Claude felt a p***k of annoyance, mostly at himself for being so distracted that he forgot to close the doors. Eyebrows twitching he asked "Tell me where we can bury her."
"She's not dead." Sebastian replied.
Claude let his dance partner go. "Of all the..." An exasperated sigh, ".....We should probably put her on the chair." He brushed his hair back, he was warm from dancing, his face flushed with having been caught.

With his mood ruined, Claude huffed. ""If you would excuse me Mr.Michealis." He left the room feeling a little frustrated and a little embarrassed.
He, himself, would not question it if he'd seen her kissing her lover, it wasn't his business, but house servant weren't allowed to have lovers or get married with-out the master's permission.

Claude had retried to his room for the night, wanting a bit of privacy before he turned in.
His assigned bedroom wasn't as roomy as Sebastian's was. yet it was at least a room he wasn't sharing with anyone.
Claude had spruced up the space a little, cleaning it thoroughly, hanging a small curtain on the window, sanding the all rough edges on the wooden furniture.
The days events had left him both tired and and frustrated, sleep would help him revive his energy and resistance.
Resistance indeed He thought bitterly to himself. He didn't know why he hesitated when the opportunity was presented to him to claim the other demon.
With out May-rin's interruption who knows what they might have done.
Claude lay on the narrow bed, dressed in his night shirt, his hand fingered the hem as his mind went back to how utterly delicious Sebastian looked when aroused.

What the hell was that?
Claude was already opening his door And was walking the short distance down hall of the servants wing still in his night shirt and slippers.
Seeing smoke come out of the kitchen alarmed him. he looked past the broken door. "What happened here?"
The kitchen was a complete mess, everything was covered in dark soot.

His eyebrow rose in a quizzical expression. "Dynamite?" He looked around. "It is an unorthodox method of cooking.....Do you want me to help?" Claude asked.

It only took a moment for Claude to get dressed and covered himself in an apron before helping with the clean up.
In an hour later, the kitchen was nearly spotless once again, every bit of grime was washed away, the table that was blown to bits cleared away and broken wood set on the firewood pile.
Claude pulled off the thick cleaning gloves. "Your patience is admirable, Mr. Michealis, I wouldn't have the same patience if I had to do this on a weekely basis."

Again temptation rose in him to try his luck with Sebastian again. But he quailed it quickly, It was apparently not his night tonight. He bid him a goodnight and left for his room.

The garden was full of blossoming flowers of an early morning springtime, The two butlers where carefully clipping a few choice blooms to decorate the manor with.
Sebastian put one of the flowers to lips and breathed it's scent deeply before reaching over and tucking in the buttonhole of the other man.
Claude smiled. "For me?"
Sebastian merely smiled. Claude had to smirk. "This is very dangerous you know.....what if we get caught?"
"I don't care."
Claude turned to his lover. "If you don't care then come with me, We can be together forever My love."
"But Claude...you know that I can't leave bocchan alone."
"I need you." Claude said, pulling him close. "I don't care what Bocchan says, As long as I get to be near you."
With those passionate words the handsome butlers shared a forbidden kiss amid the flowers.

May-rin giggled as he finished writing the paragraph and put the book back under her pillow, checking that her maid's uniform was correct, left her bedroom to begin her day's work.

Claude was already awake and had started breakfast cooking. The other house servants where in the kitchen gathered around the new kitchen table drinking Claude's coffee.
"Good Morning Mr.Michaelis. " Claude said politely.
At the table Mey-rin blushed, trying to hide her red face.
Fortunately for Claude the maid hadn't mentioned anything of the night before. Bardroy avoided catching the eye of their 'boss from hell' Finny, of corse was his usually happy self. Tanaka drank tea.
