It was good to see Selene smiling. Most of the time Estelle didn't find Elio's teleportation sickness amusing, but she found herself smiling right with her friend. The mood took a turn as Selene answered her question about Kahiau and Deanna however, as it got Selene thinking about her own romance - and therefore Sly. "Selene..." Estelle said softly as she sat down beside her old friend and wrapped her arms around her. The Pokémon astronomer's mind felt like it was burning with questions she wanted to ask. What exactly happened? For the moment though, Estelle put all those thoughts aside, she knew Selene would tell her the full story when she was ready. Right now Selene just needed a friend to be with her, and at that moment, there was nowhere else Estelle would rather be.

Selene waited until her friend was sitting down and holding her, before resting her head on Estelle's shoulder. "At least they are still able to interact with each other on a regular basis. So I can't fault them on that account." She said as Hibiscus got into her lap. " Sly and I never said anything aloud to admit our feelings towards each other but our actions did in a way before we went our separate ways... I wanted to shoot myself for losing that necklace that he made me. I still want it back as it was precious to me because he had made it for me. Wished that I could have made those friendship necklace things that I got for us." Selene said as her left hand went to her white fish charm that she still wore after all this time.
"At first, he was acting the b*****d that he would act towards other people than he would usually act to me. Yet as time went on, it was almost like old times again. Like the sea had washed the years of separation away and it was sweet torture in a way. With Sly saying that he wouldn't be here long and didn't seem to meet me again after this interaction today. I did something I probably shouldn't have done and most likely I wouldn't have this injury if I hadn't gone for it. Care to guess what I did? " Selene asked and admitted to her friend, wondering if Estelle would figure out that she kissed Sly. "It wasn't Sly's fault that I got injured, it was all on me." Selene said so Estelle wouldn't have another reason to hate Sly for. There were already enough reasons for them to hate the Reckless Rhyhorn. Didn't need to add another one to that list.

Kahiau closed the door after Deanna and Icicle came inside. He went back towards the table where he had been cutting the berries. "I hadn't told her that I have talked to him yet. I saw them going to the Pokemon Center to have Dr. Zemaitis take care of Selene's sprained wrist. I spoke to him for a bit after he left her there. He still cares for Selene strongly with what he said. Though he wouldn't admit it directly though. I want the best for the both of them but I'm not sure if it would be wise for them to be couple right now. Yet that isn't my choice to make either. I hadn't heard her side of the story of their meeting yet." Kahiau said before putting the cut berries into a bowl for later. 'r.'
"According to Sly, she did a stupid stunt that she had Briaxen tossed her when she used psychic for. I'm guessing Selene might have tried to kiss him and why he said stupid stunt instead of admitting a kiss happened...." He said before going into the kitchen and began cutting the poni radishes. 'I'm not sure what to say now. Or think really when it comes to those two....'
Deanna could hear as the door was closed behind her, before she listened more as Kahiau explained that he had spoken to Sly. Her eyes widened, she had not expected that herself, also that he had not told Selene he had done so. It seemed Selene had gotten hurt and Sly had brought her for to the Pokemon center to be cared for. She nodded, it definitely sounded like Sly still cared for Selene, though why was he playing so hard on her feelings then? She felt there was more about this she did not know about, she would have to keep her eyes open for more on all of this. It seemed Kahiah didn't have everything either, though didn't seem to think it was right for the two to be together at this time.
"You are right, that may not be your decision to make. Right now, from how Selene was when she called me, I don't think she is ready yet either. However, feelings are strong sometimes, you cannot always control them. You and I both know she still cares for him too, maybe why whatever happened hurt her as well. Kai, I would suggest you get her side too, so you have a better understanding of what happened. Maybe more will be revealed with her side of things, don't you think?"Deanna questioned.
I think there is definitely more to this than meets the eye. I wonder if we might find out more in time, that might help everyone,'Lightning spoke to her trainer and friend. Dea wasn't sure, she had to believe that they would be able to help somehow, she just didn't know how yet.

Selene was venting her emotions more so than telling a story, but she said enough for Estelle to start connecting the dots herself. Estelle saw Selene touch her necklace, as she often did when thinking of Sly. The Pokémon astronomer felt tears welling up in her eyes as her friend poured out her heart. They started to stream down her face when Selene claimed her wrist injury was her own fault after asking if Estelle knew what she did. She doesn't want me to be angry at him. Even after all this, she's still protecting him. He must be a good man deep down for you to care so much about him. I just wish he'd act like it for you. She thought as she held her friend close. And what shouldn't you have done that you think I can guess? She considered her friend's words. The way you say it, I'd almost think you kissed him, but that wouldn't hurt your arm. And anyway what he deserves is a good smack. Despite her critical miscalculation, Estelle almost had the whole picture now, so she told Selene, "Of course I know what you did. And it's not your fault. After all you've been through, that guy deserved a good punch in the face."

