No entry for me.....the metagame is too meta to be real pokemon (imo), and I never did like the whole crippling overspecialization thing that goes on.
I will cheer loudly, however...in fact
I SHALL CHEER WITH THE FORCE OF A THOUSAND EXPLOUDS

I appreciate the support. smile
I'll let you know how it goes... as the battles have officially started a few hours ago. ninja
EDIT: We're off to a good start; my first opponent was some guy from Peru, and he fell pretty decisively:
-Opponent sent out Landorus and Darmanitan, facing my Zoroark (illusioned as Mienshao) and Eelektross -Zoroark used U-Turn to swap out for Haxorus, which took the brunt of Darmanitan's Flare Blitz. Landorus used Substitute to make a copy while Eelektross blasted Darmanitan with Thunderbolt, knocking it out (Life Orb took a little of Eel's HP as cost) -Opponent sent out Gothitelle, who used Psychic on Eelektross, leaving it near fainting. Haxorus used Rock Slide, which broke Landorus' Substitute, allowing Eelektross to deal heavy damage with Flamethrower. Landorus' Rock Slide combined with Life Orb damage to leave Eelektross with only 6 HP left -Haxorus used Outrage to take out Landorus, and Eelektross took down Gothitelle with Flamethrower, falling itself from Life Orb damage. -Sent Zoroark back out (illusioned as Mienshao again), while Opponent sent out Druddigon. Zoroark damaged it some with Night Daze, then Haxorus's Outrage finished it off, ending the match.
mrgreen
(I probably won't do many play-by-plays like this, but if they're epic enough, I'll share 'em)

Geez... it's rough in there... I've been alternating between getting fairly decisive wins to getting my a** handed to me... and the connection died a handful of times when I would've won the match (one time as it was about to send the results to the server), nullifying the match and omitting from my Rating score...
About 40 matches in, and my battle ranking is roughly at the 1500 mark... which is just about the starting point. sweatdrop A couple more days to see if I can bring it up.

I believe I speak for everyone when I say...
...F-ING WIFIs, HOW DO THEY WORK?
But honestly, that really blows, as far as the wifi cutting out on you at the WORST of times. As for getting your butt handed to you, I have 3 things to say:
1-The RN god must be displeased, you should try sacrificing some zubats to it 2-Powergaming munchkins be powergaming munchkins, nothing you can do but ignore them (or beat the crap outta them and prove them wrong) 3-No really, try that zubats thing. Gods love zubats, otherwise there wouldn't be so dang many of them!
GO RED!

And so it ends.
I battled a total of 65 recorded battles, and I won more of them than I lost. That said, I still didn't break out of the 1500 range, so I'm guessing my final rank will be somewhere in the middle.
The official results are going to be announced on November 1, at which time I'll let you know how I placed.

Cool! Still sounds like you did pretty good. Was it intense? I know PvP can get like that sometimes...=/

Yeah, it was. There were a number of close calls and near misses, but there were definitely exciting battles.
In one of them, it came down to one final move, between my Haxorus and opponent's pokemon (I forget the exact breed). My Haxorus was faster, but it was also confused and had low HP left, so it came down to dumb luck: Either the Earthquake I ordered would win it, or the confusion would leave me open to the final blow...
I lost that one sweatdrop

Aww I'm sorry! D=
Stuff happens though. I actually battled a friend of mine at my school the other day (although it wasn't really a full battle, it was just so he could test his cheat codes! XD) It was in SoulSilver and my best team is in White, so I basically just threw all I had at him. He only used one Pokemon, his Arceus, and I used my favorite (and best) Giratina. He couldn't even attack me because all of his moves were Normal-type and Giratina is part Ghost. =D
I didn't gloat, but I was rather proud of myself there. ^^

Good job Red...! Competitive pokemon battling looks really really crazy. Have you SEEN all those sites with all the crazy attentive-to-detail builds on them? Daaayum. I try and use them myself but it boggles the mind after a while 8D
I havent played a couple of months but last time I was in the process of EV-training a few pokes...

I think part of the problem for me was that some of my team weren't fully EV trained (Zoroark, Eelektross, Mienshao, and Archeops were, but Haxorus and Simipour weren't, since they were originally in my Storyline team), but a big issue was item selection. I should've given Life Orb to Mienshao since its U-Turn could've offset the damage combo'd with the Regenerator ability (for one example)
Rocket, btw, I still have the Zorua egg I bred for you from a while back.

Ahh! I was just thinking about that some weeks back. I believe I still have the Pokemon you wanted too...wasn't it a Pansear?

Yeah, Pansear will do.
So we just need to arrange the trade itself.
