"Mhm, transparent when it comes to some things do you know what?" Popping the other half of her cinnamon stick into her mouth and took his hand, letting him pull her into walking and thus back onto some sort of track other than her merely walking about angry and the like. It honestly wasn't like she could stop tomorrow from coming anyway. Hm or could she? Nah, ending the time flow of things caused its own stress.

"Hopefully at least half will leave by tomorrow. Most probably with broken pride and what not, but that's what happens when you play in tournament and loose. But yes, I will feel better once that happens. Never liked crowds." Looking around somewhat merely surveying things right now. "I'm sure you'll feel better too, no more people to worry over or be exasperated with for getting the snot beat out of them."

"Hey, your like that too about certain things as well."

Taking the route of least turns and such to the inn, and checking on Malikhai first, then they'd go take care of Dhairiss, and then he'd get his time with his wife and making sure she was as stress free and relaxed as he could make her.

"Well if they wouldn't act so ridiculous they wouldn't get that beat up and then I wouldn't have to expend nearly as much energy to heal them. Stupid idiots that pull out all the stops in the first five minutes and nearly get themselves killed because they don't know when to back down and yield. Although I could say the same about Malikhai D'vinn and it's going to be nearly impossible for me to keep from kicking his a** if he does in fact joust tomorrow."

"I never denied I was, A'mael. Simple as that you know." Far as she was concerned, she still had the upper hand here and hey she preferred that right now. But back at the end, they both poked in on Malikahi...who apparently had found himself a comfortable position to lay in and had drifted off to reverie, the room smelling faintly of something of the likes that Zahara would make. Best to leave him alone for the time being. Pulling the door shut it was a visit to Zykariel to relieve him of Dhairiss to which he was quite glad for, but at that point Dhairiss had more or less jumped himself out of energy mostly. "Just do me a favor? Don't give in to that urge to take him on, alright? Let's try my way first. It may work."

"Tournament is half showboating, really. It would be the point, to do things with some flare and what not. People just forget when to pull that flare otu and they do it too soon. Thus why those that hold back tend to be the victor. It's not that they're not eager to strike and perform, but they are smart about it over everything else. Brute strength doesn't win a tournament by itself." Giving her somewhat of a grin then as they were walking. "I'll do my best to hold you back. If anything, he's at least a good patient for you. Actually lays still when you tell him."

"Much like Faate though she learned pretty quickly that when you hit those who are at your same power level and can bring it on and bring it on fast you have to step up and take the challenge. Which she did rather nicely." Giving a nod to that and then chuckling. "Right now he doesn't have much of a choice. It hurts to move so he lays still. Although he's always been far more receptive to healing than Zykariel. That boy won't sit still even if his arm is out of his socket."

"what is your way? what do you have up your sleeve, my little pied piper?"

while settling dhairiss down, and covering him up and tucking him in before taking his wife's hand again and leading her over to thier bed and stripping her down, setting the oil he bought over a candle to heat it up some.

"did you two come to some agreement that involves some method of forcing him to resign his little quest?"

"Yes, she did do rather nicely and you were scared that she couldn't handle it. I spend more time with that girl when it comes to her magics and the like. I had faith in her for a good reason, like I said. Runics can show a lot as to the depth of abilities." But a look over at her chuckling, "I think he gets that from me...you know, the whole do as you see routine? I never made a fuss when I was visibly hurt and the like. We'll call that one my fault and that evens the scores a bit now doesn't it? Now you're not all the bad guy when it comes to that boy."

A kiss to her son as he was settled and was being quite compliant tonight, and he right should be after all that activity they were told he had been up to, she let him pull her over to the bed as well as get her out of her clothes. Sitting down on the bed, she pulled her hair over her shoulder and took it out of it's braided fashion, shaking her head to let it fall as it may around her shoulders. Though she did lift a leg and place a foot to Malik's stomach to hold him at bay a moment. "A resignation is indeed the course that we wish this to go to. He charged his wife with finding someone that could attest to who you are, not afraid of you or anything...who knew both the good and the bad, and wasn't me. I found her someone. Now it's a waiting game till then and then a verdict. Hopefully...he will accept his answers and if not...well, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

"I'm a mother, what can I say? And you've been handling her education in magics and such. I just remember how little you learn that you can actually use in the first so many years of runing. It was highly irritating for me, don't you know. I think you heard my complaints more than once." She laughed at his attempts to make it all better and squeezed his hand in thanks. "Probably. Same reason he eats the way he does. He can't be quite as stoic about the pain like you can though. He tries, gods know he does but he's rarely successful. Silly boy."

