Hope it gets fixed soon Lamb!!

The stress and tension of the holidays is getting to me too. I actually wanna go visit my family.. but the planning of how and where and with what money is going to drive me insane.. as it is I can't even sleep and I've still got 2 1/2 weeks before I'm supposed to leave. And yet I don't have the money to make the reservations for the car rental or anything yet.. and already I've got 20 different people all asking if I'm gonna come see them while I'm back.. *sigh* At least all of my dad's family will all be in one place Christmas eve so I won't have to travel to see all of them, but I have 3 other family members (on my mom's side) to go see.. and then all the friends I went to highschool with including a slew of ex's.. (ex- boyfriends, ex-best friends, ex-fiances... ) And I get to take two kids along for this ride lol.. yeah I can tell I won't be sleeping again tonight lol.

Sorry for the rant there guys.. didn't mean to turn the conversation on me lol. I do hope the holidays get better for you Tiika.. And Daypaw? I'm feeling that financial strain too.. (I've got less than 100 to shop for over a dozen people... including my kids... should be fun lol) *raises her glass she accidentally walked off from the Canteen with* Here's to us not going insane this holiday season!

When I was 10, my friend Paul's family was in some really hard times financially, so his dad came up with the "Santa got in an accident" scheme. He managed to get a deer antler, some bridle straps, and a sleigh rail for free and told his kids that Santa was in a huge accident and that he had to postpone his deliveries until he was out of the hospital. When asked about why other kids got gifts, he told them that about 2/3 of the world did not and those who did were before he crashed. They bought it and it got him enough time to get the money together to give them christmas' worth of small presents the following May.

I found this and thought it might help:

http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/gaia-aquarium/behold-the-god-of-b-ty-grab-over-2k-aquariums/t.47293957/

The lag city can be very helpful in finding massive payout tanks. But it does lag like nobody's business, so you have to shut down the window entirely not just minimize after you find a good tank.

Currently unsure which generation of nightmare to get... I am filled with dread that gaia, in typically callous horribleness, will decide that each generation gets one less item in finality or something... So if I got a lesser generation, I might be inordinately screwed! D:

Oh yay, the posting is fixed! All though all the posts I've made that got glitches have been deleted but no matter. Thank goodness it works now. I just hope my internet would work as well too. We've had some issues with it but I guess it's the down side of living "in the woods". xd Oh and I almost forgot, we have snow! I don't know how long it'll last but right now everything is covered in thing white layer. *makes snow angels*

Ugg that's too many people to give presents too. Where there are so many it makes more sense to draw names and only give to one extended family member. I hope you can get some good sleep soon. Holidays can be brutal!

Yeah I don't know why my family never started doing this but they didn't.. maybe because they can all afford to get gifts for eachother.. *sigh* If my family out here ever gets to be more than the 5-6 of us I may try to convince them that we should do that.. but for now it's just my mom, and one brother and one sister.. so it isn't too bad..

@Lilygwen you should totally post some pics of the whiteness for us!! I wish I could go make snow-angels..

I'm off to do more shopping research.. I still have no idea what I'm getting my kids.. *sigh*

none of have the time or energy anymore for gift shopping. i buy gifts all year, those things that i can get at sales and save back for parties and stuff. then draw out of that for filler gifts.
this year we gathered a box or basket from everybody, with their wish list inside. then all of us can check the list and buy what we can until the baskets are full (or at least have enough of the right stuff in them to call it good). even that giant stocking of the youngest offspring that she expects to be filled. then again, there just happens to be a large pillow on the list... twisted

Ok I got my PC today... it makes my old one look like a piece of junk! I will be getting another PC as soon as my cash comes in, so that the GF and I will both have one.

Its good to be back with the world once again... I was wondering how long till I would join a rehab center for no interwebs haha

I love it when I get to shoot the wind out of someone's sails. I made a comment on DA and got totally thrashed for saying anything that goes against the masses – to the point of a bit of hateful backlash on my own works. I respond with thankful appreciation for the feedback and, since they assumed I was a troll for delivering candid commentary to begin with, they are all knocked flat on their faces.
