I only removed the one of my son. I don't care who sees me ( and I love to show off the children but I can't be sure of who is copy/pasting them either) better safe than sorry.

Let it be known that I won't show pictures of myself. A few members already know what I look like, but I don't think posting my actual picture would be a good idea. For security reasons anyways.

Pairo Dohma Let it be known that I won't show pictures of myself. A few members already know what I look like, but I don't think posting my actual picture would be a good idea. For security reasons anyways. Let be known that I am the King of Posting Poll Galore! No one is required to show their picture. Or even post their bio once the thread is made. It's purely on a voluntary basis. Some people aren't comfortable with sharing personal details like pictures and that's fine.

I don't mind showing mine but since there is a pic of my family found on google (or so I am told by my step son) I won't leave pics of my children up on sites. But if you want to see them just ask & I will show you briefly. biggrin

Hehehe... I'm too much of an open book to mind sharing most info about myself.. but even I won't just tell everything.. If for no other reason you never know where those creepy guys are hiding.. and I've got two lil kids to protect...
I do hope some people are interested in particiipating in the bios thread though. It will be nice to have some more info to put with the names..

Ok that is it! I quit. I am so sick & tired of losing stuff that I have spent time on getting here. I am going to give all my stuff to people & I am leaving Gaia. I have spent WAY toooo much time on this site & keep getting screwed over by people! I bought 2 sealed envelopes & worked out a trade with someone for those in exchange for a dark halo. Do you think I got it? no but they got the other stuff...I am sorry but I can't keep starting over from scratch & losing everything!

one of the mods from a guild I used to be on talked me into staying around & not giving up on the mods doing their thing. I reported this last case of scamming. But I don't have much faith in trading with people anymore. It is so disheartening when you are trying to rebuild what you lost to just get screwed again.

I'm so sorry that you are having such a hard time here on gaia... But I am glad that you are sticking around.. I would just try to avoid trades that aren't straight out trades anymore.. If you don't get what you want don't approve the trades.. I used to wonder why some of the people with shops and whatnot are so... what's the word.. 'unsociable'? or.. just down right rude? And it's because most of them have been used just like you... Better to be safe than sorry in the future..

yup and I am to that point unless it is someone I know. It is sad...this is supposed to be my outlet for fun....lately it seems that the fun has been taken out of it (except in this guild) I have quit all guilds except this one for now. I love you all & just can't bring myself to leave it. it is lots of fun here

I'm so sorry to hear that. I can relate to the frustration; I was hacked on Neopets. I was so addicted to that site, I spent four years building up two serious galleries, all kinds of trophies, strong pets, etc. Then I...don't even know what happened, I suspect someone may have keylogged or I clicked something, and boom. My two accounts were absolutely frozen. It seems so worthless...why expend more effort for that? It's an awful feeling.
