Borra - Minstrel Location: With the troupe and Viveka Post: 3 Borra's eyes lit up, the idea of singing or even performing with someone else was exciting! Perhaps he could pick up some tips on how to sing! His own voice wasn't exactly the best and could always stand for improvement. Excited at the prospect he looked from Eira to Viveka and then was distracted by his sister a moment. He gave her a wry smile as she mentioned their missing troupe member but he didn't comment. The last time he had pointed out her obvious feelings for the mage he had gotten rather hurt in the process.
"She is right, we should find him. It looks like the war is going to start any moment." He managed with his voice growing smaller as he realized how close bloodshed was going to start. Shivering her leaned back against the reassuring figure of Gyuri. Listening as the new beast was introduced and the matori tribe brought into light he immediately felt...enamored by the woman. Perhaps it was because she was so different, with her shimmering skin and fins for ears.
"Wow....I wonder what the men look like..." He managed with a breathless sort of sound. Curious as always to discover new things he really wanted to go up and speak to the woman. Instead he just glanced up at Gyuri offering him a small smile. "Maybe we will win this time, we have the new tribe...to help so..." Sin'qua - Mage Location: With the Troupe and Viveka - heading for Makani Post: 3 Sin'qua wasn't impressed with anything or anyone. That was obvious, after all she was quite cynical. So this person Viveka was with could sing? Whatever. Folding her arms over her chest she was sneering, and avoiding looking at Viveka. She was glad to hear that Eira and Gyuri agreed on finding Makani at last they could do something productive. A crackle of magic from her hand as she felt her irritation grow at the delay, she looked over at the beast. Its massive size. Though it didn't look nearly as terrifying as the Oban's beast...more like some over grown pet. The Matori tribe didn't look very promising. The woman was..unique but she was far from intimidating. Lost in her bitter thoughts Sin'qua suddenly perked, spotting a familiar glow of magic that sourced from the young man she couldn't help but blush when thinking about. Taking an involuntary step forward in his direction and then continued forward without saying a word to anyone else. Perhaps gaining stares from her comrades as she basically made a beline for the blind magi. "Makani." She snapped upon arriving closer to him. Realizing she had...step forward without even thinking, her hand had even reached out to grab his arm, where her fingers were now tightly clutching him. Blinking she took a sudden step back her hand retreating as if she had been shocked. Her face red she looked away out of habit, not that Makani could see her embarrassed face. "Ah...we were looking for you Makani. Where were you?" She managed again.

Natsu had been facing the animals when Finnley approached and turned to her quickly. Her voice was familiar, he knew it was her, but... WHOA. He couldn't help but smile and look her over, before snapping his eyes back up to meet hers.
"Ohhhh, Finnley, darling!" He exclaimed, patting the space next to him. "How are you? It's been quite a while since I've seen you!"

Yaholo (Post count doesn't matter, he's an adult now)
Yaholo stifled a laugh. How was he cheating? Rilind shouldn't be angry with him to begin with! He watched as his lover spun around, shrugged, and proceeded to ask if there wasn't anything he could do to drag him away from the war, before turning and nestling his head into his chest. The movements that Rilind made only made it harder for Yaholo not to laugh and, thus, his face appeared to puff up as he tried to control his laughter.
"Awww! I'm sorry, I really am!" He said, nuzzling the top of Rilind's head with his chin. "But, this is important and I need to be here to protect my home. That includes you, too, you know?"
He allowed himself one chuckle and gazed towards the supply tents.
"Do you want to meet my son, Samoset? He's handing out supplies." He suggested. "I know this isn't where you want to be, but I would really like you to meet at least one of my sons..."
Then, he paused, his expression going blank.
"You know, I just realized, I have no idea where the other one is..." He said, sighing. "I hope he's not instigating anything..."

