Felicia paused as the stranger on the rock spoke. To her, things were a bit strange, and because of this, she remained totally silenced.
Pulling nervously on a strand of her hair, Felicia stepped back, stumbling over a few random things in the process, but that was just her being an idiot.
The pale blue hue of her eyes caught the moon's silver glow, and made her look almost unnatural. A look of innocent bewilderment was fixed upon her face, and her head tilted ever-so-slightly to the side.
What's going on?

"No, I suppose we aren't. Off the court we do get along most of the time, though." She shook her head when she saw Kura was awake and heard his reply. It might not have been intended to come out the way it had, though. "I thought you were asleep there." she said "But of course, seems no one ever does that here."

Kyol moved through the forest for a bit longer, he was paying attention mostly to the treetops, trusting his feet to guide him. He started to walk along the edge of a clearing. He vaguely noticed the four other people, but he was more concerned with trying to find his stuff. "Huh....I think I remember seeing that rock when I put them here...." he muttered, glancing over to the rock, and looking around at the tree tops.

He slowly walked down from the hill he had been sitting and praying at. He carried his Mitaki effortlessly as he slowly moved down the hill, watching his step as to not bump anything. He stepped onto the warm earthy ground and continued to walk onwards. He saw a good size river ahead of him and decided to do some training in it. He took off his shirt which left him standing in the thigh high water in his baggy black pants. He started out with a few slow movements of his arms and hands.

With a quiet presence Quils entered the wilderness. Taking in the feel of the natural ground beneath his feet, a pleasantry compared to the rocky terrain he usually traversed. He ran his fingers through his purple hair, pulling it back behind his head and away from his face. He could feel a soothing air come about him as he hiked through the foliage, careful not to trample any of the delicate plants. This was his gentle side, a side he enjoyed showing and tried his best to maintain. Deep inside though, he felt the need to step harshly through any underbrush in his path and to disregard the fragility of life as he knows it. "So peaceful." he said, sighing pleasurably and stepping over a small brook.

He quickly went through a set of basic quick punches. He stopped training as he had started thinking of the journey ahead of him. He got out of the water, put his shirt back on while grabbing his weapons, and began to walk across the open land. He spoke quietly to himself. "This tournament, I must find out about it. It would be the perfect way for me to finally unleash my full strength for everyone to see." He paused for a moment to look at the sky. "It would also be a chance to finally get to know the majority of these people and their fighting styles. I must do my best in the tryouts to make my spot in this tournament assured." He had walked quite a distance and stopped looking out in front of him. He smiled slightly as the lightly wooded area in front of him was much like what the path to his grandfathers dojo had looked like. He sat down on a rock and looked into the forest. The forest brought back memories of he and his grandfather sparing against each other. He saw him as a boy and his grandfather punching at him while he blocked. He stared blankly into the forest with the expression on his face of great peace, one that had not been seen from him in a long while.

A lovely presence entered the forest, she had long lavender hair with lavender eyes, which were full of kindness. Her hands were grasping the Grim Reaper Pendalum staff she had grabbed from her back. Her long silky black (which the sleeves are white lace) gown flowed with the open air, as well as the purple ribbons tied on her arms legs and criscrossing her breasts. Though her eyes were usually full with kindness, presently they were full of confusion, wondering where this place called BLack amber would be. But, she was excited, Sakura loved traveling to new places, meeting new friends..but she was also simply afraid, afraid what people might think of her or yet..judge her by her innocence. She is strong and is the type that will never give up. Some people say that she puts her needs aside her just to help her friends, a rare type. Though, she is a lunakinesis angel (moon angel) she was also a phantom..no one loves a phantom..so she tire to keep that information away from people. SAkura contiued to walk in the forest, not knowing if she was heading towards Black Amber, going away from the sight, or just plainly walking in circles.

Quils paused, gasping as his gaze caught on to a great red oak. He bound over to it, gracefully avoiding anything that might be trampled in his path. He threw his arms around the tree and smiled, taking in the scent of the bark and nuzzling against it. "Smells like mom." he cooed, backing away. His face turned red as he realized his actions. With a nervous chuckle her turned away and resumed his course. His slender figure allowing him to move through parts of the forest that a normal warrior could not. It was hard to imagine him as a warrior. With his pleasant demeanor and odd actions, it was better suited to assume him as just a wandering romantic and not a violent sword-for-hire. He would have prefered this too. He found the peaceful life to keep him content and satisfied. But another part of him beckoned for blood. This darkside reveled in combat and thrived from pain, inflicted and endured otherwise. This part rarely reared its demonic head. Allowing him to maintain a steady life and reputation. He could only imagine what was in store for him in Black Amber.

