I think ashriel is gonna become that guilds protagonist just because he is the one guy you don't stand a chance at converting.
And we aren't gonna be family till spring guild time.

You forget something...Ashriel literally can't die. If he were subdued, his body would just rest until it was healed enough and Ashriel would take down even more people. I designed him for the purpose of weakening the alliance, he can handle you.
