"Greece." Terryn glanced over his shoulder, looking for the duchess. "We can leave after dinner." She laid herself back on the couch and yanked him down on top of her for a kiss. She was liking this plan.

A few minutes later, Marcus reluctantly pulled away and tugged at Terryn's hand happily. "Let's go. We need to start making arrangements. Writing letters. That sort of thing."

"Right." Terryn followed him up, feeling rather mischeivous and at the same time excited. "This is bound to raise some sort of chaos. And you know I love chaos."

"If this doesn't excite them, nothing will," agreed Marcus. He looked back with an enormously satisfied expression. "But I do think it will." He took out a quill and handed it to Terryn. "There's parchment in the dresser; you're a more eloquent writer than I am."

Terryn rolled her eyes and took a piece of parchment from the drawer before sitting down at the writing desk. "Alright then, how should we begin? Dearest Grandmother...? No, no definitely not."

Marcus chuckled. "If you wish." He, too, was writing a very brief letter, asking for a place to stay. He mentioned several times that he was getting married there; he remembered how fanatic the old Greek couple had been about his marriage. This would be fun.

Terryn shrugged and began scribbling furiously, her quill fluttering across the page as she filled out a very enigmatic letter to the duchess. "If this does not shake her, then she is made of stone."

"Actually, she might be. We'll find out now." Marcus folded up his letter and his voice sobered. "And we'll need another letter for your father...a gentler one, perhaps."

"Well this one has instructions on how to break it to my father upon his return." Terryn signed it with a small flourish and folded it. "Assuming that he returns before we do."

Marcus thought this would be highly unlikely, but he said nothing. He didn't need Terryn to be upset now, of all times. "Perfect." He took the letter from Terryn. "Get your things. I'll send out my letter and leave Gran's somewhere that she won't look until tonight."

Terryn nodded, her cheeks flushing with excitement. "And you are sure you are ready for this? Being tied down and all." She knew that this marriage was going to be rather different from any other either of them had known, but she still had to make sure.

Marcus grinned at her. "Why wouldn't I be? I can hardly wait for it," he informed Terryn. He looked slightly more serious now. "Why? Aren't you?"

"Oh, of course." Terryn nodded sincerely. "I just do not want you to have second thought over abandoning your old sporting days for just one woman."

Marcus shook his head. "Not at all. Particularly when this women is as much of a beast as I am," he called over his shoulder, grinning and leaving to send the letter.

Terryn smacked him lightly upside the head and watche dhim leave, grabbing her travelling bag from the armoir. She started packing, not quite sure how long they would be gone but knowing that she would need at least a few weeks' worth of clothing once travel was taken into account.
