'hmm this is going to be hard finding Akane inside this gigantic base, wait maybe i can lure her out with...COOKIES' Awai thought happily [random thought of cookies right now xD].
"i'll be right back" she said as she ran to the kitchen and started making chocolate chip cookies.[30 minutes later] "yes done" she said as she returned where kai was, "maybe the smell of these cookies will lure her out" she said.

Kai had waited patiently, almost. Aaaaaaaalmost. When Awai returned with a tray full of freakin' cookies, Kai just took a minute or two to look back and forth between the two. His expression was confused, amused, and all the other 'used' words you can think of. Maybe.
Slowly, but surely, he grabbed and cookie, whilst looking around at everything all 'shifty-eyed' like. ... Anyways, he ate it. Yeah. Just cuz he was kinda hungry, he loved cookies [Kai: Who the hell doesn't like cookies?], and kind of just to be a jerk.

The smell hit her just as hard as the craving did. Was someone making/baking food? She had just eaten the rolls with Kira and Katashi about an hour ago, but Akane knew she wanted to eat the, if she wasn't mistaken, cookies.
Rolling over to the other side of the bed so the comforter would unravel, Akane's grip on the pillow tightened. Really, these people in Akatsuki knew how to play. A small little smile lifted up the corner of her mouth into a large smile. Sneaking towards the door, Akane began reading the chakras.
They weren't far from the room she was in. The closer the better, the less she had to walk towards the freshly baked goods. Silently, Akane pulled the door open but the door just had to creak. Smacking herself on the forehead, she sighed, swinging it open and stumbling over towards the cookies.
Kurai watched as Kin's musceles tensed because of Daisuke's movement. Of course, most people would've just stared at the strange bird but this wasn't the case here. It had taken Kin by surprise so he hoped closer and closer...
Until he stopped by Daisuke's feet. Looking up, Kin tilted his head sideways, questioningly. Kurai almost let out a quiet chuckle. It was like Kin was questioning Daisuke's kind actions although it should've been the other way around. Kin wasn't used to kind ninjas at all.

Awai just smiled as kai took the cookie, then she saw Akane stumbling foward, "finally we found you" she said as she put the plate of cookies outward "want one?" she smiled

Without even noticing her transformation back to normal, Akane's smile was bright. She stood up straight and took three cookies, quickly munching away at one. Arching an eyebrow, Akane jested, "And I thought the oh so evil Akatsuki members didn't bake cookies."

Akane nodded. It was sort of agreeable, although she knew of others who wouldn't approve of what was going on right now. Another nod blended in with the rest, "I just ate some rolls." Just to contradict with what should've followed the sentence [<--- 'I'm full'], Akane tossed a cookie into her mouth with ease.

Kai hadn't said much during their conversation; he had been nibblin' on a cookie, savoring what wouldn't be there much longer. He nod-nodded as Awai explained a bit of what she had to do since she lost [which Kai wasn't going to do much about], and then he remembered that since Akane won, and he would've lost either way, that he had to give up his crown. He decided to stay quiet, though, for he had a cookie to keep his mouth occupied for the moment.
Daisuke made a light, 'hmm,' sound. This bird was... very skeptical, actually. Kind of. ... As much as a bird could be, in it's own way. He, too, leaned his head to the right a bit, matching Kin's little movements. He found Kin kinda cute like that.
A thought struck Daisuke. How odd would it be to walk into that very room at that moment, and see the two? It'd be kinda funny. A bird and a young silver-haired boy just staring at the other as if they'd never seen anything like it before. They'd look crazy.
He lowered his hand a bit, seeing as Kin hadn't done anything with it yet. Hell, Kin could peck at it if he wanted, Daisuke would probably let him, if it meant Kin would trust him a bit more. For some reason Daisuke liked Kin, seeing as he liked a majority of all animals. Save for a few... the meaner ones... but, oh well.
Daisuke stayed standing straight, deciding that bending down to Kin seemed like a bad idea.

