She let out a laugh and turned towards him while he was holding her. "Don't play dumb. What about the 'if you do this, then you get a special treat tonight'?"

he just grinned and held her some more. "hmm. i still dont know. i guess you'll just have to show me this specail treat tonight."

She let out a laugh and pushed him away a bit. "Maybe if you deal with getting Cyan to take a bath tonight, I will. That boy is horrible when it comes to baths. Thank god Garreth is out of that stage."

Mari had laughed and then leaned against the kitchen counter. "I wouldn't trade him or the other two for anything in the world, though." She gave a small smile and looked towards the front room where they were and then stood up straight. "Garreth! Come here!" The boy came in and gave her a confused look, wondering what she wanted. "Your choice for dinner tonight. What's it going to be?" Garreth stood there with his parents and thought to himself, trying to think of what would be good.

he stood next to garreth and messed his hair up a bit, grinning at him.

Garreth laughed and looked up at him, grabbing his hand as if telling him to stop. He then looked at Mari and spoke in his quiet voice. "Umm... Lasagna." He smiled and Mari nodded. "Sure thing. I better get started on that now, then."

His wings shifted a bit as his dad patted him on the back and Mari was working on getting things ready for dinner. "Alright. You know my rules. Out of the kitchen, unless you intend on helping." She then was making a shooing motion with her hands at the both of them.

Cyan was laying on the loveseat in the living room and Raine was playing a handheld game. They both seen Garreth and Smash walk in and Cyan looked at his brother. "What are we having for dinner?" Garreth answered him quietly as he always did. "Lasanga." Cyan smiled. It wasn't one of his favorites, but he would eat it.

he walked over to raine and watched over her shoulder. he even pointed out a few things and as she played.

Cyan had sat beside his dad and was watching Raine play her game, as well. Garreth looked over at all of them and let out a small, inaudiable sigh. He then went outside and sat on a tree limb, thinking to himself.

he looked out the window and seen him on the tree branch. that was something he used to do a lot himself. he always wondered what went on in that boy's head.

Garreth had stayed there and didn't move. He was just looking out infront of him. From the angle that Smash could see, his back was towards the window.
