I was going to take both kids out trick or treating but my poor daughter still has the flu and can't go. So my hubby took my son out and I'm taking care of my daughter and passing out candy to all the kids that come here.

I got a few pics of my niece, brother and sis in law brought her over to trick or treat. She had a blast, and when they was pulling up to the house. I heard the niece scream! UNCLE DARIK!!!!!! she was so happy to see me. She wanted to be around me all night smile my little heart melted and the GF was like she loves you to death. GF loves that little girl, she was like man I missed her so much, was great to get to see her again hehe.

I don't know where my brain was.. I didn't get pics of the kids pumpkins that I carved (they picked out the patterns) or pics of them in costume.. *hangs head in shame* My tinkerbell princess and wonder woman were adorable.
Sorry to hear your rugrat is sick with the flu Cam. Hope she recovers quickly.. I think me and both my girls caught another round of colds.. It was threatening to rain all day yesterday and windy to boot.. Now we're all stuffed up and coughy... *sigh* The joy of fall eludes me this year...
I'm off to write up a grocery list and hit the store.. (though I may just leave myself signed in so I can keep clicking on the event while I'm still here lol)

I carved my pumpkins to early and they rotted away sad oh well..
But todays avi is ment for my GF... pink symbolizing my love for her!!!

Well my daughter was still not recovering today so I took her back to the immediate care clinic (two hour wait in the lobby with a bunch of other really sad looking sick people). Turns out she has pneumonia! Now that she's on antibiotics she's expected to recover in a couple of days.

♦ ♣ ♥ ♠ Yeah I know! I'd taken her to the doc on Thursday and they checked for strep and also took an X-ray of her lungs and everything was clear. But then today they decided to do another X-ray in case it just hadn't shown up yet and sure enough, there was a change between the first and second one. I hope it clears up quickly. It's been a sleepless few nights being worried and not knowing why her fever wasn't breaking.

Chimpanzee Orange Fluffy Jello Dessert
Ingredients -
1 package (6 oz size) orange jello
3 cups boiling water
16 oz thawed cool whip
10 pissed off chimpanzees - being hopped up on PCP optional
Preparation:
Combine the jello with the boiling water until it has dissolved, then add the ice and stir.
Add the cool whip and whisk it in until well blended. Pour this mixture into 10 dessert glasses or a 6 cup jello mold and chill for 8 hours until set.
If you are using a mold, unmold the jello dessert on to a serving plate just before you serve it.
Decorate each serving glass with a pissed off chimpanzee, being mindful of their teeth and penchant for poo-slinging, or decorate the unmolded jello with the apoplectic primates and make sure each person gets a melee weapon or shield.
Serves 10