Viveka (Post IDK)
Viveka was about to reply to what Eira and Gyuri had initially said to him when Borra and Sin'qua came over. Suddenly, the comfortable pair of people he had been chatting to became a group of four, and his shoulders arched a bit. How in the devil was he supposed to talk to all of them at once? There was too much going on! What if he wasn't interesting? What if he slurred his words? Where was Natsu when he needed him?!
"M-me? No, OH, Naaaatsu!" He laughed, awkwardly. "Yes, yes, he's a singer, a wonderful one at that! He likes to play the flute, too! He made one himself..."
He glanced between the group as they chatted and couldn't help but feel a bit of a cold shoulder from Sin'qua, which only made his nerves worse. How was he supposed to be a part of this troupe if he couldn't handle all this chatter now? His shoulders arched further upwards and he glanced to the side, embarrassed.

Ikkio – Shifter/Ice Prentice Around: With Aysun, Chandra, Takoda, & Korra and Fishwoman While acidic saliva sounded fascinating, Ikkio agreed- she didn't want to actually touch it. Still, that meant that the woman had something she didn't... which would have annoyed her more, had not the sweet voice of a small wind girl interrupted her wrath. Oh. A child... Not something Ikkio quite knew how to deal with. It hadn't been long since she herself had been a child, but they were no longer quite her element... Then again... Children were much like animals: ignorant, innocent, just on the border of blameless. She could talk to this one – manipulating children was a skill she did need to have, or at least reclaim. They were, after all just on the border of being people. She kneeled down to the child's level. ”Well, I'm a friend of Aysun's” she explained, her voice sweet, ”So I hope to be Chandra's friend too.” she cut the antisocial boy a brief, sharp, sly look before, with a mask of saccharinity, she turned back to the girl. ”Are you their friend?” she asked. She was a completely different race than they were, mixed as they were, so it was unlikely that the girl was family.

Kaalnia – Alkidike Blade Beast Tents: Flirting”Oh wow!” Kaalnia said, ”So you've come a long way, then... Guess we'd better win this war for you, huh?” she said, ”That must have been so dangerous... cliffs and all... but I'm glad you made it.”Oh, was she. Kaalnia rarely found herself with such a vision of loveliness. And, rarer still, found herself waxing poetic. ”So, Naria, are you single?” And so ended any meager attempts at subtlety.

Hijil – Shifter Guard Supply tent – Meeting Bhima's motherHer hand released, she let it drop to her side, wrapping almost unconciously around Bhima's. Hijil nodded as well. Indeed, there had been no question: Jahuar was Hijil's homeland in a very deep way – it had been her sustenance and her bane for many years - and it's destruction, it's rending, its conquering by a devouring outside force was upsetting. Of course she would fight it. And, indeed, Bhima was fighting too. Hijil would never let her fight alone, and she would not allow her to be lost to the battle when it had taken so long to find her again. Her hand lingered on Bhima's, but both hands were needed to hand over her passenger. Reluctantly – as she always was – she let go, occupying it with maneuvering the wiggling and annoyed bird into her arms. ”This...” she said, feeling as though she was in a spotlight, ”Is Ath...”Ath was, very clearly, not a happy bird.

Aysun - prentice Location by the big lizard's cage with Chandra, Korra, & Ikkio Aysun's eyes went for a moment wide when the woman with the webbed ears mentioned that the beast had acidic saliva. He starred at the creature, over at his brother, then whispered in a hushed tone, "No telling mom that I was petting that thing. She will have a fit if she heard the whole 'acid spit' thing." He told his twin, hoping that Chandra would listen to him and keep the secret. If not... well, then he'd have to sit on him and ruin his reading time forever! That or hide all his books, whichever one felt as though it would be more fun at the time. With that he turned to look over at Korra and said, "I guess we will have to wait to 'liberate' our scaly friend since it seems that his owner has arrived. A shame, huh? At least that means that he isn't all alone." He'd rather take the beast home with him but if he had an owner he knew it wasn't possible, just like he wouldn't want some random person taking any of his precious pets with them. At the same time he couldn't help but wonder if she might bring more amazing beasts with her? He gave a smile then and said, "Hey, Korra! We should ask the nice Matori lady if she is going to bring anymore Matori beasts with her, maybe some that I can draft into my animal army." He chirped, sounding as though it were the best idea ever conceived in the history of good ideas! Of course before he could do so he seemed to realize that they had company, the sort that he'd been a bit oblivious to due to the appearance of the Matori woman and her announcement about how dangerous her scaly friend could be. Good thing that he'd bought the Yaotl's affection with snacks, it had seemed to aid in it not drooling acid on him. Giving a bright smile he lifted a hand and waved it at Ikkio, "Long time no see, Ikkio." He said, then laughed, "Naw, not a friend, that there is Korra. She's my cousin. My grumpybutt brother and I are watching her for the time being while my uncles get ready for what's coming."