Selene had her head on Estelle's shoulder and had tucked her forehead against her neck. She was surprised when she felt a tear going down her forehead. Estelle is crying??? Why though? She thought to herself before pulling her head away and up from from Estelle's shoulder and saw the few tears stains on her friend's face.
"Yes, but he didn't kiss me back though. It seemed like he wanted to kiss me back and yet he didn't. He pushed me away and not long after that Serafina decided to toss me against Sly and the two of us went down. That's how I got my wrist sprained."She said before letting a sigh. Selene decided not to comment on it wasn't her fault, but it really was though. Then she smirked at the fact that Estelle said that Sly deserved to be punch in the face.""He got a round about kick to the face that made him drop to the ground. Let's say that was my hello greetings to the jerk." Selene admitted as she had enjoyed doing that in a way.
"He said that I should focus more on the contests for a while. That didn't make much sense I'm being a judge for it, not a contestant and I had say earlier to him that I was a judge for it." Selene began to say as this was leading to what she didn't want to bring up with the others. "He then started to say 'I don't w--it'd be bad if you got hurt anymore, and Pokémon Rangers need to prepare for trouble.' It sounds like he knows of something that might be going down but couldn't say what. He still cares for me give me that warning of sorts. What am I to do about that? I wanted to talk to you about this now and not in front of the others about this warning of sorts. What do you think?" Selene asked her friend, not knowing what to do about it.

"Sorry, I guess I got caught up in the emotions." Estelle said, wiping tears off her face as Selene looked at her. Then the blue-haired girl really dropped a bomb on her friend. "OH MY TAPU!" So she did kiss him! Estelle was so surprised she accidentally shifted her weight onto one of Cœur D'or's rotating segments causing the startled Pokémon Astronomer to fall to the ground. Chibi Selenes and Slys floated around Estelle's head kissing, before the little Selenes kicked the Slys as Cœur D'or's spike swung around and hit Estelle. "Ow. I'm okay." She said weakly. Then as she got up she added, "Sorry about that Cœur D'or, Selene. I guess I really wasn't ready for all this." She patted the Shiny Steelix, then turned back to her friend. "It sounds to me like Sly was just saying a lot of stupid stuff. But if he's here expecting something bad to happen - something he'd feel the need to warn you about - Elio and I will help you out. There's nothing the three of us can't do."

Having done some training, Crystal was a lot better at battling. She continues her journey with Sebastian now a newly evolved Zoroark, and Yuki her alolan Vulpix. She smiles as she and her pokemon were on her way to catch more wild pokemon. She was after a certain kind of pokemon though, Lycan rock Midday form. Even a rockruff she could evolve into one would do nicely. Sebastian had learned a few new moves as well as Yuki. Though Yuki was resting in her pokeball, Sebastian stayed out of his pokeball to protect Crystal as he always did. He was always more interested in protecting his trainer as Yuki was more than anything else. Crystal was their top priority.

" It's alright, it's been an emotional --- Oh dear, " Selene began but then her friend slid off Cœur D'or rotating segments and landed on the ground. "Are you alright Estelle? I did drop a bomb on you there." Selene said after Estelle got back on Cœur D'or. Cœur D'or nodded her head in acknowledgement to Estelle's apology.
"He did say a good bit of stupid things today, I'll grant you that part. Yet, I know he was being serious about the warning though. We were already at the Pokemon Center, and in the back when he said it. He knows how much he hurt me earlier as I admitted to him that I had gone to the morgue to look for him back then before our pokemon battle happened. Eh, I got to say this stuff more in order later with the group. But anyways..." Selene said before letting out a yawn
."I do believe his apology at the Pokemon center, and not long before he left me there, he gave me that warning. He stepped out the room before I could ask for any details though." Selene said, looking at Estelle before her stomach grumbled slightly. " Thank you Estelle, I wished that I hadn't had to call you two away from the Crown Tundra like I did though. Honestly, in a way I wished that I could have been there with you instead. Yet then I might have never had a chance to talk to that idiot again.... To get some some closure so there's that... " She said as she stood up to start back towards Kahiau's house.

Selene was heading back towards the house now, apologizing for calling her friends away from the Crown Tundra. As Estelle turned to walk with her she said, "Oh right, that reminds me - Thank you for giving me an excuse to get out of that frozen wasteland. I don't know what was worse - the cold or the crazy, dangerous Pokémon Elio kept picking fights with." Speaking of Elio... The Pokémon astronomer recalled her companion's reaction to hearing that Sly was back in Alola. "Elio didn't hesitate to cut our time there short either. I think he's got a score he'd like to settle with Sly, too."

