iKillCaustic--uKillMe Afro-Dawg iKillCaustic--uKillMe Yes I am, but the thing is my date was sent to a councellor earlier that year because she was seen kissing her girlfriend, and I had expected that the higher-ups would have tried to prevent me from bringing her. Well that's kind of cool, then, I guess. Unless your school just wanted to avoid a legal battle by just allowing her to go. If they were, they kept it hushed up very well. My date's mum was very pissed off about the whole thing. I imagine. As long as she was pissed because her daughter was being discriminated against and not because her daughter was kissing a girl.

Whoa, I know how to charm 'em.
Went with this guy out to the county wetlands. Assured him countless times when he asked about ticks that I had been walking trails once a week and hadn't come out with one. I also assured him that we hadn't had any complaints at work about ticks on pets.
Long story short he sprinted back to the car with four ticks on him, smacking at them wildly and making girly noises, with me laughing hysterically behind him as I flicked about four off as well.
Ticks: not the 'milkshake that brings the boys to the yard'.

Okay, I've got a thing about ticks and leeches but come on. That's just silly. And smacking them is the wrong way to deal with the issue.

Yeah, it was sort of ridiculous. That's why I laughed so hard when he started in.
Also, made the mistake of laying the jeans I wore that day on my bed. Even though I didn't leave them there long one of those sneaky bastards wound up on my sheets, because I found one on me this afternoon.

Yesterday when I was doing my homework, one just dropped off my wall and landed on me. It died soon after.

I think one of the strangest experiences I've ever had with ticks was the year we were finding some around our house that resembled green grapes in both size and color. Mostly we just get your average deer ticks but these things were something else entirely. We think they were dropping off of the dog and I haven't seen any like that before or since but they were creepy as hell.

I can't think of what those ticks are called, but I know I've seen them on posters at work. Average ticks aren't too freaky, but those had to be terrifying.

Catalinalyra Yesterday when I was doing my homework, one just dropped off my wall and landed on me. It died soon after. I accidentally read this as 'I died soon after', and was rather shocked. Dead or alive, insects dropping onto you like tiny assassins is not fun.

Corabella I can't think of what those ticks are called, but I know I've seen them on posters at work. Average ticks aren't too freaky, but those had to be terrifying. Just a bit. I know they were engorged so they looked much bigger than usual but even engorged, I've never seen a tick so large before. I've been more than happy to not see any more of them.