Her foot stopped him for a moment, though he did rub her calf while he listened.

"I take it then that letter to Serino was going to your father? That'll be an interesting meeting I imagine."

But that was all for that, and he laid her down on her stomach on the bed, letting her rest her head on her arms and got the heated oil and started working on her shoulders and her back, giving her a nice deep massage. when she was stressed out, everyone got stressed out. Piper was teh linkbetween father and sons mostly, and having the link stressed was bad for everyone's general health and emotional well-being. And malik enjoyed treating his wife to things, and spoiling her. So tonight he was going to makes sure every muscle was relaxed and she was very content. and if he got oil all over the bed, no big deal. at least it smelled like cinnamon.

"You did more than complain. You whined, you tried to get out of it, you tried to force me into kicking you out of the room. I still can't get anywhere with you. Some people just aren't meant for runes." Took quite the mind to indulge in those things, most rune mages were actually a tad highter on the intelligence scale honestly. "I still eat more. And a healthy response to pain is a good thing. He'll know when yes he has lopped off a finger or something the moment it happens and not fifteen minutes later when he happens to glance because for some reason there's blood all over the floor."

"Who better than him, right? He's at least level headed and rational...and journal ridden." Which was an amusing thought as always to her. "Like I said, we'll try my way first...and then we'll think of new ways. I catch you making any of those decisions alone then you're going to get it too." Because he couldn't run around all crazy like taking on challenges of that sort. He had a family now and she wasn't going to raise two kids by herself in the Underdark. Just wasn't happening. But she let him spoil as she wished...after all what was there to complain about? If anything the man could give a good massage so it wasn't long before she was actually almost dropping into reverie she was thus so relaxed...at least temporarily.

"In short everything to make your life miserable and you to stop wanting to teach me. There was a method behind my madness you know." She let him respond as he wanted and then easily turned his direction back towards the inn. He needed reverie despite his assurances to the opposite and she wanted to settle down with him. "All of our children are healthy. It's a good thing." Squeezing his hand as they climbed the stairs together, she shed her clothes and chose to forgo the nightgown, choosing to reverie naturally.

Faate was startled out of reverie by her own internal alarm clock. She'd had the talent as long as she could remember to wake up right when she needed to, despite how plentiful and restful her reverie was the night before. She rolled over and reached out for Mykorian but frowned when her hand was met with empty sheets and a mattress. Why was she in her bed? Glancing down at the smooth floor next to the bed, his disappearance had her worried. She hopped up and began getting dressed rather hurriedly until she noticed a pale set of toes just sticking out of the end of the bed. On her knees, she could clearly see him and it took a bit of struggle but she managed to pull the blankets out from under the bed. "Mykorian?" Gently shaking his shoulder.

Zahara had fallen deep into reverie and hadn't stirred much at all, even when Sevilin tossed and turned next to her. She didn't know if he'd gotten up and gone walking later in the night and she had no idea if he was even in the bed beside her. Things were looking up slightly and she settled in for another hour of reverie or so.

A few rustling sounds came from the crib across the room as Kelligrin shifted and settled throughout his own reverie. As quickly as he succumbed, he was released and he pushed himself to a sitting position, whimpering lightly before grasping onto the bars of his crib and pulling himself up to stand, starting to cry.

Zykariel was standing over his best friend's bed, watching him reverie and taking inventory on the various purplish discolorations crisscrossing his skin. He was absolutely going to feel it if Kariel did his normal and yanked him out of bed. He wasn't that mean. Clearing his throat loudly he reached out and poked one of hte small patches of skin that was still mostly blue. "Get up, D'vinn."

He was quite passed out, even as she had managed to grab the blankets of his pallet and pull him from under the bed. A slight noise as he was shaken but he merely rolled over with a yawn and blinked at her blearly a few times with red eyes. "Is it time to get up?" Tiredly slurred together in rather cute fashion.

He hadn't gotten a good reverie but was up absurdly early as ever again. For the most part he was just watching Zahara lay there happily in her reverie. But his attention came over to his son at the sound of rustling and he got up and walked over to the crib just as tears started, picking up the baby. First motions went into soothing him. "Tears so early in the day? What's wrong buddy?"

