Hehe, he's not mine. And you're right, he is a puppy, but he's not a dog.
You're looking at a 12-day-old grey timberwolf pup. There's a place near my campus that takes care of animals, particularly wolves, that cannot be rereleased back into the wild for whatever reason. The pups I saw are being sent to zoos. ^^ Isn't he cuuuute? Look how teensy his ears are~

A wolf? Oh my, so adorable still. Thats too bad that it wont go back to the wild. Being trapped in would be a horrible life. Wolves are meant to be out in the wild with untamed land and nothing will change that>.<

Yeesh, you guys are talking like the poor thing's gonna be stuck in a small enclosure its entire life.
No, we're not in Washington. We're in Illinois.
I don't know if these are state or national laws, but in order to have a wolf in your care, you need a half dozen different licenses and so many ACRES of land per animal. The ASPCA comes in about three times a year to do an unnanounced check of the animal's condition.
You can ask them to come back the next day, but that's $1500 per animal per day and on the third day, you're down $4500 per animal and the animals get confiscated. XD

I asked because that there's a wolf sancutary in Washington state called Wolf Haven. I wanna "adopt" a wolf from there again. It's $25 a year and that covers any extra food or medical bills for any wolf on the land. In fact, check it out yourself. http://www.wolfhaven.org
