Malik frowned at the linkstone, and once Sevilin was off, put it away and went outside, looking through the stables, and in the surrounding area. after all the child could not have gotten far if he was still here, Ramoth would probably have stopped him. Speaking of the Nightmare, she was highly peeved that no one had paid her any attention in the past few days. which confirmed for Malik suspicions that someone had forcefully put them into some kind of enxtended reverie. So soothing the mare for a few moments, before looking over the rest of the stabled horse and finding no trace of the youngest son, Malik came back inside in a highly agitated state.

Keely turned her attention from a steadily more and more upset Piper to the elf that was family friend. "Galesen." Yup, not was not a time for smiles. "Dhairiss is missing...and something else is wrong too. No one feels right..." In fact...a lot of the human and half elf staff seemed almost as violently ill as she had been earlier.

Oh yes, worry was steadily rising and thusly she was tugging at her collar perhaps a little to hard, trying to find some sort of comfort for the unease she was feeling all over. Her attention promptly turned to Malik though as he had come back in. "Well?"

"Okay we know one thing...he's alright. Runes on him...and even if someone mangage to fake mine out, they're not gone and they can't be removed. Take that piece of mind for now...don't think I'm going to let this lay." He did a quick swipe of his hand and thus a ball of energy formed to his palm and he tucked it away in some runic pocket in some rune masterish thing he was doing before making rounds to gather up the others of his name. Picking up Lyssie, to prevent tears. "No she's not mad at you. No worries, things will be okay." Or so he hoped. Thusly quick translocation over

He blinked as his father had come out, seemingly looking for something before soothing his horse and then wandering right back out...that was odd. Closing Kerick's stall door, he stopped by Ramoth and looked her over. "What's up with dad?" Giving her a pet on the nose and adjusting his books under his arm as he headed back inside, still his confused teenage self, but a pause as Inthara's made an apperance and headed inside...what were they doing here?

"Kelli what's the matter baby? Do I hear pouting? You know how I feel about you pouting." It was a simple matter...being others was no hard task for her really, more so than the others around her. If a moment was needed to soothe then so be it...long as they ate.

While she tended to that, he made sure to keep up his part. "See? Mommy is there." Petting at the child's hair with a smirk before turning his attention to the other two at the table, who were quietly behaving without worry. "Everything to your liking you two?"

"Not a sign, not even so much as a dusty footrint. Ramoth says we've been out of it for days."

Before turning his attention to the Inthara house, and it only took three seconds to notice two of theirs were missing.

"So it's Faate, Dhairiss, and Kelligrin. both toddlers and one of the older children. and my guess is Faate is missing because it's easier to soothe a toddler with an older sibling than a strange adult."

before seeing Malikhai, and motioning him over.

"Let me guess, no actual school today, right? and how are you feeling, anyone got any nasty cramping, upset stomachs, anything of the like?"

Blinking at the little gathering, he wandered over. "Um no, and I feel fine...just a little stiff maybe." Suddenly yanked off by his friend for a brooding session. "I thought we had to go, it was a schoolday...well, supposed to be." But the panic quite easily was seen as it flashed across his eyes at the confirmation. "Dhairiss is missing?!" So then it was true, they both had missing siblings. "You're more worried about them holing us up?"

"We've looked all over this place...he isn't anywhere." Then another blink. "Locked up? But we only lock up at night..." Now she was confused and not feeling good at the same time.

Galesen was instigating something, and Ramoth was apparently confirming things...they were out of it for a span of time? And what had happened during that time? "I don't like this at all..." She wanted her son here right now, safe in her arms. A look to Zahara, "The only time we stay over is when we've deprived ourselves and our minds make us...but we couldn't of all done that at the same time...is there a method to keep us down? I've never heard of one..."

He had one arm around his wife, and was merely doing his best to soothe his girl that he was holding with his other arm. "I had a headache and was rather dizzy when I came up today. It passed, but it still happened...Zahara didn't feel well either."

