"Agh!" Helmut yelped when her nose was flicked, her eyes squeezing shut and her hands coming up to bat at her own face as if it would help the situation drastically. "I'm sorryyyyyyy!" She whined, her ears drooping unhappily in the wake of getting flicked. Not that she got much time after that to complain, since Hel became a Wendigo puppeteer.

"...Food?" It was very clear that she stopped listened after eating was mentioned, and her stomach let out a very rumbly growl as if on cue. "Foooooood~" A very wide-eyed and hopeful stare was turned towards Hel, her tiny little claws hovering near her own pale lips.

That was a...very intense stare. Amrita felt a shiver crawl up her spine, but she did her best to ignore it. Part of her considered moving her arm to let him stare again, but she was determined to be stubborn about this for as long as she could. Her sleeve remained as a shield, but for how long was anyone's guess.

"That's...sweet...but I think I'll stick with 'Lou'." She raised a brow as his waggled at her, looking a little more confused than she aught to be. Was this boil for real?! "I'm Amrita, nice to meet you!" It would have been rude to not introduce herself, but she was a little distracted with watching him pull something out of his jacket, half afraid of what she might be seeing. When he revealed a deck of cards, she was visibly relieved.

"I'd love to, but you're not getting a treat after." The Vetala smiled sweetly.

"Yes. Terra's my date, so Roch installed me on the stage here during her performance. Otherwise I would be sitting lost at a table by myself." she explained. "But it seems like a win-win, as I got to meet you." it wasn't meant to be flirtatious in the least, but it may have come off that way.

Oops.

His comment made her laugh as she offered him her plate. "Take whatever you want. I can always go get more when Terra is done. You're pulling stage-duty so I imagine it's less convenient for you to do so."

Simply was there, she'd sort of... arrived early. Bounced off at the sight of lights, and there might have been a bit of havoc caused. Nothing to draw a certain chaperone's attention. Just normal good ol' Halloween fun. And perhaps misuse of a water gun when someone went by as she was trying it out. Nothing out of the ordinary, truly!

Which was why, as the phone she'd stuffed in a location we'd leave to imagination as her dress didn't leave many spots for pockets, was pulled out as it beeped at her. A few looks were given as she toyed with the poor thing that had obviously seen better days and thus found the text. A few quick button presses and she'd sent a reply before wandering back toward the entrance to find Darren, hopefully she wouldn't be too distracted.



Because that told him so much, and that she was coming. Well hopefully he'd assume. Because she did head for the main tent, hopping a bit to try and spot the boil amongst the crowd. She did finally spot him and didn't even blink at the tux not being as sparkly and new as some. She was shiny enough for the both of them with the glitter that shimmered along the dress and the clatter of the bangles at her wrists as she literally bounced up. "There's so much to do! It's a great party!" And obviously he was going to get to enjoy it properly. No threats of head lobbing.

Unless he wanted it lobbed off of course.

He nodded at the comment as he'd been taking time to take in the wonders. Which was how he'd ended up stopping to pause on Miasma for a moment. That had ended just as quickly as she'd seemed to notice. Staring was rude. "They really did." He replied slowly, thankful it wasn't too noisy. Sure it was loud, but not head ringing annoying loud.

Still louder than any of the times he'd gone out to such events before. Yes, prom was a special unique beast. That came but once a year.

It was a bit sad she didn't know where to begin, because he wasn't entirely sure himself. There were tents for games, some odd house one of some sort, dancing, drinks and snacks, questionable beverages, and he'd even seen a tent for small minipets. There was a bit of regret he hadn't brought one of his own, but well... it would have been odd to have it along when he went to pick up Mia. Still, a decision was to be made. And by made, left to what the lovely lady wished to do. Such was the proper polite thing. He did start walking in a bit, mostly to get out of the way of others arriving at the entrance, but after admiring the work put into the stage and dance floor a moment longer he looked back to Mia before speaking. "Is there anywhere you'd like to look then? Even if it is a bit hard to decide..." They'd have time to spend in all of the various areas anyway.

He had no idea what he was doing here.

