Kiah: Trying to... but Lavi is Mr. I-don't-believe-in-anything so we'll see how well it goes. Maybe I could do you next! *Laughs.* I don't actually know what I'm doing... but I have a book so it's all in good fun.
*Blinks a little as she tugs at the hood.* Well I'm glad to hear you're better... but I have to say you're making me awful suspicious though... Did you give yourself a bad hair cut?
Lavi: *Feels that moment of disappointment when his hand falls away, but busies it for a moment shuffling up the tarot cards while the other hand flips through the book she was speaking of, looking at how she was supposed to do it.* Okay... so... there's apparently a lot of ways to do this... so we'll just go with this method...
*Fans the cards out across the table in a smooth arc, and can't help but slide her foot over ever-so-slightly to rest against his, wanting even the smallest bit of contact.* Close your eyes and put your hands over the cards, and pull six of them. You're supposed to pick the six that make you feel something...They'll answer six questions: How you feel about yourself now, what you most want at this moment, your fears, what is going well for you, what is going against you, and what your future holds for you.

-Mouth stretches in a little smile again as she moves her foot against his, nudging against it a little. Tries to keep his face straight as he closes his eyes, thinking it all sounds a little flaky and he could answer most if not all of those questions by himself without the help of cards. Holds his hand out over the cards, frowning, trying to find this 'feeling'. After a while of just moving his hand over the cards repeatedly, he decided to just clear his head and instinctively pick out six cards, sliding them towards him so they're in front of him in a row. Opens his eyes again, resting his hands on the table.- There. Pray tell me what the cards have to say about me, Madame Silvia.

*Wiggles her eyebrows.* The cards will tell all, dear Lavi... *Flips over his first card, the one meant to say how he feels about himself, and laughs as she reveals the card that she placed on top of the tower before.*
Temperance.... so... *Flips through the pages and tilts her head a little bit.* It says... You have been striving for harmony and balance, and you're starting to feel like some of the peace you lost has been restored. Recent times have been tough, but with calm, careful control and patience things will start to feel normal again.
*Flips the card for 'what he wants right now' and eyes the book precariously, balancing the two acts.* The Devil... what you want most at this time, you can't have, which makes it all the more tempting. If you strive for what you want, you should make sure that you're making choices for the right reasons and be careful where you look for satisfaction.
Next is what you fear... *Flips over the card for Justice.* Hmm... This says... that right now you're feeling uneasy and insecure because something doesn't quite feel right. You are afraid that any decisions or actions you make will end badly because of your concerns.

-Listens to her as she reads his fortune, surprised by its accuracy, leaning over to peek at the book she's reading from, making sure she's not just making this up to prove him wrong. When satisfied she's not, he leans back against the chair with a frown.- Well that was... interesting. I can't say it's much positive... -Grabs the Judgement card and holds it up between two fingers with a smile.- This one was nice, though.
-Gets distracted by Kiah removing her hood, blinking a little but not really that surprised, used to people sprouting things like animal parts by now.- What the hell happened to you?

Lavi: I don't know... all of them had a decent prognosis at the end... I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. I'm just surprised you didn't jump straight to: 'bah humbug, generic answers, I tell you!' *Smiles gently at him and slides the cards still on the table back into a neat pile, reaching over to take the judgement card from his fingers as well.* I'm glad that one was your favorite though, because funny fact... Judgement is supposed to be the tarot card representative of my date of birth. I read it in an astrology book once... though I honestly think that zodiac stuff is total hogwash myself. The stars can't tell me how to act! *Puffs her chest out a little proudly.*
Kiah: That's why I just stick to either suffering in silence or going to the head nurse... The last though, only happens if I'm literally bleeding out all over the floor or not conscious. Which has only happened once, luckily, but I wasn't at this branch of the order at the time so I still got off easy. *Laughs a little.*