Akane had a look on her face that was inbetween a smirk and a smile. A smirle she'd call it, but, of course, the Akatsuki might just put her into the mental hospital. Curling her bottom lip, Akane blew upwards in an attempt to move the bangs out of her face. Usually, she'd just reach out and grab whatever it was she wanted but since first impressions were important, Akane held her hand out. Kai couldn't be stupid... could he?
Kin, if he could speak, would've asked if Daisuke thought he was mentally challenged. Well, what more could he expect? Man just met creature. Most people didn't take trusting others besides people similar to themselves, except for a certain someone who was standing behind Kin.
It was as clear as a bell, the day Kurai had bumped into Kin. Although, it was more of chased/stalked. Kin's first instinct was to attack but the genuine happiness in her eyes gleamed bright. He couldn't take it away so easily. Kurai, on the other hand, was really just trying to have some fun. Who didn't enjoy watching birds take flight? This one was just a bit more stubborn.
Kin straightened and took off, like he did that day. Landing gently on Daisuke's outstretched hand. Kurai smiled ever so lightly. Without making much of a noise, she watched for their next moves.

Kai looked down at Akane's hand for a long-ish period of time. He knew what it was she requested; there's wasn't anything else she could possibly want. Unless she randomly just wanted a hand shake... But that's just lame.
He sniggered and plucked his crown from his head and tossed it in the air several times. If that's what she wanted, then she'd take it, right?
Daisuke was thoroughly surprised, yes, but also thoroughly pleased. He smiled one of those smiles that you only see in anime; ya know, with their eyes closed but they still look adorable. He gently petted Kin's head, but only for a short amount of time.
"I guess we were anxious about nothing, hm?" He questioned lightly.

Her eyes following the crown, up and down, up and down, without much more movement. If Akane believed in things like 'mind control' with mere movements, this would be it. Of course, there was a couple of clans with mind control jutsus, they were rather easy to get out of. Not powerful at all.
Akane's hand dropped back down to her side, watching it intently. Others said she was easily distracted and this was the proof. Weakly, Akane attemped a small grab at the crown, her mouth slightly opened.
Kurai let all her laughter out. Oh did it feel good to laugh after what she had been through. It was nice for Kin though. He didn't bond with anyone else since he started tagging along with her. Letting out a choppy call, Kin nodded almost making it look like he found he funny. Really, Kurai could be a real nut head sometimes.

Kai only smiled as the crown didn't seem to fall in his own hand this time. Though, Akane had only really grazed the side of it, which knocked the poor lil' thing off kilter. He had to move a bit more to catch it, but he still managed. He stuck his tongue out afterwards, but mostly more in thought.
Carefully, he held the crown a few inches above Akane's head, trying to get the align correct. Finally, he felt that he had it lined up in the middle, where it should be, and placed it atop her head.
"There you are, mi'lady.~"
Daisuke smiled at all of the laughter and bird-ish laughter alike. He looked over to Kurai. She had seemed very troubled when he first entered... a bit shifty, but she seemed better now. Not fully, of course, but better. Still troubled by much, it seemed, but laughter is always a good cure, right? Hopefully she'd find more time for laughing and smiling. It suited her. She looked good that way.
Ever so subtly, Daisuke gazed over to Kira. She didn't seem troubled by something. She seemed like the kind of person to trouble someone else, may she know it or not. May she enjoy it or not, that was just her, apparently. But by the smug look she has kept through his whole time of being there- -which wasn't very long, actually- - he decided that she did enjoy it.
His eyes gentled from their joy-filled state, yet they still remained with a happy spark.

I keep smacking myself in the forehead. My characters were weird back then... Like, they all acted like me; the version of me that, quite frankly, pisses me off sometimes. So... I've gotten a whole lot better, I cannot deny that. xD Everyone's matured so much; our characters and just us all together. YOU GUYS GROW UP SO FAST! Ah... I love you guys. xD
