. how would you like us to spread the word topside. Or hell, we'll just collapse that ceiling anyhow. might not kill you, but kill all your kind. And now that we know how you work, I'm sure you'd find it much, much harder to survive, especially on your own. Come now, you know us Tier'dal do enjoy a good genocide."

Leaning over, putting more pressure on the doppleganger's chest.

"This time, I do hold all the cards but one. You have one card that is keeping you alive. yes, we know how to kill you. and yes, we can take our sweet time finding your little plant bed. You and the other big boy on the block. you give back what you took, you restore our children, and you might be able to convince us not to utterly erase your race from this plane."

Faate continued to fight, resorting to biting and slapping him in the face to get him to release her and even using some of her more elemental skills to set fire to his clothes and whatnot. The blocks were weakening and soon she'd be able to rune as well.

"Quiet?" Zykariel questioned. "You actually think that mass of fluff is quiet?" said the second. "As if. He screams constantly. And when he's not screaming, he's jabbering on and on and on." Chimed in the third. The fourth shook his head, "Makes you want to cut your ears off after a while though I guess he's cute enough to keep around." All four Zykariels were fighting to the best of his ability and everytime it seemed like the 'nell was going to land a blow on the real one, Zykariel pulled a quick switch and another illusion was sliced instead. He multiplied himself again, another Zykariel reaching out and tugging on the 'nell's ears. "Over here, dipwad!" Another reached out a foot and tripped him. Another was standing on a rock and poked him with a sword, "I say, you are quite possibly the largest imbecile I've ever had the displeasure to know. I said, over here, my good man!" Suddenly one Zykariel began climbing the walls. "Didn't you know? My mama worked for the spider lady. Hiss!" Still another screamed girlishly and slapped him in the face. "Don't you dare touch me THERE!" And then three of them began jumping rope and singing "Drowzerella' with Zykariel's chain.

Kelligrin glanced around, blinking at all the chaos going on until he heard his name called. Hey, he knew that voice. "No! Walk." He would not be crawling when he could walk. Pushing himself shakily to his feet, he took a step and stumbled but caught his balance and started toddling once again.

Zahara blinked when her son who wasn't really her son but one of her son's copies, or was it her son? began swinging her into a dance, dipping her back and twirling her around the way Sevilin had done when Zykariel was a little boy. She was quite surprised by the elaborate show her real son was somehow putting on and stood speechless when she was left alone. Turning her gaze over to Malikhai, she watched her youngest slowly walking across the room and frowned, ducking to avoid a blow from 'Sevilin.' He was taking too long and that would give either of the 'nells time to snatch him again. She had to speed him up...speed! An illusionary swarm of spiders instantly materialized and began heading straight for Kelligrin, successfully herding him towards Malikhai.

Speeders! Why wasn't Daddy or Mommy smashing them? They were going to eat him! They were going to bite him! And Nym wasnt' there to save him in return for hugs! What was he going to do? He stood there a shaky moment and began to cry as they began coming closer and closer and then he dropped to his hands and knees and began crawling as fast as he could towards the only person who wasn't surrounded by them: Malikhai. Sobbing blindly, he lifted his arms and began flailing, tugging on Malikhai and screaming.

"Huh sounds like your body has taken all the measures to make sure you're alright then. That's good cause it suck to be blind in both eyes because your heat vision wont turn off." Though he smiled a little as Mykorian poked back at his speech of sorts. "Oh don't worry I'm not trying to overrate it, times like this you need some humor to see you through. Can't be all too serious or you may just end up stumbling around in the dark, well metaphorically speaking for us. But if the 'nells do some how find a way to fool you I bet there will be another way to find these damn crystals."

And so onward he went in the direction that the half elf told him too. Moments later they can across their third one. Sighing he set the elf down and took to his task, breaking this one though seemed though and Galesen was doing his best. Damn blood loss was starting to make him a bit weak here. "Gods how many of these cursed things are there?" He mumbled after he shattered the crystal. Quickly he activated his link stone. "Malikhai! How many of these 'nells are there? We just gotten to three so far and are heading to the next one. It be nice to know the exact amount of these crystals we need to destroy!" Saying all this as Mykorian got onto his back again and off they went into the tunnels

"That's a good boy! Come on Kelli!" Okay....no idea what the hell the spiders were about, but hey if they made teh kid faster then they made him faster. Soon as the kid came close enough, he snatched the toddler up and bolted across the room and out of it, bypassing a bleeding Sevilin to streak down the hallway. Hey he knew that it was better to grab the kid and run than stay. A forwn as he grabbed the stone again. "Do I sound like I know that answer?!"

Counteracting the girl was easy, since he didn't react much. No physical pain after all. But a frown as the boy's 'nell was going down and going down quick, but it wasn't from the boy himself. Another one of those pain pangs before illusion faded on the other, leaving behind the little fairy. But his concern came in the form of the other teenager running from the room. Knocking the girl in the jaw, he flubg her away and bypassed her mother as he ran after the boy who was carrying the babe.

He didn't get far out the room, a sudden runic flare felt what felt like ropes tightening around himself before his eyes caught equally red ones a second before the 'nell was flung into the opposing wall. He didn't stop there, a chain of runes being scribed at his fingertips in assult of the other...just had to hold off till that run finished. A bright flare from the crystal before it seemed to shoot out several bright pinpoints of bright light that apparently traced all over the place to crystals...as well to the other held against the wall. Much screaming and such on the false one's part as he lost his diguise and a light seemed to go off in his chest....then he seemed to go still as well, body composure just dimly flickering. Not that he could tell what happened next, seeing as he was finally giving out and toppled to the floor in the massive pool of his own blood and still leaking more.

He fell after the other one did, sliding down against the wall and head lolling to his chest. The light in his chest stayed before it seemed to move up and out of his throat, a little seemingly ball of light flitting slowly in the air that didn't belong to him.
--
"Let's just keep go-"he paused as a streak of white hot filled his vision before a few more went off...followed by several flares of firey colors even through rock that he couldn't see through and the air seemed to get lighter feeling again. "Um...I think that's all of them..." Yup, his vision was cold.

She was second in the line to get it, her own runics flaring up in reaction and she was thus the director of said energy, keeping it stable in her own circle as it lashed out much the way it had for Sevilin. One beam struck her own agressor and the other tried for the one Malik had...but rather than react as the lesser did...the higher seemed more getting drained than anything.

Damn it! The bastards had figured it out. She could feel them trying to undo what she had...which the others she didn't care about but she was selfish too and was glad she had protected her own. Consideerably weakened though, she lost her form and took on that swirling ethereal one. "I'd make that deal with you if I thought you wouldn't kill me a moment afterwards." One where he benefitted wholly and she got to live....but she didn't trust him that much and this crystal extinction thing wasn't going to kill her.

Malik smirked lightly.

"I keep deals that don't involve betrayal for 'promises'. I want the children restored, and what you took put back where it belongs. Other than that, you'd make a useful ally with your unique traits. I've no need to destroy you if my children and my House are safe and sound, provided you won't try this little stunt again. But we know about your traps, and we know how to kill you. So it's not like this trick would work so easily a second time."

He did notice it killing others but draining her.

"You're stronger, yes. tougher. but without a form that can harm us, you're nothing of a threat, and we can destroy you at our leisure. Are you willing to make that deal? your existence in exchange for leaving my house alone and repairing the damage you've done?"

Or looking at Fianna.

"Or...we can just tear this place apart, can't we. we know what we're looking for, I'm sure we'd have no problem finding it with the resources at our disposal, would we."