His night had been horrible. One roll and that was it for him, pain had flared and he hadn't been able to really get comfortable too much...which yes had meant that he had unintentionally gotten his mother up during the middle of the night from the stress signals their bond to each other had set out loud and clear. Yup, he had certinally wanted his mommy like a three year old with a scraped knee. Malikhai didn't really remember too much how the night went though he did know that he had eventually drifted back off after some attending. Now, he startled with a snort at being poked and instantly hissed in pain, "Don't touch me..." Giving a groan and opening his eyes to look at his friend. "It's too early..." And he was hurting fiercely already.

She jolted awake once more in bed, her mind forcing her as opposed to her wanting to. Malikhai was apparently up and not a happy boy again. Though this is something she had expected. Had expected it last night and had expected it this morning." Getting herself up she pulled on her robe and walked over to Dhairiss, picking him up without waking him, she settled him in bed with Malik so that if he woke up, his father would be in close promixity and there would be no upset child on that end. That taken care of it, it was a trip to her son's room. Seemed Zykariel had gotten to him first, but a frown as she came to stand by the young Inthara. "Sweetheart, you look positively mangled..."

She giggled at him and pushed his hair out of his eyes and cocked her head. "Only if you want to. You can go back to sleep under the bed and I won't tell anyone, but it is morning and you wanted me to wake you before everyone else got up. So I did."

He sniffled and rested his head against his father's shoulder, latching to that braid in comfort fashion and then yawning. Bad reveries were never good, always made him fussy though tears stilted as he was indeed held and given attention. "Tummy..."

He frowned at his best friend's reaction, so it was just as bad if not worse than it looked. That was lovely, wasn't it? He glanced up as his aunt came in and gave a nod. "He does look awful, doesn't he? And he can't move without hissing which doesn't bode well for the day's activities. Know a miracle potion or something that will either numb every cell in his body or make the bruises disappear?"

Processing...and gasp and he sat up, almost bonking her head with his. "I gotta go!" Because he couldn't risk being caught, that would just be bad. He was almost caught last night. But in his frantic ways he wasn't good about getting up, first he was tangled in his blankets which meant that he fell soon as he got up and pretty much had to lay there on the floor a moment, trying to wriggle free from his tangled state. "Your dad may come in again."

He rubbed the child's back and ran a hand through his hair. Tummy? Well that was vague now wasn't it? At least the child had a high comprehension level. "Does it hurt or are you hungry?" Though his attention did turn slightly to the muffled sounds coming from the next room over. Girls must be up.

"Well...I don't know a miracle potion, but I do know what he should do if he's so adamant about jousting today. Help him get up and bring him to the bathroom...despite whining he may do." Thusly it was to the connected bathroom for her and turning on the water in the tub, running it to the appropriate temperatue. Stepping back out she looked to the boys. "We'll let him soak a little this morning, get the blood flowing will help him feel a tad better. And he needs to move as well, movement is good despite the pain."

He was not liking this diagnosis at all...mom was more prone to babying him last night but right now she was more or less prescribing tough love. But he knew there was logic in what she was saying, movement was always a good thing when you were hurt and well...here was the movement. And yes he wanted to joust today. A look up to his friend before a sigh, "Gonna be one of those days, isn't it?"

She pulled back as he went all frantic since she knew from experience that it wasn't fun to be bonking heads and what not that early in the morning. Watching him for a moment, she bent over and held out her hand to help him. "It's okay, calm down. Daddy won't come in until we call him or go see him. Trust me." His sentence revealed quite a bit to her including how she ended up on the bed when she'd gone to reverie on the floor and why Mykorian was on the floor.

"Not hurt. Grumbly." Rubbing at his eyes a moment, he blinked adn yawned then nuzzled his face into his father's shoulder before settling his fists on part of his father's tunic and the other on the ever present braid. Turning his head, he glanced at his mother for a moment then back to his father. He was a very observant child and made links quickly in his mind. "Daddy play Kelli after tummy?"

He nodded and moved to the bed, giving his friend a half smile. "Looks that way, man. Sorry. Come on." Thus leaning down and wrapping his arm around his friend's shoulders lightly, he helped him from the bed as best he could. "Now we're going to hobble to the bathroom. Take your time but no whining or I'll tell Kaelin. Alright?"
