Irvine slipped back out the door, pushing it open to allow Neo to follow if he wanted to. He sat down on the porch and took off his hat, placing it carefully beside him. "The possibility of fixin' yer sight makes it worth it?" he questioned, searching his duster.

Neo followed Irvine out onto the porch, sitting down abruptly when he heard what the Deejarne had said. "W-what do you mean?"

"Neo, Ah'm a sniper. Can't hide much from me," Irvine explained simply, frowning at his seemingly futile search. "Gotta memorize everythin' 'bout a person just in case Ah ever need to find 'em again."

"Oh... What're you looking for?" Neo wondered, watching the sniper become more and more frustrated the more he looked for whatever it was.

"Nothing," Irvine huffed. Somehow, he knew he'd never find his customary cigarettes in one of the pockets of his duster, but it had been worth a shot. He sighed and leaned back on his hands, watching the sun set.

About an hour later, Irvine was startled from his thoughts by a significant weight crashing into him. "Oof!" He felt arms wrap around his shoulders and smiled. "Well, hello darlin'. Yah know, there are more pleasent ways of gettin' someone's attention," he drawled playfully as he felt his hat being stolen.

"Pervert," Plushi scolded playfully. She reluctantly released her hold on the Deejarne and placed his hat on her head. "What're y'all doin' out here?" she drawled in a fair imitation of Irvine.

"Yeah, I saw all the little ones," Plushi grinned. "They're so cute! Me? I'm lookin' for Seifer... I was gonna take him to see LC and then... well..." Plushi laughed. "I have to go bail Loki out of jail. Again."

"Loki?" Irvine questioned, putting his hat back on and leaning back on the railing of the porch. It was surprisingly nice out, not too hot. Just perfect to sit out here and enjoy the scenery.

"Yeah," Plushi sat down on the steps, figuring on waiting for Seifer to appear instead of trying to look for him. "Loki's... a..." she paused, trying to find the right word. "A friend, I suppose. More like an annoying brother. He's a love-sick teenager with a bunch of issues and a dislike for clothes."