Rilind - knight Location: With Yaholo Post: 3(?) Rilind sighed when Yaholo apologized, saying that it was important and that he had to protect his home. Not something that he wanted to hear because that meant that this was it and that he wouldn't be backing down. There was no way to get Yaholo to leave with him since he was so determined which meant that he was going to be staying here too despite not having as much riding on the battle. Taking a step back so that he could look up at the much taller Yaholo he said, "I suppose, since you are so determined, then I will stay as well." He told him. While he didn't care about the battle he did care about Yaholo, meaning that he was going to be stuck here for the time being. "Hm?" His son was handing out supplies then? He gave a slow nod of his head, "I... guess I could do that." He wasn't really all that good with people, not really certain how to deal with them. He was especially unsure how he should act around Yaholo's sons since he didn't know a thing about them and vice versa, what if he just appeared as some stranger trying to steal Yaholo's attention? Not to mention that Ril's 'death' had caused Yaholo to leave his kids behind for a time, they may very well hate him for it. It wasn't something that made him comfortable in the least to think about so he tried to push such thoughts aside. If it went well, good, if not then he would leave the kid alone. At the mention of 'the other one' he found himself glancing around, then recalled that he had no idea what they looked like. Not as though he'd be able to spot them. Giving a shake of his head he said, "Probably best, I am not good at meeting a lot of people at once." One at a time would be a lot easier in Ril's mind.

Gyuri - Guard Location: With Viveka and the troupe Post: 4 A little jolt went through Gyuri as Borra leaned against him, his heart skipping a beat. He knew that he shouldn't be happy, not when Borra seemed to be a bit upset, but it was hard not to be when the one that he liked was so close. He was of half a mind to wrap a strong arm around him, wanting nothing more then to hug him close and reassure him. That was until the strange newcomer spoke up, gathering the attention of all of those around her. It wasn't just her voice either, her appearance as well was unlike anything that Gyuri had seen before and it threw him for a bit of a loop. The Matori tribe, huh? He found himself gladdened by her appearance, feeling as though it would help their forces out a lot, to get such reinforcements. The more hep the got the more likely it was that they would be able to come out on top this time instead of having the battle end up like the last two that their forces had been a part of. Of course all logical thought sort of went out the window when Borra mentioned wondering what the men of the Matori Tribe looked like, rather sounding... breathless? Gyuri couldn't help but to keep a bite of jealousy as he looked around, his mismatched eyes scanning the crowd for any men from Naria's tribe... and much to his relief it would appear as though there were none around. He'd liked Borra for what felt like forever, or at least ever since he'd first laid eyes on him, and he didn't want some foreign hero to swoop in on some giant, acid drooling beast, and take him back to... well, wherever it was the Matori came from. It was a a thought that had the giant's mood plummeting almost instantly and he actually found himself wrapping an arm around Borra this time, pulling him closer. He knew full well he shouldn't act possessive toward someone that was unaware of his feeling but he just couldn't help it this time. As he realized that Borra was looking at him, and speaking to him, he glanced down at him and gave him a smile and a nod, "I hope so." The sooner they won the sooner the threat of Matori heroes showing up to steal Borra would end... or so Gyuri hoped. Eira - Dancer Location: With Viveka and her troupe Post: 4 At the arrival of the strange new woman, Naria she called herself, Eira was instantly sizing her. Well, she was exotic looking, she'd give the woman that, but there were other areas where she was a bit lacking she thought to herself. Competition wise she felt that they would likely be on even ground, something that Eira didn't care for... but she had to remind herself that the Matori woman had come here to battle it out with the Oban people, not Eira. As such she shouldn't let it get to her that such a woman had appeared in the camp. Turning to glance over toward Sinny as she suddenly rushed off she shook her head, "She's an odd on." She said to Viveka, finding it amusing the way that she had gone rushing over to Makani who seemed to be happening by, "Well now, finding him was easy enough. That's good, I'd rather we not have to run around the camp like a bunch of headless kinfa trying to find him. Sinny seems to be the best at tracking Makani down, probably since they are both magic wielders. Still, I think we will be getting him a bell none the less." Gyuri and Borra were sparred a glance, with Eira looking rather amused at how thrown off his guard Gyuri was looking when Borra mentioned the Matori men. Giving a grin she said, "I am sure they are quite handsome, what do you think, Viveka?" He was with a man so she'd bet that he would have his opinion as far as the Matori men went, especially when it came to teasing Gyuri a bit, something that Eira couldn't resist doing at the moment. She loved her bodyguard dearly, but teasing him was far too fun, especially when it came to Borra who the giant followed around like a Raptrix pup. Makani - Mage Location: With Sin'qua Post: 7 It was a wave of familiar, if somewhat prickly, energy that caught Makani's attention first before he was suddenly being grabbed up in Sin'qua's hold. It was something that caused him to give a little chuckle before he said, "Hello there, Sin'qua, how are you doing?" He asked even though she seemed to be in a rather displeased when it came to him. He found himself wondering if maybe she'd seen what he'd been up? Did she seem him trying to break up a fight with his magic alone? Or the fact that he had been around yet another Oban? It was something he fretted over for but a moment before the thought was immediately quashed when she said that they were looking for him and asked him where he'd been. He seemed to think about it for a moment before he finally said to her, "Dealing with some rowdy children that were in a bit of a tussle, how about you? What have you been up to?" He asked, feeling it best not to tell her where he'd really been. He tilted his head to one side, magical energy swirling around him, before he was able to sense the rest of the troupe, as well as another familiar energy nearby. So she was with everyone else? That was good he thought to himself with a smile. "I hope that my sister hasn't been giving you too much trouble. I know that she can be quite troublesome at times when it comes to getting her way in things." Sin'qua was often stuck dealing with Eira and her whims, up to and including get an unwanted nickname from the danger. He could only hope that Sin'qua was able to deal with it.

