Yeah, I don't get that either. As little faith as I have in the intelligence of the average person on Gaia (not including you guys heart ), I don't think anyone here is of the age whose thought process goes something like: Well gee, I can make my little pixel-person smoke a cigar, so that must mean smoking is cool and totally not bad for you at all!

Yeah I just didn't get the smoking thing. I suppose I could understand, but they didn't give any reasons, they just said 'we're taking it away. Sell it back to us.'
That's IT. It'll probably cause a big fuss with some people.

I think it's completely ******** idiotic. Like, this has got to be in the top five stupidest things Gaia's ever done if it's not number one.
I ain't selling back any of my stuff. I'm pissed I'll never have the gold kiseru now. :C
And yeah, Don is right. Look at SF, they are going berserk in there and I really don't blame them. I hope they pitch a big enough fit that Gaia realizes it was damn stupid and undoes it.
For a second I thought "at least I could sell the ones I don't use for a ton of gold in the MP O:" but NOPE. ******** soulbound! Screw you Gaia. I think it'll be a long time before I make an avi without one of the smoking items I do have now. <___<

Yeah I find it really stupid that they take out the smoking items! I mean OMG GAIA "those" are the bad items! What about the ******** purple slut girl! Or the stripper pole we got!
It's fine to dress as whore, just as long as you don't smoke? WTF? People say they are getting sued and some others are saying its a joke and the items will be back tomorrow.
All I know is... I never got my long drag... D8

I hope it's just a joke. If not they'd best be telling us exactly why they did it 'cause damn. :/ I remember when people used to joke about how every few months someone would post in the SF bitching about the smoking items and literally everyone else would just b***h them out about it being a stupid idea to get rid of them. Because it IS.
The EI report sucked too. One item and it's not that great? Pffft.

Aha yeah. Speaking of slutty, my avi is just insane at what I've been able to get away with.
I know for the Carol of Ebenezer the big a** cigar is still there. I'm wondering if they're going to just leave items that evolved alone?

I just keep finding more and more reasons to stop coming on Gaia, it seems.
If you're stupid enough to start smoking just because your little pixel person on an online site is doing it, then you're too stupid to be on the internet.
Really though, Gaia, do they think everyone/anyone is that dumb? Also, who cares if someone smokes? It's their own problem.
I hope they're joking about this, as well.

let the rain fall down and wash away your pain. ...I know that it was nation quit smoking day a couple days ago. Like people gave up smoking for 24 hours on Thursday or something... I dunno if Gaia is doing it 'cuz of that and if it'll just be for one day.
I can't say I really care though... I don't have smoking items, never really wanted them.
I don't like smoking, but I really don't care if people have that stuff on their avvies... Let all the fear inside you drown.

Yeah, I was pretty shocked that they did anounced that and then RIGHT afterwards gave us a shitty, "MEET THE ARTIST" like there was no follow up or time to cool down. They realized they needed to put up something new to distract people, and what I don't get is that on the EI report if you scroll down there's other bolded words that LOOK like EI's. They only bold EI's through out the ramble, but these words aren't even items. It confused me.
