Sora took a moment to recover and get back to his feet. He tried to charge Fester, only to be knocked back down.
Fester watched as the girl was going to be stubborn. Want to protect him, will she? The dragon deemed she needed... correcting. He saw Sora get back up and charge him, but with a flick of the tail he was back face down in the dirt next to Yuke who had just arrived. Lovely! Both were together for their punishment. But he wanted to give Sora an extra dose of pain. He seemed rather attracted to this little necromancer. 'Let's see what happens when...' and with that, Fester sunk his claws into Ghost's stomach.

Yuke's eyes widened as Fester bit down into Ghost. He grabbed Sora's arm, knowing that the sparrow wouldn't be able to fight the dragon. They'd need to wait until their fathers, or someone else, was there with them.
Ghost bit into her tongue to avoid screaming out as she crumpled against the teeth of the dragon. Her vision swam and blurred, but she saw the creature well enough to place a hand on its snout again, seeing as one of her hands was pinned to her side by his teeth. She concentrated all that was left of her energy into pouring the dead into him, hoping to at least make it so Sora and Yuke could kill the dragon.

Fester snarled as the necromancer made one last attempt to drain his energy, but the dragon didn't care. He'd have to leave before the fathers arrived. They were too powerful for him. After giving one last chomp on Ghost, he smirked and tossed her bleeding form to Sora's feet. The dragon soon took his leave, sensing the fathers near.
Sora watched in horror as Fester sunk his fangs into Ghost before tossing her at his feet. He squirmed away from his brother, immediately going to her side. He gently picked her up and cradled her in his arms. "Why did you do that... I told you to run..." he whispered, starting to sob, feeling the blood run through his fingers.

Ghost's head leaned against Sora's chest, since she couldn't move much. Her vision was blurring on the edges, and she could see more ghosts than her usual. She knew that meant she was dying, and she gulped, frightened suddenly of the death she'd been a companion to for her whole life. Demetri had succeeded in finding Damian, Hakaru, and Anya and getting them down to the grove, but they arrived just after Fester disappeared. Damian immediately moved towards Sora's side, but stayed back a little, to allow him to speak with Ghost. He gestured to Anya, but the faerie just shook her head. She remembered when Lunora had almost been killed so many years ago by Otosan, and how draining healing her had been. With the nature of Ghost's powers, and with the severity of the girl's wounds, Anya could do nothing to help. She swallowed hard, already feeling guilty for not being able to heal the young girl. Ghost looked up at Sora with what little strength she had and smiled a little. "There's something for your in my notebook... On the edge of the clearing... Please... Read..." she trailed off in a faint voice, her eyelids closing as her head fell against the sparrow's chest again. [OOC:] I feel horrible crying

Sora shook his head some, hearing her voice become faint and start to trail off. "No, you've got to stay awake! Please! Please, stay... awake..." his own voice dissolved into sobs as Ghost's head leaned against his heaving chest. He pulled her closer to him, not even caring about what his father had told him. He held her close, deadly skin and all. The sparrow refused to let her go, or for anyone else to touch her at the moment.
Natalia arrived on the scene. It was heart wrenching to say the least. She Quietly walked behind Sora and gently took Yuke's hand and started leading him out of the grove. She signed to Demetri and Anya that they should leave him alone for a while. Seemed he that was all Sora seemed to want at the moment.

Yuke watched as his cousin cried over the dead necromancer. Numbly, he allowed Natalia to take him away. Demetri, the fathers, and Anya followed behind as well.
Ghost's bare arm was against the skin of Sora's arm, but since she was dead, the effect of her powers didn't seem to touch the sparrow. The ghosts gathered in the grove moved closer, sorrowfully. They were mourning their friend's loss, whether she'd realized she was their friend or not. A few of them brushed against Sora in an attempt to comfort him.

Sora continued to hold the dead girl, blood covering his lap and arms. "Why did you have to die.... Right when we became friends... When we could have spend so much time together... It's not fair... It's jsut not fair!" he sobbed, pulling her closer to him, resting his forehead on hers. His tears trailed down his cheeks and dripped onto her face as he continued to hold her, refusing to let her go. He did start to feel something, but he put it in the back of his mind. Nothing took precedence over the girl in his arms.

An odd figure stepped into the grove from the other side and began to move towards the crying sparrow and his dead friend. The figure looked like the shadow of a person, but with every step it took towards Sora and Ghost, its body began to define itself. At the same time, Ghost's body began to almost... Fade. Like she was becoming just what her nickname always was. [OOC:] Sorry for disappearing. I was dragged to dinner without warning.

[OOC:] That's ok.
Sora cracked his eyes open, ad saw Ghost started to fade away. He tightened his grip on her, holding her closer to him. "No, don't leave me here... please don't leave me here. You can't leave... I've already lost you once. Please don't go." he cried more, if that was even possible, gently placing a blood stained hand to her cheek.

Ghost continued to fade away, until she stopped at a substance that Sora could feel and see, but only barely. The figure had finally stopped and knelt before Sora, at the same substance. The figure appeared to be just like Ghost, except that instead of bright white eyes, she had dark brown ones. She was less of a sickly pale, and didn't wear dark clothes; instead she wore a green sundress. "She doesn't have to leave," she said, almost sadly, to Sora.

Sora glanced up some, seeing the ghost-like girl before him. He glanced between them for a moment before looking to the one in the green sundress. "What do you mean?" he asked, wiping his eyes some, though smudging some blood on his face as he did.

"This girl is Ghost," she said, gesturing to the bloody, dead girl. "The name I was born with is Anastasia. However, I died at a young age. It was the perfect opportunity for a necromancer to be born. When the spirits of the dead chose me, they entered me and changed me. I have been trapped since then. Ghost was the name given to me by the dead. She allowed me to live on when I could not myself. By her death, I will regain my life, and the life that she lead as me. However, if you choose, you may send me away and bring her back. The power rests with you, now."

Sora looked to the girl in his arms, as the other one explained. He rubbed his eyes more, trying to get them to stop burning. He looked to Ghost, wondering what to do. He wasn't used to having such power and it just made him more confused. "I... I just want my friend back..." he sniffled pitifully. He really just wanted his friend. His first real friend. He still didn't know how that would even affect his choice on which would come back.

Anastasia just nodded, and placed her hand over one of Ghost's. There was a dim glowing light over their hands, and soon, Anastasia began to fade again, and Ghost gained substance. Just as Anastasia almost became completely transparent, there was a flash of light, blinding Sora and all the ghosts in the clearing, who disappeared promptly, frightened. When the light cleared away, Ghost's wounds had disappeared, as had all the blood on both Sora and Ghost. Her dark clothes had been replaced by the green sundress that Anastasia had worn, though she didn't appear otherwise altered. Help them, came a whispering voice, and again the ghosts appeared in the clearing, but no longer focused on Ghost. They were now staring at Sora.

Sora watched as Anastasia started to fade, while Ghost was returning to this world. He had to shield his eyes from the light, but took Ghost right back into his arms when it had faded. He saw she wasn't bloody anymore, nor was he. And the blood on his face was gone. He gently stroked Ghost's hair until he heard that whisper. It made him look up and jump some. Where had all these ghosts come from?! "U-Um... Hello?"
