There's such a fooled heart In search of new dreams, a love that will last.
I'll place the moon within your heart.
Not one to compete openly, Tsuki made her way out onto the field with the control and strut of an amazon, though she lacked the sun-touched skin to suggest this warrior mentality. Perhaps in another place and time, she would have made a deliberate point of catching attention, of flaunting her trim and capable athletic form, and making her own attempt to winning over the men and senpai himself.
Ah, but this was not that day. This was not her intent. For now, she wished to remain unobserved. Though she had already made her claim and decided for herself what was hers, it was not well known yet, and she wished to handle this matter with discretion. She would blend into the crowd for now. She would study the setting in greater detail. This, unfortunately, meant that she couldn't properly watch her prince at the field doing what he so loved and competing with the energy of youth and virility.
She felt her face heat up at the thought and she lifted a hand to her face, embarrassed that she allowed her thoughts to become so distracted with this kind of scandalous turn. Then, at the end of the latest race, there was someone who charged the field, who interrupted the victory, over the coals. Panicking anew at the prospect of her prince being burned, she scrambled for a cooler filled with ice and then shoved it into the arms of someone who was watching aside.
The mindlessly obedient bystander overturned the ice, frigid water, and a few melon sodas and water over the prince and Blue Maya who leapt upon him. Did she have any concept of the sport? She nudged another stranger, clearly a fangirl of Katsuro-senpai but not a threat in Tsuki's eyes, as the girl would buckle and retreat in the face of a superior force. Tsuki directed her to get Maya off the field.
True to form, the fangirls rushed again to rescue Senpai by retrieving a 'rival fan' from the field. Tsuki cared not what happened after that point, so long as their efforts were successful. She ensured its success from the side-lines, for now, working to keep herself under control... She wanted to look her best for Katsuro-senpai. She couldn't do that if she was wresting Blue from the ground.
I'll paint you mountains of gold I'll spin you Valentine EveningsI'll paint my love between the stars...

Other proposed sites, yes. That was definitely on the agenda. However, unlike the apprentice, who seemed to make it his life's work to uncover all special secrets and begin to translate the runes in the ruins, the adviser to the crown was quite happy to take the time to rest.
Now, being the strange being that she was, a proper and deep sleep wasn't in the cards, but she could doze and rest as she recovered. Stationary for extended periods of time was definitely the best thing for her right now.... Food would be seen to next, she decided, and when she woke, that was what she took care of.
When the apprentice arrived, she slunk out of her bed. She slowly picked herself up, pulled back her hair, and then she moved from the room and wandered to where they were keeping their food for the trip. Must eat.... and she would eat a lot.
"North?" She queried as she began to tear a loaf of bread into pieces she could eat. It didn't occur to her quite yet that she probably would want to adorn more than just the supportive fabric about her chest and the loose lower layers that made up the bottom half of her traveling attire. "What do we know about it?"

Unfortunate that they didn't have more outside support, but the situation hadn't changed terribly much from what they had at the start. She was just grateful that she could eat to her heart's content and sleep when they were not actively on the move.
And yes, the royal family.... Brook no delays.
She shook her head. Time to write a letter. She rounded the table, kicked out a chair, and then fell into it. She drew a paper and quill closer to her, alongside a vial of ink, and she began to write a letter that she intended to have delivered to the palace. It would serve as her report, and she wished to "alert" the palace that haste would not unearth this remarkable find. As long as she was present and on the case, the secrets would be found. It was worth the patience of the divines to realize them.
"That should keep them off our backs for a few days." She shoved another loaf into her face, eating with some semblance of grace, but apparently having a bottomless stomach. When she finished the letter, she had it rolled, sealed, tied off, and she handed it to Melzig, who could send it away.
She mumbled through the piece of food stuffed into her cheeks. Something about getting dressed. She'd be ready to go soon enough.

Only for a moment did the young mage kick and protest before he relinquished himself to the reality... --look, sometimes you're a pet. A shrug and a sigh were the essence of his folding arms as he made no effort to resist and watched his bangs reel up and lash at the top of his eyebrows again and again and again...
At the end of the hall was a blank.
... Literally. There was a sheet of white, vibrating with its hard reflection, standing where a wall of eggshell would have been. To the left the hall continued, but it was honestly hard to tell what was what. The halls seemed to take different turns than normal, but the length, the everything seemed to be somewhat shifted, but who could say for certain without a layout of the building?
Every room they came upon was a cube, tumbling and tossing side over side, as though it was the tinkering object of some omnipotent child. Melzig, taking the first chance to slip away, fastened himself to a hallchair with the grip of a barnacle. He held his head, waiting for the nightmare to end.
