Bornes folded his arms over his chest with a hmph. "Fine. Thank you."
Then he clarified. "But I'm thanking you, not the dog."
After a few seconds of trying to look pissed off, he sighed and carefully, slowly sat down, folding his legs in front of him and putting his hands in his lap. His tail dragged along the round a few times before stopping at his left leg and curling next to it.
Bornes put his head down with another sigh. "Sorry for fainting," he mumbled, ever so quietly. He hoped Isiah wouldn't even hear.

Isiah shrugged in response to that. He felt like a cigarette but.. he had to conserve. He'd had one.. some.. time ago? He couldn't even remember. "You can't help that," he grumbled back. Kaie laid down beside him, thumping his tail lazily. The dog was just happy to be around people. Even though the funny looking one wasn't too fond of him.

"I'm not squeamish or anything like that," he defended himself. "I just have low blood pressure so..." He hoped he didn't have to finish that sentence. He changed the subject anyway.
"I swiped the glasses off my face while I was down in that dump so they're probably still down there. I'd go get them myself but... Well. You know." He hmphed, craning his neck to the side.
"Sorry for being a d**k about it."

Isiah pushed up onto his feet, wiping the dust off of his hands with a sigh. "All right," he grumbled. "Enough. I'll go get em. C'mon Kaie."
He began walking and Kaie pushed onto his feet, giving him a wide berth before walking after Isiah, his tail wagging back and forth. Isiah crept back through the hole in the foundation, creeping along the ground. It was much harder now that it was dark. Kaie waited for him at the hole, poking his shaggy head in to watch before giving a long sigh. Isiah couldn't see well until he found the hole where Q had fallen through. He felt around on the ground for a moment or two before finding them, picking them up to brush them off on his pant front, creeping back through the veritable maze, trudging back to the seated Bornes. "Here," he grumbled, holding them out in front of him.

As he was left alone, he let loose a shiver. Nobody around. That was creepy.
Once Isiah came back, though, Bornes reached out his hand for the glasses, and put them on once he held them. Relief washed over him. "Thank you," this time it was more than sincere. These thing were his life.
After that, he stood, looking down at himself, checking his 'bandage' out. He quirked a brow at what it was made out of, and then moved the knot a bit to see if he was still bleeding. He wasn't, but it was still a little nasty looking, so he kept the shirt on.
He turned to Isiah again, who was shirtless. That wasn't new in and of itself, but there was a detail Bornes had missed before, probably because of Isiah's jacket.
Isiah's nipples were pierced. Bornes let out a chuckle. "You never fail to surprise me, you know that?" He turned to go back in the direction of the bridge, not bothering to explain.
"And you call me the princess," he snerked, mostly to himself.

Isiah looked down at himself for a moment- he didn't make the connection. "What? I can get my own s**t. Don't throw hissy fits and fall through floors, either." He plopped down beside him, the dog setting down behind him. He scratched along his stubble, grumbling.

Bornes got to the bridge and turned around. "I'm sorry? What was that? I've been carryingt he duffel for two nights now, Ms. I've known a dog for five minutes and already named it, it's my bestest buddy, and I pierce my nips for how lovely it is."
Bornes gave an evil smirk. "That beast is big and black. Looks like it likes athletics. Gonna go for it too?"
Alright, so that last part was uncalled for, but Bornes was feeling left out.

Isiah grunted, picking up the bag in turn. "I didn't pierce em, first of all," he grumbled. "And second of all, I don't think Kaie is my type, but thank you for scoping out the local males for me, I appreciate it." He ground his teeth, shifting the bag from one shoulder to the other until he was comfortable. "Four legged isn't really one of my turn ons."

Bornes stayed atop the bridge while Isiah went down. He stood up straight as he watched Isiah seem to struggle with the bag.
"You had them pierced. Silly me for using slang in your beautiful english language," Bornes remarked, rolling his eyes behind his glasses.
He walked across the bridge and stood at the edge of the ledge, wondering to himself how Isiah expected to climb the ledge with the bag on his back like that. He'd just watch for now.
The hybrid looked toward the dog, lifting his glasses and pushing to the top of his forehead, as the sun had finally set. "You do know it's a female, right?"

"No, I didn't HAVE them pierced either," he grumbled. This conversation was becoming very uncomfortable. "You'd better drop it." He readjusted the bag for a second, sitting down on the ledge of the bridge before hanging off of it, dropping onto his feet. Kaie followed suit with a grunt, landing on his feet uncomfortably, shaking off afterward.
It had taken that time for Isiah to process exactly what Q had said, his eyes darting underneath Kaie with a frown. "... Well.. Damn." He scratched the back of his name. Sacriligious as it was.. "Oh well. Kaie works fine either way."

Bornes frowned. Did Isiah expect him to believe his pecks up and pierced themselves? The statement didn't make much sense to Bornes, so he did as was told and simply dropped it.
After Isiah had gotten up the ledge non-too-gallantly, Bornes waited for him to lead the way. "It wouldn't matter either way," Bornes said. "It's just an animal." He shot a cold glare to the dog from behind Isiah. He hoped it got exhausted and died. He wouldn't admit it now, but he definitely was jealous.
One human left on the earth and all it paid attention to was a silly beast.

He rolled his eyes. "We're all animals," he offered with a grunt. "Kaie's just a furry one." He paused. "Well.. furry.. er."
Kaie followed after Isiah, behind him just a pace, claws wearing on the pavement- or what pavement there was- her tail waving back and forth.
He looked back at him, now that the sun had nearly set. "You gonna take those off, Paris Hilton?"

All animals. What s**t. Bornes tched but didn't say anything, as it was obviously an argument he wouldn't win. Besides, he had acted childish enough as it was. He should clean up his act. Or at least, start to.
Maybe if he pretended to not care, it wouldn't be that bad. Still...
He gave the back of the dog an evil glare. If he were won of the seven sins, he must've been envy.
When Isiah had mentioned Paris Hilton, he was taken offguard. "What?" His green eyes looked up to the sky, and he grabbed the sunglasses from atop his head. "These?"
He hmphed and slipped the glasses onto his shirt collar instead. "What does it matter to you how I choose to interpret fashion?" He hmphed. But alas, attention. Bornes wanted more of it. Wanted to kick that stupid dog of competition to the curb.

"Well you know us fags," he said with a chuckle. "We have more fashion sense than the average square." He waited until Q had caught up to him, adjusting the duffel on his shoulder once again. Kaie cantered up to them to walk right behind Isiah's hip, her tail wagging back and forth slowly.

Bornes caught up, gave an evil look ot the dog, but tried to ignore it for the most part. He focused his attention on Isiah.
"If you care so much about that, it must mean I am not bad to look at least." It was more of a cursory comment for himself than to continue the conversation, but he did say it aloud for a reason.
