Bonnie walked with Shreoake through the corridors of the ship holding her Padd up so she could use the built in navigation system to find their way to lunch. Which... went surprisingly well. It had taken a few minuets of walking, but that had been expected, the ship seemed endless to Bonnie right now.

As she entered the Gally, she looked around. Bonnie didn't recognize many people. To be fair though she hadn't learned many peoples names down on the surface, and currently only knew three people on the ship, Doctor Sadenes, Captain Luna and Shreoake. There were people in the shuttle bay she was going to meet soon, but she didn't exactly know who they were yet. It was a little bit daunting.

Locating the line, or at least what she thought was the line of people queuing up for food, she pointed to it as she said "Over there" to Shreoake, before walking towards the trays with her room mate.

Bonnie secured a tray for herself and some silverware, a fork, knife and spoon, or at least the equivalent that the ship had to offer. Bonnie was beginning to get a hang of the Padd, she was a little jumpy about using it still, but she could navigate now, so that was something. As they started to move up in the line, Shreoake broke the silence between the two, thankfully Bonnie might add, she was beginning to think they wouldn't get much talking done, and she did like conversation even if she was pretty shy.

She smiled at Shreoake as she asked her what Lina had talked to her about in their interview. "Oh, um, I kinda got offered a job working with the shuttle bay" she said blushing a little, embarrassed about her little achievement. "If all goes well, I'll be fixing them up and keeping them in working order.. if I can understand how they work.." she added a little quieter, she was rather nervous about the whole situation of going into such an advanced job, compared to what she was used to. Still a little way away from getting served their meals for the.. day... shift... Bonnie was unsure. She asked Shreoake softly with a sweet smile "What about you Shreoake?".

Bonnie blushed and looked down a little embarrassed for a few moments as Shreoake seemed really exited about it. More so that she herself seemed to be. In truth on the inside she was jumping with joy at the chance to get the opportunity. But she was trying not to get her hopes up, just in case she failed. She smiled and said "Yeah, I just hope I don't break something..".

As Shreoake began to explain her own situation she got a sudden urge to hug the girl and tell her it was okay, she didn't... that would of been creepy. Instead she put her hand on her wrist to get her attention, or at least stop her looking down and sounding sad. "No, that's a lie" she said suddenly and clearly. "I know I have only known you a short time, but you seem really genuine and happy, you even told me how good the shower was, and you were right, within moments of arriving you pointed me in the right direction, so your already helping people... well.. me at least..." what had clearly meant to be a heart warming speech about a persons ability and usefulness within a place liek the unity had turned into a silly description of what had occurred moments ago... hopefully Shreoake would pick up on the good intentions of the speech, and not the cheesy uselessness of it. Bonnie was now rubbing the back of her head again clearly embarrassed by herself.

Bonnie nodded to Shreoake as she said about the transition between their old life, their horrible life and now their new life. She was struggling with some aspects still herself, but having the ship, and a job to work on shuttles was a great way to take her mind of things. She liked being busy. Noticing, because Shreoake pointed it out, she looked to see what they had in the way of a meal.

Bonnie almost fainted at the amount of food available! It was insane! Drooling, actually drooling! Bonnie didn't even notice, as Shreoake mentioned not knowing what to have she agreed with a muffled "Yeah.." not noticing the drool and wiping it away with her sleeve. She began to look through the selections, a little unsure of what to get. Eventually though, she ended up with Fries, A Burger and a Hotdog. Not really wanting anythign else... kind of realizing eating manically would most likely make her sick, and then she wouldn't have all of this in her stomach anymore.

She looked to Shreoake as she began to say "Just a burger and fries, oh and a ho-" but when she noticed what Shreoake had gotten, she almost jumped! "-Whoa!". She looked from the plate to Shreoake... her stomach area, then back to the Plate then back to her. "Where are you gunna put all that?" she asked, "I mean, like, your so skinny.." she said now embarrassed about her outburst, and now realizing she had mentioned Shreoake's body, "I mean, like, there's nothing wrong with a thin girl eating so much, I just.." Bonnie was babbling again... "Like, I would get really fat if i ate all of that..." her voice gradually getting quieter as she blushed, until eventually she just stopped talking.

Bonnie began to look worried too as Shreoake's expression began to change. "No no, I'm sure its fine" she said trying to comfort her new friend... room mate... Bonnie hadn't worked out which they were yet, all she knew was that there was a cute girl having a little panic attack in front of her. "No, don't put it back, its yours, come on lets find a table" she said as she took a step towards an empty table and motioned with the tray and her own head for Shreoake to follow her out of the queue.

Once out of the line of people and settled on a table of their own, she was sat next to Shreoake, the other girl was on her left side. Placing the tray down she looked to Shreoake and said "Don't worry about the food alright, its a good thing you have an appetite" Bonnie had put her hand gently onto Shreoake's shoulder to try and emphasize it was okay and not to worry. She didn't have a lot of experience in dealing with this sort of thing. Comforting people... I guess they were all going to have to get used to new things.

Bonnie nodded to Shreoake and smiled as they sort of held hands for a moment. Bonnie missed physical contact. But thankfully Shreoake and herself had other things to occupy their mind right now. Food! Bonnie had started with a few fries and taken a bite out of her burger before making her way onto the hot dog. Which did have ketchup on it. However she didn't get too far into it before Shreoake began talking and asked her a question, Turning to look at Shreoake, the hotdog and bun still in her mouth, instead of doing the normal thing and biting off what she had, she decided to finish the dog quickly, and shockingly quickly at that. Biting a little, but more like inhaling, the slipped the hotdog into her mouth whole and swallowed it down, for a moment her neck seemed to expand. She gave a sigh, her eyes watering a little and now needing a drink she nodded, still chewing a little before swallowing and saying, "Very good... I, I haven't had anything like this... for ages.." as it turned out, eating the whole thing in one go was an eye waveringly bad bad decision.

Sighing, and touching her neck for a moment she asked "Do you want anything to drink?" Bonnie offered to get Shreoake something as she got up.
