Terryn shook her head with an excited twinkle in her eyes. "Not at all. I have always wanted to visit the Mediterranean." She leaned forward and kissed him, lowering the volume of her voice. "And perhaps we can stay there for the honeymoon..."
((yes, oddly enough there were honeymoons back then. and htey involved real honey! i think...))

OOC: Ironically enough, we learned in health class that honey was used as a contraceptive way back...sometime.
Marcus smiled again, brightening at mention of the honeymoon. He was looking forward to that, certainly. "I have no objection," he told Terryn, kissing her again.

"Then Greece it is." Terryn settled back against him, feeling rather content. "That is one less thing for your grandmother to decide at least."

Marcus chuckled. "Not quite. What's going to happen is: we'll tell her we want to go to Greece, she makes a fuss about it, and after a week or so, she decides that we should go to Greece." He shrugged. "She'll have decided. She hates letting other people do anything for themselves."

"This is true." Terryn took Marcus's hand, playing absentmindedly with his fingers. "We could, however, casually hint to her. Mention Greece around the same time as we speak about the wedding. She can put two and two together and take the credit if she so desires."

"Casual hints have no place around Gran," Marcus told her, looking down at their hands. "Nothing casual does. She'll notice the hints, of course. She just won't let us do as we wish."

Terryn shrugged, intertwining her fingers with his and thinking to herself. "That is true. If only my father was around. He is generally good at convincing her of things."

Marcus studied Terryn. "You think you might have inherited his talents?" he asked hopefully. "I'm alright, but I've more than exhausted my quota."

Terryn shrugged. "I could always try." She yawned lightly, feeling not really tired but just restful. "But not today...today I just wish to avoid conflict."
