What? They don't. Doctors give ritalin left and right, because parents and teachers can't cope with a kid that has a bit of energy.

Teach them to pay attention. Smack 'em when they run around like an idiot. Make them do things rather than just rolling around in front of the TV all day.
Stop putting Mountain Dew in their lunch.

All my doctors did. Ah well I haven't been to a doctor since I got my tonsils removed.
