A whispering noise began, coming from every one of the ghosts. It was the same sound that Ghost had perpetually heard for her life. The only really distinct words that could be heard were, Help me.... Help me... But, after a moment of that, each ghost slowly began to fade, until there were none. The previously deafened noise of the grove came back, and birds could be heard. The grass swished in the wind, and on the other side of the clearing, a notebook's pages were shuffled loudly.

Sora had to cover his ears at all the ghosts whispering for help at once. It hurt his ears so much, he was about to yell at them to speak one at a time. But they started fading away, the noise slowly going with it. Once they were all gone, Sora was able to hear the notebook's pages fluttering. He used his magic to make the book float over to him. Didn't Ghost say something about something in here being for him? He began to flip pages, unsure of which page it would be on.

On the very last page of the notebook read one poem:
Every fairy tale Has an ending Most are happy Some tear-rending I think my life Is some type of tale One of adventure Love and death Because even before I can catch my breath Things move so quickly It strains my heart But this would be it This is his pat To put me together My prince.

Sora read the poem and smiled softly, closing it. He looked down at the girl on his lap and gently tucked the notebook into her arms before stroking her hair softly. He wondered if she would wake up soon, or if he should take her inside to rest some more.

It seemed that just as Sora thought that, the girl's eyelids began to move. Sleepily, she opened her eyes, which had changed. One was still the grayish white that had come with being a necromancer, while the other was a dark-chocolate brown. She blinked sleepily at Sora, as if trying to remember who he was before she smiled a little. "I had this insane dream..." she started, sitting up a little, before she noticed what she was wearing, the notebook in her lap, and the fact that her arm was against Sora's without a layer between them. Startled, she moved away from Sora, retracting her arm, and looking worriedly at him.

Sora looked to see her waking up, which made him smile. She suddenly pulled away from him, but that didn't even register with him. He immediately hugged her and buried his face into her shoulder. "You're alright. Thank the gods you're alright." he said, keeping her close to him.

A look of horror came across her face as Sora hugged her, and she squeaked a bit. But then she realized that nothing was happening. Tentatively, she put her arms around Sora, as well, hugging back, and smiled a little. For whatever reason, her powers weren't effecting him. Nothing was happening!

Sora smiled as he felt her hug back. He then looked to her and smiled a little sheepishly. "We might have a very slight problem." he said, rubbing the back of his neck. "I can see ghosts and stuff..."

She frowned and looked around the clearing herself. There didn't seem to be any spirits, though she couldn't remember a day in her life where she didn't see any... The dream she'd had came back to her and she covered her mouth with her hands. That hadn't been a dream. "You... I... Ghosts... That's why you're immune!" she said, uncovering her mouth and putting a hand on his cheek. "That's why I can touch you! You... Must have... I don't know, taken some of my powers... When you made the choice..."

Sora looked to her, feeling her touch his cheek. The sparrow shrugged a little and smiled some. "And now I know your real name too. A plus for me." he said, kissing her forehead softly.

She opened a mouth to say something, but blushed instead at the feeling of his lips on her forehead. She looked down, closing her mouth and smiling a little. Even if it was only Sora, she was glad to finally be able to hug someone, to touch them, in her life. She hugged Sora again, resting her head against his shoulder happily.

Sora smiled more, feeling Ghost hug him once more. He wrapped his arms around her softly, gently stroking her hair softly. He rested his head on top of hers, relaxing with her in the evening sun, a bird once again landing on his head.

Everyone else was still under the impression that Ghost, Anastasia, whomever, was dead. Yuke was sitting on a bench in the courtyard. It wasn't that he mourned Ghost in particular. He hadn't really gotten to know her. He just knew that Sora was going to be torn up over this, and he didn't want his cousin to be miserable. Damian was about on the same brainwave, saddened for his son's loss.

He soon got to his feet, helping her up. He picked up her notebook for her and smiled. "We should probably get back. Show people you aren't dead anymore." he said with a small laugh.

She nodded and took the notebook, holding to her chest. She blushed slightly as she remembered her "last" words to Sora. She'd wanted him to read her poem, but she wasn't sure he had... Which might be a good thing, now that she's not dead. "It would be funny to convince them I'm a ghost," she said jokingly, imagining it in her head. It was a somewhat evil joke though, so she'd never actually go through with it.