Jacinthus - ranger Location: With Takoda and Keilana Post: 5 Jacinthus gave a little sighing sound, "And you wondered why I didn't really feel like saying anything." He said to his little sister, having known full well that she would end up shreiking at him in such a manner, sounding like a riled up mother kinfa. As if he wanted to deal with this right now when so much else was going on, "Believe me, I'd like to take a swing at the idiot as well but it will have to wait." He wanted nothing more then to give him a swift punch in the mouth... but then again that was how he always felt when he was forced to look at that idiot's face so... it was hard to tell if it was the normal desire or one brought about by Chalcedony's actions. He glanced over at Keilana then said, "Save killing him for after the battle, we might end up needing him if the scout party gets him and the others back." He told her, opening his mouth to say more... then closed it again. When she said that the boy's needed him he was of half a mind to mention that the two of them had grown up fine without any parents but he decided against it. Aysun and Chandra had been lucky, they had not one but two parents, and even if the two had no romantic relationship they were still around. It was more then what Keilana and himself had when they were younger and something he actually favored. He'd rather the twins not end up like they were. "If something happens to him they will still have you and still need you, please, Little Kei, try to keep your focus for the battle. You can murder him and bury him somewhere in Tale for all I care, just save that for after we deal with the Obans, alright?" There was a part of him that wanted to go along, to find Chalcedony himself, and give him a good beat down... but when it was stated that those who went with the scouts would be late for the battle he knew he couldn't go. His place was fighting on the front lines, dealing with the Obans and their monsters, he couldn't leave, not when this was where the whole of his family was located. Chalcedony had a tough hide, Jacin was sure the idiot would surive... at least until Keilana got a hold of him. Wrapping an arm around Takoda he pulled him close, resting his head against his shoulder for a moment as though seeking strength from him before he asked, "The twins are alright with watching Korra I take it? You made sure to remind them that she is the master of escape and getting lost in the blink of an eye, right?" It had to some form of magic that only the little Wind girl had, to be able to vanish in such a manner. If it didn't tend to worry him he might very well be impressed.

