"What other side are you talking about? This is me and this is how I am!" Kurogane blamed the heat for his outburst. Heat almost always made him mad but he was also a bit... jumpy? Being close to her was somehow calming and he didn't know what was the cause of his mood being so ever changing. He huffed and turned to continue walking forward as he sneered. "And stop using your powers to calm me."

Stormy snarled and gave him an icey glare and said " The side you keep hiden from others, but perhaps it was only wishful thinking on my part that part of you existed." Stormy turned to the direction of her packlands and started walking in that direction before continueing " And you can go hunting on your own."

Kurogane trotted in front of her. He didn't want her to go. His body seemed to be acting against his will. He wanted... actually the black demon didn't know what he wanted. "No. Hunt with me." His look was firm but his face was clearly red and after a few seconds of looking at her Kurogane averted his gaze.

Stormy looked at him for a moment before answering him "Very well I will hunt with you on a few conditions, one could you tell me why you keep snapping at me at random times and I know it is not just the heat do you not like hanging out with me or something? secondly why are your eyes red? and lastly i wasn't useing my powers to calm you I am still drained from defending against Sera's power blast whatever you're feeling is your natural feelings."

"If I knew, I would tell you why I'm feeling this way...How would I know how I'm feeling around you when I've never been with a girl like you before?" Honestly Kurogane wasn't sure what he was saying and his face turned even more red. His heartbeat was going a mile a minute. "But we are enemies.... though we came into our respective packs after the fact. So whatever we do doesn't have any affect on the packs right?"

Stormy gave give a gentle smile and said " Well I like hanging out with you but I don't like being snapped at for no reason, as long as you behave we will get along fine and I promise not tell anyone about you're soft side, as for the packs not getting along I think us hanging out shouldn't cause any harm because we were never involved in arguement between them, in fact us hanging out may show them that they could get along too if they put forth the effort."

"Then let's go. I'm hungry." He flashed a toothy smile and began to trot away towards the where they would hunt. Kurogane felt better now that he somewhat told Stormy what was on his mind. He was sure he would get an earful later about being with her but at the moment he didn't think about it. But suppose he was kicked from his pack. He looked down as he slowed his pace to think about it. Now the demon decided to weigh his options.

Stormy nodded her head and said "Well since you know where the bigger prey is you lead the way." As they walked Stormy couldn't help but admire Kurogan's muscular body. When he slowed his pace she tought he had caught her stareing so she quickly ripped her gaze from him to the ground in front of her, but when he didnt say anything she let out a sigh of relief and went back to stareing at him. "If he hadn't slowed because he had caught her stareing then why did he slow down."

Kurogane was snapped from his thoughts when he saw a flash of gray in the corner of his eye ."Huh? Did you say something?" He honestly did not hear a thing while he was in thought. His stomach growled loudly and he figured she said something about hunting since he was leading. He thought back for a second and vaguely heard part of her sentence of ...you lead...the way. "Me lead? Okay, I know where some large prey graze during this time I can smell them. Follow me."

Stormy noticed the Kurogane was distracted by something and wanted to ask what was wrong but she decided against it. If he want to tell her he will if not it was none of her business. "May be he is disracted because he is very hungery." Neverless she continued to follow him to where the prey was.

He trotted more before he found some elk in the distance. "Hey there they are we have to get one before they move on." He realized that they were only two wolves and he had never worked with Stormy to hunt. he was not aware of her ability to execute a planned take down either. "Okay, here's what we do: one of us will scare one away from the rest of the herd and the other with stall it and then we both ambush it."

Stormy nodded her head and said " I will do the sneaking up since my coat color will be harder for them to spot." Stormy made a wide loop around the herd and crouched down and began slowly making her way to the herd. After crawling several feet she stoped and scaned the herd for the weak. After a few seconds of looking she spotted a wounded elk bull that had been badly injured from fighting for females in the herd. She crawled even closer then suddenly lounged toward the bull. Her suddden movement cause the herd to scatter. The bull tried to follow the herd but Stormy leaped in front of him causeing him to run in the other direction toward Kurogane.

Kurogane felt the ground rumble as the elk came running in his direction. He figured he would take the beast head on, but that wasn't something he wanted to waste energy doing especially on his empty stomach. He decided to run along with their prey to attack the legs, trip it up, and make the kill. He made sure to pierce its neck and make it quick so that any flailing would not cause a hoof in the gut. After making sure it was died, he barked and wagged his tail signaling for Stormy to come over and help him.

Stormy stood there panting trying to cath her breath she was low on energy due to blocking Sera's energy blast and running down prey as she caught her breath she watched Kurogane take down the elk with expert persecsion. It was all over within seconds and Kurogane gave her the all clear signal. She trotted over to the kill and slowly began to eat.

Kurogane took massive bites out of the carcass to a point that if he continued, the entire elk would be gone. He stopped himself from being so selfish and took smaller bites. "We have to get the rest back to the others," he reminded between bites. Chewing on a bone he looked at Stormy as he could tell she was winded and hungry as she ate. "Um... that was impressive... that you didn't get trampled.... You know scaring a herd like that is hazardous for anyone." His words did not come out the way he wanted at all. He was bad at this. What was it at girls would like to hear to get their attention? "Umm you... are graceful when you hunt."