What kind of gesture was that lip thing? He'd have to consult on that one later.But his attention stayed on the other two. "No she didn't. But that's to be expected if she's not here. The others will join us soon enough." Another mental message back...yes indeed it was a good thing that they had options and now was a good time to take them. "How do you feel you're doing in your studies Faatallon?"

She tapped her fingers lightly on her arm rest as she crossed her legs and grinned. So easy. "Of course I'll come see you Kelli, and Faate too soon. I just have to finish some matters up before I can come. Are you going to be a good boy for me till then? Do what daddy says?"

He was a little resistant, mainly because he picked sometimes like his mother did but he eventually gave a sigh and a nod, picking up the rest of his chicken nuggets and eating them down. Faate seemed to like it when he ate, and daddy did too so maybe she'd tell daddy he ate all his food. "Play later?"

"Even elves can be forced into enlongated periods. usually by deprevation. someone has figured out a way to do it on command, obviously. and if they were able to do that, then they used it to get into our homes and take family. I don't understand though why they took our youngest. if they wanted the heir, they'd have taken Zykariel and Malikhai. So there has to be another reason."

Malik was pacing himself now, going over in his head every strategy he could think of for taking a toddler over the next in line. and then taking Faate as well.

"Piper, get your father. and Lateef. and what the hell, have them contact the Brigade master. I want to know everything about whom as left Andal for whatever the hell reason if they can get it. I don't care if it's a two year old going on vacation, I want to know about it. Someone managed to get past Sevilin's runes as well. So that points a finger at Andal. I want all our contacts here gone through, everyone of them. Galesen, I want anyone you know about that knows us contacted, and interrogated. and I don't care what it takes. If I have to send a fleet of Breakers into the underdark to get answers I'm going to."

before a look over at Zahara.

"you're friends as well. particularly that one, who's name is eluding me at the moment, the drow. and everyone Zykariel has had unpleasentries with since he started school. Sevilin, do you have anything in your arsenal that can strip or prevent illusions? If you can affect your children at least at long range, it'd be hopefully a way to get a bearing when they notice."

Looking over at Galesen.

"As much as I commend you on noticing that, why didn't you talk to 'piper' about the closed doors. you know that if it had actually been piper she'd have answered you."

Before Galesen could even say a word to Malik and correct the drow he suddenly felt himself slammed against the wall, his breath left him in a solid gasp as he was pinned against the wall. Slowly he looked at Malik and stared at him. "Thanks..." He muttered with what little breath he could muster. A look to Zahara now. "Well if you...let me...explain..." A pause as he tried to breathe. "Malik has it wrong...I saw...Piper and Sevilin...first...before I went to...Twilight..." Another pause as he took a breath, it was getting a little fuzzy. "They looked like the...Piper and Sevilin...we see...now. I did not...see anything...that looked like...an illusion." Gods it was getting really hard to breath, if Zahara really pressed it he could black out now.

He stopped a moment and looked at Sevilin.

"The fact is they got past them. now, unless there's some connection between you being force into an extended slumber adn your runes not being able to retain any information during that time period, then they knew about your runes, and how to get around them. to my knowledge, they only people that would even be privy to the knowledge they exist, outside us, much less be able to bypass them would be someone from Andal. or at least someone that has visited there at some point in time."

before a look to Piper.

"I'm covering my bases. and I want your father's journals on Dhairiss and our family life. and anything he has on sevilin and Zahara's as well. of all the strategies I can think of to take a younger sibling over the next in line, conversion is the most likely. or ransom. I'm almost hoping it's ransom."

Settling down in a chair.

"It's a tactic employed by Tier'dal houses, usually against eachother. you take a young child, and retrain them. remold them to your needs, and then send them home. parents that are more relieved than anything at a child's safe return never think to question loyalties. then the opposing house has a completely fool proof informant, and later on, a puppet leading another house. Queen Cristanos was infamous for such underhanded tactics. But Dhairiss is to young to use the kinds of methods a Tier'dal employs. and he has no access to any kind of vital information. neither does Kelligrin. but Faate might."

leaning forward.

"So that brings us back to the question of why take the youngest, least knowing children when there are more potentially better options. there has to be a reason for the charade, something that needs the children to think they are safe and sound."