"I know it's not my place to make that choice for them. I want the two of them two be happy whether they become a couple or if they find someone else to love. I do plan to get her side of the story, but I want her to tell me in her own time though. I don't want to rush her though. I'm hoping that letting her have this get together here tonight will help her relax some." Kahiau said as he continued to chop more of the poni radishes.
"I didn't want her to be alone tonight either, considering how she has cut herself in the past. Dea, please keep an eye out for her tonight as I'm afraid that she might start cutting herself again after this chance encounter with Sly." He admitted to Dea, placing the sliced poni radishes in a bowl and setting it next to the stove.'I still can't believe that Marguerite had somehow got Selene into doing that....' He thought to himself as he sat down at the table next to Dea. "I wished there was something else I could do to. I just want what's best for her you know?"He said to Dea, as his emotions showed on his face.
Selene chuckled after hearing that her friend was glad to have a reason to leave the Crown Tundra. "You're welcomed then, even though I still feel bad about it though. " Then an slight evil grin came across her face before teasing Estelle. "With it being cold there, you and Elio must have snuggled up a lot to stay warm over there. Did you enjoy snuggling with him?" She asked with a slight smirk on her face, hoping to make Estelle laugh.
"What is the score that Elio have with Sly this time? Besides the usual wanting to battle each other like they did back in the day?" Selene asked her as she thought back to their times at the pokemon school and doing the island challenges. Back then, Selene didn't like Elio much since he was a bit pushy for wanting to battle her due to the fact that her brother had been the Kalos champion the day they both were born on. Sly wouldn't let him battle her unless Elio was able to beat him in battle. Now, after how he had been willing to help her out after Sly left her behind in Lumiose City... . Elio was a friend that Selene wouldn't take for granted as their friendship really began in Kalos than back in Alola. She was more open to battling Elio now compared to back then when they they were doing the island challenge.
Deanna nodded, she knew Kahiau wanted them to both be happy, that was what she wanted to. She knew that feelings could get overwhelming and one didn't always know which way to go. However, she hoped both Selene and Sly would work on what worked best for both of them. She felt they helped one another, when they were not actively trying to avoid one another, for whatever reason. She hoped whether they ended up together or with others, they would grow in love and happiness for life. She gave a soft nod of her head as Kahiau went on to explain he would get his sister's side, he just wanted her to reveal it when she was ready. It sounded like a good idea and hopefully the get together today would help her calm her nerves.
"I will make sure to keep an eye on her, make sure she doesn't hurt herself. And you are doing plenty, Kai, you are allowing her to deal with things and have girl time. That may seem small to you, but it is a big thing. You can't do everything, that is why it is good to have others around. You are a good big brother, please do not forget that,"Dea reminded. She placed a gentle hand on one of his own, letting him know he was doing the best he can. He couldn't keep kicking himself for things not always being as simple as everyone would like. Sometimes all you could do is be there and help pick them up when they fall.
I am sure time with you girls will be a lot of help to her. It will remind her that she has friends and that she can lean on all of you. Then maybe she will open up more on what happened,'Lightning agreed. The little Pikachu had a lot of belief in things turning out alright, even if it could get rocky sometimes. She was like her partner in that regard, even if her friend needed to be reminded of that herself sometimes.

Once it was safe to do so, Dan and his Pokemon had left Poni Canyon and come back down near the beaches. It was evening now, and the warmth of the day was now tempered with a cool breeze. Dan wondered if he should tell anyone about what he had witnessed. He had talked to Jolteon and Pidgeot about it, and they all came to the conclusion that they would decide later.
But now, Dan let all his Pokemon out of their Pokeballs and started running and chasing them around on the beach, all of them laughing merrily. Rockruff was the newest to the group but fit right in with their hyper antics, and was having a blast chasing his new friends and taking turns being 'it.'
Dan was running from Jolteon and looking back over his shoulder, and so he did not see the other trainer until he collided with her and most likely knocked them both over. He proceeded to look confused about what obstacle he had just run into, and then he realized it was a teenage girl. "Uh... hi. You OK?"
Location: Near the beach with Crystal Wearing/Possessions: Dark blue shirt, dark blue jeans, black sneakers with white trim, small black pouch of supplies.
Sebastian managed to catch Crystal just before she fell to the ground. Crystal didn't know who, or what, bumped into her but looks over at Dan and says "Yes. I'm fine." in a calm and gentle voice before adding "It's my fault. I should have been keeping an eye on my surroundings." She says as she stands next to Sebastian who was glaring at Dan being as protective over Crystal as ever. Crystal sees the glare and pets Sebastian's head saying "He didn't mean me any harm, Sebastian. Calm down." before looking back at Dan and saying "Sorry about Sebastian. He's been really protective of me ever since he evolved and we left Melemele Island." Still petting the Shiny Zoroark's head to clam him down.
