Greator was circling above the tank, having rounded up Ryuu to help him with things. Ryuu bonked Dawn's good side gently, nonetheless helping to knock her over from his great size. giving Devlin a baleful glare that seemed to indicate he'd better not try anything to him since Ryuu was at least twice as big as most mountain lions, and fairly intelligent to make a pretty unnatural animal. sticking his head under Dawn's back, he tried to get her to ride on him, his tail and leg dragging from their own paralyzed condition. one of Vera's feet twitched "f***" her voice could be heard a few minutes later. scootching as much as she could on her uninjured parts of her body was was able to peek out from the plate that covered her whole body and saw Devlin with the rope "that won't be enough...it might not even be enough for the plate on top of me, though with that thing it could work" she said, the fighting light gone from her eyes as she returned to her more regular self, though not quite as shy or subservient as she usually acted. now she just sounded tired, weary and used to fighting, polite with still holding her resilient spirit and iron will. she just lay there under the plate, smiling as Greator came over her nuzzle her head "dammit Greator that hurts....i've got a headache you shixzt" she told him, her voice wonr out but sounding satisfied. noise made her attempt to whirl her head around though it made more of a sluggish flop that made her groan from aching all over now, feeling useless. her eyes widened slightly as she noticed the other crap going around them, and squinted them shut a few times to open them again and look around. Greator cheeped at her, and she saw images of what he had seen float temptingly through her mind. she couldn't see them as clear as normal, their link weaker with both their condition and health in tatters on her part and wearing thin on his "how did i not SEE all this s**t?" she whispered, coughing more blood at the shrapnel still inside her "dammit....this s**t hurts. whatinell IS this?" she said, managing to pull out a piece under the slight curvature of the plate to bring out a piece of the missile dripping her blood with her left hand as she looked at it curiously
(heh, she didn't notice cuz she saw the dragon blade and practically did a controlled berserk reaction....until she REALLY berserked and went nuts trying to kill the things XD and you would have been looking at the plat with maybe her feet sticking out like in the Wizard of Oz....and that's it XD lmao...BIIIIIIIG plate of armor. and why the decades comment, he like her or something?? XD if only because she fights like nuts? THAT would be frickin' hilarious)

A--Minty_Fresh--Mint After watching Troa deal with the metal monster with his seemingly endless array of weapons, Maiara observed the newest events unfold with obvious confusion. And before she knew it, Cam was at her side while they both watched Haikimaru play around with this mystery girl. Holding back a growl growing in her throat, she agreed with the redhead, even if she didn't quite know what a 'harem' was exactly. Maiara could guess though. She couldn't help but be a little peeved, especially since she already shared his affection with Cam. Maybe this open relationship deal wasn't going to work out. "I go look around." She told him in a grumble, but her voice hinted that she didn't quite want to go alone. "You come? Or you watch this?" The fox asked Cam, glancing back at the two before settling her eyes on Troa. Not waiting for Cam to answer; if he wanted to come, he could catch up easily, Maiara ventured over to the white haired janitor. "I go investigate, you come too?" The spirit warrior asked him as well; the more the merrier. And safer.((@Crimson: You can blame me xP The monster looked pretty metal looking in my opinion)) Troa nodded his head as he landed, snapping his fingers to shatter the ice wings. "Yeah, I'll go with ya. I don't wanna leave you alone, with that wound on your side." He said, nodding to her side that she healed. He knew well enough that it would hold, but the insides were a different story. "Lead the way, I'll follow you and support you as much as as I can." He said with a shrug. "Summin tells me though afterwords isn't gonna be pretty." He added with a sigh. ((No not blaming you XP and sorry for the shitty post. I've been having one hell of a week so I've been gettin pretty bad writers block lately -_- ))

Plus Devlin finds the potty mouth amusing to no end.) Devlin looked at her quizzically an eyebrow disappearing into his hair. Frowning under his mask for a moment he looked first to his tank then to the steel towing cable and winch it was attached to. "Why miss you haven't been around humans that much have you?" he simply asked/stated "How many tonnes would that be?" he asked gesturing to the beast that partially covered her. before sighing and unsheathing his sword coating it in life-force from the earth instead of those around causing a small dead spot were nothing would grow for a short while frowning for a moment he walked over to the beast and looked over it for a moment before smiling in delight and stabbed through a portion between the armor plates of the beast to widen a hole for the chainhook to find purchase. Hooking the heavey duty steel cable into it and making sure it was fastened securely he looked dead on at the girl and gave a green even though the mask obscuring his face. "While the t-90 isn't a recovery vehicle I'm sure it would be able to move something....Biological...even if it hasn't been recorded into readings I'm familiar with." he stated almost depressed by how 'out of the loop' he was in most things supernatural/magical besides his own talents and his ever growing family.

