jwalker67 Wulvengar Noctorus jwalker67 Wulvengar Noctorus jwalker67 Just chilling, blasting Blind Guardian all throughout my room....ahhh....good stuff...good stuff.... What kind of music? Progressive Power Metal with a heavy emphasis on singing about various works of literature like Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Wheel of Time, the Bible, etc. Their awesome, extremely talented. Here is one of my favorite songs by them. ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c98gIxCe1zoI shall check him out Start out with their album Twist in the Myth. One of the things the band does very well is transport you to another world (figuratively of course) with their songs, which while they do that very well with their latest album, I find that Twist in the Myth does it better. I always blast some Blind Guardian whenever I am writing one of my fantasy/science fiction novels. They have an Iced Earth, Manowar and a bit of dragonforce feel.

I do proclaim myself a writer. Been one since I first wrote a Megaman64 fan-fiction when I was about 7 years old. ( I think it was 7 >.> ) But I started writing my own original pieces around 10, and have been writing stories for my own enjoyment for years. I got folders upon folders of writings I've done over the years in my closet, though half of them are just story ideas. I would be published by now if it wasn't for the fact I have a severe problem of getting distracted and not finishing what I started. >.>

The both of you should try NaNoWriMo, if you haven't already. It sounds like you two aspire to be writers and this organization/month will help pressure you into actually finishing what you started. One month, one novel. I can tell you from experience that it isn't the easiest thing to do less you plan a plot ahead of time; that isn't to say that winging it cannot be just as fun!