The find a date thread was something Xavier had done accidentally and now he was really starting to regret it. Not because he disliked who he was paired with (aka a ghoul he had never met before), but because he really just had no idea what he was doing and besides who would even want to go out with him anyway, this was all a big mistake, why would schools do this, force their students into this sort of situation anyway he was just going to trip and fall and smash his face open and really no he couldn't do this after all -

- oh wait there she was. Xavier coughed, shuffled forward, and tried to figure out how to go about this without sounding like a total moron and then he realized that was impossible.

"Er. Hello."

Anna just listened mutely, then - surprisingly - her eyes filled with tears, and she bent down and scooped him up, squeezing him tight. "Thank you," she whispered, flooded with relief and only feeling a little bit stupid. Just a little bit stupid. But.

(On the plus side, TG was now getting a nice view of Anna's other assets.)

"Teach me to dance?" she said, her eyes bright with both tears and a new determination. She was going to dance the hec- the hell out of this prom. Yes.

"The gnomes could have something to do with it as well..but..." Junko took into consideration who was on the new student council and smiled. The student council itself was probably behind the drinks.

"Aw, together? That's sweet! I'm just going to start with something for myself." Enough that she wasn't homeless but also not uncomfortable. There was a place in particular that looked pretty appealing right now. "Perhaps we could go house hunting together? I've never done this before, so I don't really have any idea what I'm doing," Junko said with a laugh. She perked up when Siddie mentioned something involving minipets. Ohhh? Like training them? Adorable! "That sounds fun! What will you be doing?"

Junko paused as Sammy told her things happen, just looking at her like a deer in headlights for a few seconds before relaxing again. Her smile was warm and genuine, at least. "I'm fine, really. It's just jewelry, I don't wear it very often anyway so it's not a big deal. I actually quite like this necklace." She really was fine. Junko had caught a glimpse of Seiji on the stage with the band and hadn't felt that same intense sadness and regret she had had a few months ago.

She eyed the colored drinks with curiosity. "They..seem harmless..." Perhaps one sip wouldn't hurt? She was curious what all the different colors did.

Steffani snorted softly at Spinar, letting him shake her hand and then crossing her arms over her chest. "I'm holding you to that." She warned of his promise, unbuttoning her jacket and shrugging it off. It'd get too hot with that on while dancing, though she was briefly uncomfortable with the cleavage baring top, now...

Next year? Sleeves.

Definitely sleeves.

As she turned back, someone was there! She blinked at Xavier, and then lit up with recognition. "Hi. Xavier, right?" She greeted, biting her cheek. What perfect timing. "Steffani." She held out a hand, which seemed a bit, well... Odd, but first dates didn't get hugs.

...and she wasn't certain the demon wouldn't panick at a hug from a strange ghoul.

"It's nice to meet you." She glanced to Spinar, biting her cheek hard. Oh, jack, this was perfect.

Since it was a bit difficult for Alexander to really reply to the witch given his current state of muteness, Belladonna was doing her very, very best to be patient. Which, considering how she was quite heavily gifted in such departments, it wasn't all that much of an effort. Which meant she was perfectly content to just stand there idly twirling her parasol between her hands as she stared at each boil. At least until someone called her name.
Someone the witch adored enough that when she whirled around, it didn't much matter if she almost whacked someone with her parasol. Thankfully she didn't, but with a happy bounce Belladonna bounded over to Hel only to pause before her and gawk quite openly.
"Wooooooooow! You look way hot in that. I thought you would do a dress but you look fantastic!" Would it be inappropriate to smush her face into Hel's boobs in public?

Thankfully, such actions were totally removed from thought as a teeny, tiny little fluffy thing was pushed toward the witch. For a moment the witch tilted her head to one side to stare down at the ghoul who was not very loud and apparently was full of snot and prone to nibbles. But after another moment of consideration, the witch slid a careful but warm smile across her face. She leaned down a little so that she could better speak to the ghoul over the noise of the music.
"Hello Mut, it is wonderful to meet you. My name is Belladonna Divine, or I suppose you could call me The Highwire Ballerina, but just for tonight." Here she winked at the ghoul, grinning brighter. "And you look completely clear of snot to me."