(no...only a single plate is covering her, but it's enough to almost completely hide her body underneath it XD)
Vera blinked, looking dizzy as she swayed and dropped the piece of metal, unable to keep herself up solidly "no, only emissaries...im from the Windsoar mountains. and these are supposed to stay on the lower reaches..." she frowned as Greator alternated chirping at her worriedly and making scathing remarks in Lesser Dragon towards Devlin that she blush at "GREATOR....behave" she told him, sounding mild and worn out, her strangely harmonic voice rough yet still clear and strong despite being slightly faint from fatigue and pain "i think....i remember an idiot got stepped on and the rest of them freaked out at the pulp...some even literally turned green and lost their last meals..." Vera said aloud, just laying back so she wouldn't move so much. closing her eyes, she kept talking to keep her mind off of the fact she could feel her blood pool around her from the wounds made by the shrapnel. Greator shivered, having a problem that he felt embarrassed to take care of. opening one eye Vera nodded over to the beast "sixth plate from the second shoulder, on the opposite side of the metal rope thing..." she told him. the spot mentioned was at a balanced spot that would help with the end result. Greator chirped and turned a darker green as he wobbly flew over and crouched at the spot. then there was steam and an acrid smell like burnt hair and hot metal burning oil....basically, Greator just crapped a hole that melted through the armor of the beast in a place that would add strength with another cable. hiding behind the steam, Greator bolted to hide underneath Vera's hair as she weakly chuckled, coughing up more blood. she scratched his scales with her left hand before letting it flop back down "there, that should help....use another metal rope and maybe another one of those metal things, and it shouldn't be a problem....20 ton?" she hazarded a guess, her head hurting too much for any more thinking as she passed out again

Devlin looked back and forth between the beast and the tank smiling and almost immensely glad he wore gasmask and gloves for occasions like these "Shouldn't be much of a problem considering..." he pointed at the tank over his shoulder "That has this dead hoop a joop by forty tonnes" he said chuckling. as he slowly began to loop the other cable int he hole greater...kindly created for him. with that he wiped his gloves off on the beast and ground making sure they were clean before he pressed the side of his mask by his ear. "Right Cody heave away!." he shouted into his com the tank com, plied quickly roaring to life in all of it's fury releasing gout's of black smoke from the exhaust as the treads began to move unleashing a almost unholy clanking noise as they moved.
letting out a wistful sigh he looked down at the girl under the beast and smiled under his mask "Be great full the tanks on grass and dirt instead of a road... makes quite the racket, same as the tank being airdropped." he grimaced for a moment. then muttered something along the lines of "My stomach wasn't the same for a year after that stunt."

So Many Characters In One Place...
Preventing any sort of snappish comment, Andrew was surprised to see Icarus land, but was far more surprised by the slyph's words. Why would all the creatures retreat? Feeling that something must have happened, perhaps a goal or something was reached, he listened to Rina with an absolute nod. Any sort of accomplishment made by the monsters would be bad news for the school. He moved willingly and quickly toward the spot he was hopeful Bellatrix remained; In the best of all worlds, his younger sister would have found her way to the location as well. However, he was mentally bracing for any sort of terrible news.
At her roommate's consisent shout and rants, Aurora was finally able block out the curses, and instead focused on making sure the girl stayed alive. Her gaze found Dawn, and worry washed over her expression as she realized why the girl wasn't moving very well. However, it seemed the mountain lion made the best companion. His helpful actions, added to Greator's, was sure to keep the group safe, if only for awhile longer.
With the assisstance of Ryuu, Dawn was able to reaturn to her sister, very little feeling left in her side. Sighing heavily, as she'd willingly admit to anyone that tonight was her worst, she sat beside Vera, an eyebrow raised as the girl awoke from her short period of unconciousness with yet another vulgar term. She watched the exchange between the half-elf and teacher, a small smirk present as she listened. Grateful that Delvin had helped the girl she voiced so aloud, standing as she knocked out again. "Thank you sir." Bending to evalute Vera, she decided that with her sister's help, they could carry the girl back to thier room; or the health ward.
Her expression still one of complete confusion, Bella shook her head, replying quietly. "Not a clue." She continued watching the busy scene as her mind rushed to understand. She'd spoken to Len, yelled at him even, and now he may be dead or dying. Biting her lip with guilt she went past the thought, focusing on what thier conversation had held instead. Reed was alive in a new form. The girl had shouted about the power of Reed... "I lied." she started, her voice matter of fact as she continued, feeling the need to talk for distraction. "I do have an idea...I think-" Cutting off for a breath, she found the best way to proceed without an accusation or labeling, instead choosing to use a thoughtful and hypothetical sense. "-that perhaps Reed is alive and very much at the center of tonight's events."

