He easily managed to avoid the first dirt clod, and lifted his left hand away from his lightsaber hilt to direct the second away from him.
'Through knowledge, I gain power over ignorance.'
His eyes narrowed as he came up in a kneel, extending his left hand toward the second hedgehog and applying the energies of the Force to freeze it in place.
The dark side is at work here.
He spared a glance to the downed beast, but would make no attempt to search its mind until he was sure of the stasis effect on the other.

The hedgehog he tried to put into stasis, froze in place. It couldn't move. The other hedgehog, though, looked at him angrily.

Bolt As the ninja's energy was being absorbed, he laughed, "Interesting. He didn't mention this." From both sides of Keioko, three shuriken each came at her neck. Out of the bushes on both sides were two more ninja. Both were unique, yet uniformly dressed in black garb like the first ninja. One was a large man, obviously not human, with a body that seemed to made of rock. The second new-comer had eyes that glowed white. He moved, but the odd thing about him was how his movement let out no sound, and his presence could not be detected by smell. They each had their names written on their back, unlike the first. The rock-ninja was called, "Golem", and the one with the glowing eyes was called, "Spectere". Spectere said to the one caught in Keioko's... ooze... "Well, Cobra, good job getting caught." The ninja called Cobra was soon comletely drained of his life energy, and he soon fell limply to the ground. Keioko quickly ducked under the shuriken and they passed by each other harmlessly. She straightened up and looked at the two other ninjas who'd come into Kei's view.
"What do you want?" She asked them in a calm voice, having been rejuvinated by the energies of the first ninja "Cobra".

Spectere seemed to be the talker. "We are here for your friends. He was supposed to kill you, but it seems that he failed." He motioned to Cobra, now dead.
Then, he folded his arms and looked at her, cooly, "They are on their way. When they get here, they have a surprise in store for them. And as for you... we can;t have you interfering now, can we."
With a wave of his hand, a thick fog filled the area. Spectere, able to hide his scent and sound, was now completely invisible. The other, Golem, could be easily sensed.

Keioko sighed softly with irritation and remained where she was, remembering not to panic. She'd been outnumbered before, by demons, and she could handle herself.
"I just wanted a bath!"
That, however, she allowed to escape.

The sound of Spectere's laughter floated through the air.. it was as if it came from all directions.
Meanwhile, there were numerous tripwires between Kane and Bolt. When hit, kunai would fly out in the direction of the wire. Bolt touched one barely and stopped in his tracks, "KANE!"

Satisfied that the stasis would keep the other one secured for the time being, he deactivated his lightsaber and reattached it to his belt, then turned to the other hedgehog.
Now, my friend, it's time to find out what's got you so ornery.
He knelt down next to the fallen beast and closed his eyes, laying his right hand on its massive head. Reaching deep into the Force, he touched Bastila's essence, gathering the calm and loving sensations and sent them to the downed creature through the Force.
There is no passion, there is love.
At the same time he was attempting to calm the beast, he was also reaching for the streamer of the dark side that he could sense inside it, attempting to follow it to its source.
He was almost certain that there was a Sith presence on this world. And that was bad news for everybody involved.

"Seriously, that's all I came out here to do and I get ambushed, it's like I've got a bounty on my head or something..."

The hedgehog.. the only tendril of the dark side that was there was there by it's own will. It was a hatred for Revan for what he had done earlier. For cutting it down while it was on it's way to the hedgehog's nesting ground. Nesting ground?
Spectere laughed, again, and replied in an empty voice, "I am unaware of such a bounty. Cobra was hired to kill you, and I was hired to kill the beastly one with your group. Golem was hired to kill the other guy with the straw hat."

"Who hired you?!" She shouted out in no particular direction

(( Gah I've fallen behind again. Sorry guys. ))
At this point in time Killey had awaken. He was laying face down in some brush and he had a horrible head ache. Reaching bad he felt the large bump atop his head. He groaned loudly as he stood up, apparently he was hit in the head and knocked unconscios. He checked his possesion, and beside from his hat on the ground before him, nothing was missing.
A tidal wave of anxiety came over him. That is when he realized he couldn't remember why he was here in the first place. The last thing he could remember was leaving his hometown to find some legion of warriors. Suffering from a concussion his voice was groggy as he called out to whomever may be around,
"Hello, is anybody there?" He paused and called out again, "Anybody?!"

He made a sound like that a parent would to their child, "tsk, tsk... I would not tell you. It would violate such an agreement. But then, you would know about that sort of thing, wouldn't you Assassin?"
Spectere paused for emphasis. Mostly, he wanted to keep Keioko occupied. He had long since slipped past to kill Kane. Only Golem was there. However, Spectere's presence was so well masked, it was impossible to tell.
"Yes, I can tell by your stance and movement... by your weapons and knowledge of technique... that you are an assassin."

Keioko growled deeply in her chest before listening carefully to how his voice echoed through the area. It sounded distant somehow. Damn it...
Keioko shot off in the direction she'd heard Bolt's shout come from, smelling for his scent and searchnig for his mind. She could not let him get hurt, or else she'd regret it for the rest of her life.

He swore aloud, a violent oath that even the most foul of Corellia's denizens were hesistant to utter. Standing up, he took his lightsaber in hand again.
Maybe that's a sign, Vayun. Stop being such a damned crusader.
He shook his head slowly as he turned the lightsaber hilt over in his head, staring down at the crippled hedgehog.
This one's definitely going to net me some dark side... Bastila's not going to be happy when she hears what a monumental fierfek I made.
With the distinctive snap-hiss sound, the blade of his lightsaber burst from the weapon's hilt as he looked mournfully down on the beast.
Nothing left to do but put you out of your misery.
And with a smooth arc of his lightsaber, he did exactly that.

After the first tripwire he passed in his haste he became fully aware of the slight sting in his side, a mere scratch in his tough hide. His path took him up into a tree, a claw embedded in the side of the trunk as he paused to glance about, "Interressting...a ussserr of trrapsss...hehehe, itsss been a while." He had an offhand thought that perhaps keeping the case with him would have been a good idea, but dismissed it as the tree let out a resounding -=CRACK=- and faultered under his weight. Glancing down he hopped back to the ground and glanced back in the direction of Bolt, "Hmm...the sssquad isss divided. Ssstealth isss coverred by myssself and the girrl, but the loud one...hisss purrpossse mussst be powerr." He began to return towards Bolt, keeping an eye out for traps. While he may not have been his squad's trap expert, his training could reveal simple trips wires to his eyes well enough, and disarm such basic traps to clear the path. He wasn't going full speed, but he was dead silent, pausing only to disarm traps as he stalked back towards Bolt.
