but pretty much, you are Chell, a girl who was abandoned at birth...you are awoken in the Aperture Science Enrichment Center...
you get an Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device and are made to do a series of tests, along the way, you are mocked and aided by GLaDOS, the Aperture Science Enrichment Center's homicidal AI. Her big gimic is deadly neuro-toxins, so just remember that part...

So as you finish the tests, you come to the last chamber.... at the end, GLaDOS tries to kill you but you escape... you make your way through the inner workings of the Aperture Science Enrichment Center and make your way to GLaDOS's chamber where you have an epic brawl... once you beat her, you are sucked out of the Aperture Science Enrichment Center and thrown from several feet to the ground where the screen fades to black and you get to hear a snazzy song. At the end, the camera zips and zooms around the inner workings of the Aperture Science Enrichment Center and shows a cake and the Aperture Science Weighted Companion Cube. An robot arm comes down and snuffs out the candle, and the game is over.

Halfway though, you get to meet your faithful Aperture Science Weighted Companion Cube. It cant talk, walk or do anything. It is like all other Aperture Science Weighted Storage Cubes, only it is decaled with a heart. At the end of that chamber, you must euthanize your Aperture Science Weighted Comapnion Cude by throwing it into the incinerator. Remember this part, the end of portal 2 has a suprise in store for you.

but thats about it... Portal 2 gives more back story to the Aperture Science Enrichment Center. GLaDOS, the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device, and it's founder, Cave Johnson, who is the most psycho bad a** you'll ever meet.

I might buy it then, while I still have the money. Thanks snuff. *gives piece of cake*