※The Gang Is All Here...
Following behind Andrew as he moved in a seemingly random direction, she sincerely hoped he knew where he was going. He was moving quickly, and while normally she would have been able to keep up, she fell farther and farther behind him as the pain in her ankle became more insistent. It was definitely sprained, if not worse; with her face contorted slightly in pain, she continued to follow Andrew without voicing any sort of complaint. He seemed to be looking for someone, though for who the Sylph did not know. When she lost his back through the trees, her frown deepened. "Andrew, please slow down." there was no trace of a whine in her voice, as she had tried very hard to keep it out; she did, however, sound almost choked.
With his arms still wrapped firmly around his girlfriend, the spirit frowned at the sadness in her voice. He wanted to say that it would be alright, but he wasn't totally sure of that himself. He continued to hold her, his arms both firm and gentle as they surrounded the princess. He continued to pet her hair soothingly, his forehead moving to rest on the top of her head. "I believe that it will turn out alright in the end." he tells her, sounding more confident than he felt.
Nodding to accept her first response, the redhead's eyes shifted about the scene; he was pleased to see that both Pyry and Mizuki seemed unhurt, and Cam was moving away from the main event after a girl he did not recognize. At his companion's words, he turned his head to look at her in mild surprise. Lied about what, exactly? He listened carefully to her next words, brows rising in surprise as she explained. He had heard rumors of Reed, but all had concluded that he was very much dead. "Alive? Are you sure?" he asked, his brow furrowing in confusion. He wasn't doubting her, exactly, but he was very much confused.

So Many Characters In One Place...
Stopping at the sound of Rina's request, he turned quickly to study the slyph. He almost slapped a hand to his forhead, feeling guilty for having forgotten her pained and injured ankle. Back tracking to her position, his brow furrowed in worry as he spoke, his arm moving so that his hand could rest on her waist. Being completely unsure if the princess would be alright with him assisting her, he took the time to speak, "Rina, let me help you." He hadn't meant for the tone to sound so hard, but it had as his worry grew. Afraid that if she kept walking her injury would only worsen, he bent enough to take hold of her legs before lifting her body up and allowing her waist to rest on his shoulder. Assuming that if she objected to the help, she would be able to wriggle out, he continued walking, rather surprised by how light she felt after seeing how fierce she could be.
Still holding her arms across her stomach, Bellatrix nodded in answer to his question. Len wouldn't have lied about such a fact, that much she was very sure of. It was latter part of her forming idea that held no garuntee, thus, when she spoke again, it was with a voice of uncertainty. "Yes. But I do have a thought of doubt concerning the girl." She was, of course, reffering to Ginny, the last person to be in physical contact with the man. She had spoken oddly, and raised a red flag with the woman's mind. Something was wrong, and she knew the young girl had a strong tie with the music teacher; the very man she wanted to question. Resisting, as now was no time for accusations, she simply tore her gaze from Amelia, and rested on Adney, her own question being asked. "What are your thoughts?"