Marises pulled her clothing tight around her as a fierce gust of wind tore at her small form. The sun had already begun to sink behind the tip of the mountain and the trees were a maze of sharp-edged shadows writhing in the dying light. The heat was quickly dissipating, leaving behind a cool wind that held the wet, fetid scent of approaching rain. She glanced apprehensively at the sky, already overrun with the thick purple forms of storm clouds and then stepped out of the gallery onto the large stepping stone below. She walked determinedly through the forests, head bent against the wind. The fruit trees, ravaged by the harbingers of the approaching storm, looked ghastly in the red glow of the setting sun: skeletal arms and fingers reaching out to catch her in their bony grasp.

Kyol moved more surely now, and stopped at a fairly tall tree. In the top branches, a bundle could barely be seen tied to the trunk of the tree. He smiled and proceeded to climb the tree. After a few moments of climbing, he reached the bundle, and balancing himself on a branch, untied it from the trunk, and began to climb back down. The trip down took a bit longer than going up, due to the unwieldiness of the cloak with all his gear. Once he got to the bottom he spread the cloak out and removed his longsword, bow, and dirks. Those he strapped onto his body, threw the cloak around himself, and put the pack on his back. He started towards the main complex of the clan. He had been told that he could spend his nights in the men's lodgings. He had been recruited somewhat during his wanderings.

Marises had left the woman's lodgings and decided to stay in the forests instead, after all she had been born in one and there felt more at home than in a bed, not that she was uncomfortable in one but she just enjoyed outside. She came to a stop near a lake, she stripped off her heavy outer robes, folding them neatly placing them beside her. She then began to undo the fastenings of her obi as well as the sash, and set it and the layers underneath on the pile of clothing. She felt better in her under robes and more free to move about. As she sat near the lake she looked into its deep dark pools and smiled, closing her eyes she relaxed against a tree and rested her hands on her lap and with that began to hum. At first it was a low melodious sound, then it picked up slowly traveling like a swift wind. This sound reminded her of a dream she once had, of a beautiful silver bird trapped in a crued makeshift cage, who set free by his own master, flew up into the never ending sea of the blue sky.
"White or black as I depart beyond you, with the hope to change destiny. Although in the body the soul blazes, in the darkness the distance becomes infinite..."
She hummed the rest of the soft tune and soon falling half asleep.

He smiled as the setting sun cast shadows all around him. He was always more at home in the twilight hours. Just for fun he practiced melding in and out of shadows as he walked, it made him a somewhat strange sight. He seemed to be almost flickering. He passed by the lake where Marises was, but didn't quite notice her, he wasn't looking for a lake, so it didn't really register with him.

His baggy clothes were caught by the wind and ruffled his clothes. The loose strands of his brown hair swayed in the light wind. He slowly came back to reality as his memories of his grandfather had passed. He now had a blank expressionless look on his face. He was daydreaming. The same horrible scene was playing over in his head. The death of his father. He continuously saw his fathers face, covered in blood from a head wound, staring blankly at him from afar. In a split second the head slid off of its neck and fell to the ground, followed by the body. He thoughtlessly grabbed his Mitaki and ran forward at a boulder and cut deep into it with the large blade. He came back to reality and realized what he had done as he fell to his knees, plungin his sowrd into the ground, while gripping the blade of his sword tight enough that his hands began to bleed slightly. The blood slid down the blade of the sword and rested on the healthy grass.

The dark horse neighed. "We have to go in there. Don't give me any lip." Well I still think turning around is the best idea. "First of all I'm not taking orders from my horse, second of all there is no other choice. Its go in there or die out here. Got it!" If you say so. Stix was not happy about all this. Katalin grumbled to herself a little more and urged him into the forest. Man the foliage is thick. She pulled her cloak more tightly around her. Gray eyes scanning her surroundings. "I wonder." she thought outloud, there was something strange about this forest. The animals were not telling her anything different. I told you we did not want to come here. I didn't want to go into the wilderness at all. It was all your idea. And now we're lost. "Whine some more and I'll eat you."