Rishima - Amazon Location: With the scout group (next post will be in the other thread) Post: 5 Rishima nodded his head, "I will be sure to tell him if he gets too underfoot. Thus far though he's has been of no bother to me." Even in their first meeting when Gerraden had been so excited about their meeting that he'd somehow dragged Rishi home with him it hadn't been so bad. The younger hybrid was just... exciteable was all. Nothing that Rishima didn't think that he'd be able to deal with. In fact it was a nice change of pace since Rishima tended to be rather serious when he was at home, wanting to always keep up a constant front of strength around all of his sisters but a select few. "You're staying behind?" Rishima asked when Vollerei was suddenly talking about staying to guard the camp. He looked around a moment at those who were going along, then back again, "Do be careful, sister." He said to her, giving her a smile before he turned his attention to the one who was giving orders. It seemed that if they went that they might be late to the battle... a sacrifice for certain but one that they would have to make if they were going to be helping those taken by the Obans, "We will see you again soon, if Aisha permits." He said, giving Vollerei a nod before looking to Jerarda and Gerraden. They were soon moving, walking along with the other members of the scout team, and he couldn't help it as his heart started to thud in his chest. This was an important mission, one that would lead them into the heart of the Oban forces, and they could only hope for the best really. Glancing between Jerarda and Gerraden he said, "Let's stick together if possible, I don't want anyone to get lost while we are there." Nor did he want for any of them to get nabbed while they were trying to free the others, it would only complicate things.

Kennet, post IDK.
Kennet lowered his spear slowly as Ruelash, Iroia, and Makani left the area and muttered a swear or two under his breath. If that blue skinned mongrel had tried anything further than what he had, Kennet would've left him with half of his brain cells to use. He gave Xilarn a sheepish look, though it became more sympathetic as Xil extended his hand. The hybrid took the hand he was given and offered the other a smile.
"Mmm, not much you can do, my dad's the reason I'm here to begin with." He said, pursing his lips. "But, yeah, it would really help your image if you offered to help, Xil. I'll be right by your side if you want to battle..."
He sighed and turned his gaze towards the camp.
"I wonder what my dad's doing right now. Last I heard a friend of ours got drunk and my dad was trying to wrangle him before he could get into trouble... Some people just can't handle the stress of war, I guess."

Bhima - post 7 (vers point!)
Bhima stepped closer to Hijil, feeling bidden even though there had been no words exchanged. It was easier for her to lower the beast from her shoulders which swiveled and tilted its head at the new person.
"Atipi," Bhima said.
Chike looked the creatures over and gave a deliberate sigh. It was an extra burden to have to care for baby birds during the battle, but perhaps it would keep her mind off of the fact that her child was once again careening headlong into war. She offered and smile and nodded softly.
"Certainly. They will be safe in here." She first retrieved a length of rope from a nearby table and lifted Atipi from her pouch. The bird did not fight, apparently more curious than offended. The Alkidike wrapped the rope around her body, beneath her wings, and set her down. Atipi gave an annoyed squawk and tried to peck at the rope, which was too high to reach. Chike turned then to the bird called Ath and pursed her lips.
"You, I feel, are going to be some extra trouble."
Bhima assisted in removing Ath, figuring that it would take all three of them to get the bird under control.
"So, tell me, Hijil. Where are you from? I have heard very little about you." All this while struggling.

Vollerei : Warrior. Location: Supply tentspost 6 (1/2) She gave the half breeds a nod of farewell and Jerarda a clap on the back of the shoulders, "Go hit a few Obans for me will you?"
Vollerei, as she hung around watching the scouts leave couldn't help but overhear one of her Sisters blatant flirting. Laughing she walked over to sling an arm about the stranger's shoulders. "Sister! You are going about this all wrong! Wait till after the battle... Then you have had time to show your competence and perhaps impress her a little. And after battle people always tend to be far more relaxed and willing to flirt! Among other things... Right now people are too focused on the battle to be receptive to flirtations." Well, except those already in relations, those may be more willing to sneak off for a few minutes of alone time.
Volle tended to stick to gorging herself on the victory feasts that followed after a battle, but others like to celebrate in different ways. Guess this one just liked to do her celebrating before hand as well!