※The Gang Is All Here...
Pleased that he seemed to stop and wait for her, she raised a brow as he turned to walk toward her. His hand went to her waist, and she very nearly blushed at his touch. She frowned slightly at his hard tone, opening her mouth to object when she found herself hanging over his back. She crossed her arms, letting out an irritated huff of breath as she watched the scenery behind him. "I just wanted you to slow down a little." she objected, though she made no move to escape. Surely she was heavy enough that he would have to set her down soon, right? "Please put me down?" it came out more as a question than she intended, and though she was plenty capable of wriggling free, she didn't want to land face first on the ground. "Being carried like this is embarrassing." with her butt in the air, she didn't quite see how this was a respectable position at all.
Nodding in agreement to her statement about the girl, the drama teacher turned to face the other teacher. "The girl is very suspicious... I've met her before, and she's quite.... odd." that was the best, and most polite, word he could come up with to describe her. "I think if we find out more about the girl, we're bound to uncover a few more interesting things..." he dropped off, turning his head back towards the area where Len and Ginny had disappeared. Something bigger than what they had seen had happened, though he couldn't be sure of what.

▬Yuri § Solotov▬ Yuri was taking off guard when Lillie was pushed into him, but his immediate reaction was to wrap his arms around her and hold her in a protective hug. Resting a hand on the back of her head, the Elf tried his best to calm his fiance down, at least to quieten the sobs. "Shh, it'll be alright Lillie. Mr Richardson can pull through this, he's going to be fine." He whispered to her, although a small strand of doubt hit his thoughts in the corner of his mind. Of course, Len wasn't VP for no reason, but to survive a wound that potentially fatal? To Yuri it'd be a miracle and a blessing and everything, but he couldn't force away that slither of worry that told him not to be so optimistic. "Just stop Yuri, no more thinking. I'm sure Lillie's stressed enough that she was the one to injure him, you don't need to accidentally let slip that you aren't certain he'll survive this." He told himself, the last thought he gave to all of this before closing his eyes, keeping Lillie as close to him as possible to offer some sort of comfort.

Lillie only continued to sob. She couldn't tell Yuri what else she was thinking. What if she hurt someone else that she cared about or anyone for that matter. What would she do without Yuri, her brother, her uncle, cousin, mom, Tritch, Maxwell, Danny, Droh, Nyuu, Ren, Abby, Crave, or Mizuki. They were all so special people to her. What if just one of them was gone just one. She had already hurt her friend, Tritch, last time someone took over her body and her father had already meet his fate. It seemed to her that it was easy for someone to take over her body. She did buck up just a small bit when her fiancee said he would survive. Lillie had to make a choice live with the knowledge that she killed her father or protect the others she loved. "What if I said I don't want to get married anymore?" She asked Yuri.

Still fuming a bit from Haikimaru, she gave a slight smile to smile man. It did help that the redhead was coming along too. It seemed he didn't really care to see the purple fox engaged with another girl. Anyways, she had two handsome, strong men accompanying her. It shouldn't matter. Her eyes narrowing, she told herself it didn't matter. Maiara was never the emotional sentimental type, what was wrong with her? Everyone's an animal deep down anyways, right? "I fine, thank you." She reassured both of them gruffly, facing them now as they had ventured a bit of a distance. The spirit warrior was a bit surprised the two of them seemed to be quite concerned about it; she wasn't sure if she should feel flattered or offended.
Things just seemed to be in total chaos, and Maiara wasn't sure what to do, and neither did her fox spirit, Wayra. She felt like she was just leading them towards nothing. Feeling a little lost, she turned back to face them, her arms crossed, and her eyes glancing between the two of them. Did they even know each other yet? "Which way we go? I know not." It appeared an important teacher was injured, but she wasn't sure if she was supposed to get mixed in with that. Many of the monsters seemed to have disappeared as well.

Accepting her gruff response, the redhead smirks faintly in amusement. He hadn't meant to offend the little fox, but he had forgotten about her injury and wanted to check on her. He made a small mental note to keep an eye on her, she didn't seem the type to admit being in pain, and glanced at the other man that would be accompanying them. Cam didn't know the janitor, but it didn't much matter; they would be working together with the little fox, and that was all he needed to feel the camaraderie. He gave a short nod to Troa, one of greeting, before looking back to Maiara at her question. "I say we follow them." he turned to look back at the monsters, some which were still retreating and were within sight. "I'd like to find out where they came from." his eyes narrowed faintly as he stared at them, wanting to get moving now while they were still in sight. "And they could really show us something interesting." he turned his eyes back on the other two, shrugging quickly. "But it's up to you guys." he brushed off his serious manner, his small smirk returning to it's proper place on his face.

