InuVash255 well i guess ima go see the movie some time next week (maybe monday if my work schedule allows). I'll reserve my full opinions until then ;D Well, I saw the movie yesterday, and WOW... probably the least coherent movie i've seen in a while... It was totally a hack job of the series... And they definitely left out some of the more important scenes, like EVERYTHING that had to do with Roku... I think it would have been alot better if they made the movie at least 2 and a half hours (instead of less than two!). With that time in mind, they could have taken the 6-8 most important episodes, and basically weaved them together in live action.

Personally, I'm not going to watch it. Mainly because M. Night can't pronounce Aang's name correctly. Note the TWO a's there, how can you mispronounce that? But he did! He pronounces it 'Ahng', which breaks most (if not all) common pronunciation rules. Ugh, I don't think I will watch it after all the bad reviews anyway. And here I was actually looking forward to it... sad

That much didn't bother me, it was more that the movie had way to much s**t packed into it making it seem like you where watching a re-cap of season 1, not a movie >.<

Just the issue of pronunciation threw me off. Aang's should still have been pronounced the same for the sake of contingency. Outside of that I've seen some of the previews, there's a lot of things in the previews that didn't happen in the show. Or rather that happened differently in the show.

It was pretty spot on with what happened, it just cut a ton out because it tried to include to much. It's like trying to watch 5 episodes of avatar in half an hour essentially then having them (to cram the episodes into this time) skip all the story build up and instead show just the very first few minutes and last few minutes of every scene. You loose all the meaty middle that gives you any sort of connection to the characters.

She really wasn't a big character in the movie. She had like, 3 minutes of screen time tops. You know, to make room for a full hour of senseless action and over the top martial arts.