"Let go now." Maiara said quickly, watching his usual smirk she had become quite familiar with It seemed she had picked up the two men on campus who smiled the most. Although white haired janitor seemed a bit down at the moment. She couldn't blame him though, but the observation gave her a moment of amusement. It was a great idea, going after the creatures, it felt like an obvious choice. Perhaps where the monsters were headed they would find the source. They could squash this battle scene before it got worse.
Abandoning her sour look, the spirit warrior gave a small hint of a smile before she turned to face the direction of the fleeing monsters, ready to go. The creatures were barely visible as they ventured further and further away, but their smell was just a strong. She was sure, even if they got out of sight, Maiara could use her nose. This monster hunt was quite the bright idea and it garnered a bit more respect for the redhead. Pursuing these monsters would keep her mind off her growing displeasure with the purple fox as well. Curious now, she felt a bit antsy to see if smile man would come along as well, she did hope he would.

still blacked out, Vera nonetheless still heard the tank and Devlin's words, though as if from a distance. she moved her mouth to reply and found she felt like stone, unable to move or participate in the events she could dimly sense. only her link through Greator remained bright in her mind's eye, and she remembered something her adopted father had said it's more than a link as you think about it and commonly read about it. it's almost like since you're not a full dragon, he'd decided to be your emissary to strange ones, if only to show you're of the right blood not to eat or kill unnecessarily. your souls are linked, and if it's strong enough, and you're compatible enough, you might even be able to switch bodies. but i have only read of a few dracomancers able to do that, and they were in full control of their arcane magic that was specially for such a thing. and even less of those were with wyverns, known to be the most disagreeable and, well, moody of the Dragonkin. so, it's up to you to see he had said, bluntly as was his way but also gently since he knew how much it had distressed Vera she could never be completely one of them. as these thoughts ran through her mind her back itched, and she was annoyed she couldn't move to scratch it. then she felt something rub against her and her sigh of relief was a barely audible whisper of breath between her lips as Greator rubbed against her back. talking to him mind-to-mind in Lesser Dragon, she was unaware that as close as they had gotten, the energies and blood shared between them, that a growling version of her voice also issued from Greator's direction as he moved around and chirped and cheeped as they spoke. this deeper and rougher version of her voice nonetheless held the absolute haunting of her voice's timbre, as if the rumble of rocks had mixed with the graceful sounds of falling water and wind through the trees and grass, a beautiful compelling wild sound that made everyone think of tree-surrounded clearings and hot summer days by a cool pond or lake, everything green and healthy and crisp, full of life. it was enchanting all on its own, a song of life and promise for survival of strong things, compelling as it pulled the soul like a siren's song pulling the body and mind
feeling strengthened as those affected by the drool would find themselves able to feel their limbs again a bit, Ryuu seemed amazed as he shook his head. nonetheless steadier than before, he moved the semi-paralyzed Dawn over to her sister before dragging his leg and tail with the rest of him to shove against the single large plate of detached armor to try to get it off of Vera. grunting and huffing, he glared at Greator who merely cheeped merrily before Vera's fully draconic version of her voice issued from his body again dlathi ne-tayai scorrol tlanth... she said through Greator, and sweeter-sounding tongue than what Greator spoke and she had previously used for cursing. it was Elder, a language said to be lost to the times of the First Dragons that which all Dragon, if not many more, languages was born from, full of grace and power. it was the tongue of the greatest dragon spells, and she spoke it with strong ease, it's very beauty helping the paralysis from the ugly beasts disappear that much more readily. Greator seemed amazed, and nearly crashed into the ground in his confusion as he swung his head around to his mistress, his eyes wide. then they changed to a silver and Greator shook himself "what's the matter...?" Vera's regular voice asked, though her lips didn't move "why's everyone staring...? and could someone please get this damned heavy and thrice-cursed plat off my leg...?" she asked, sounding tired of everything
(it's only ONE PLATE OF THE ARMOR....it's just HELL OF BIG. only ONE beast, the one you're hauling, and the PLATE from a DIFFERENT BEAST)
