Leina: "Really now?" Lyriana says. "Interesting..."
Apollo: {WIS 15: 15} You do this without issue. The fire is out.
Willow: {d20: 13} There's a little bit of blood near where the blade meets the handle, but that's it. {Chance roll: 11} You can see Lyriana out of the corner of your eye: she is looking at you pretty harshly. Quite a different vibe from when you danced with her, but even more negative than when you let go of her hand and walked away like she never existed.

I simply nod before looking at Willow, keeping on eye on her as I wait for Apollo to finish up with his spells so he can help me out.

"I can heal the rest naturally," I say, and search the area for something to occupy my time.

I sigh somewhat out of disappointment in myself and also in relief. I then walk back to Leina. "All right... lets see if I can make any sense out of these..." I say and then try reading the tomes she has.

Sand-Claw: You see that Xiao is teaching Irene about bows and arrows. Maybe you could show her your gigantic crossbow?
Apollo: {WIS 15: 12} These tomes are written in the Lupine Writing System, as are most of the world's magical tomes. One of them is water magic and contains entry-level spells, one is fire magic with top-tier spells, the third is light magic with intermediate spells, and the last one is blood magic with top-tier spells. This mage was obviously well-rounded, but not as much as he could've been.
Everyone: As a quick note: I was rolling unfairly previously. It used to be that your stat rolls had to be your stat or higher, but it has been brought to my attention just how unfair that is. From now on, rolling your stat or less is success, but rolling higher than your stat is a failure. That's why Apollo's roll just now succeeded even though it's less than 15. Many apologies.

After skimming the tomes quickly, I give them back to Leina. "Looks like they're just standard spell tomes of various types of magic. Nothing special, but I figure they should still have some monetary worth." I say to her.

I walk over to Xiao. "Hey there!" I say as I sneak up behind her and hug her across the chest.

I skip over to Irene, and see how she's doing with a bow. "I see you're learning how to use bows," I say cheerfully to her.

I smile politely and nod before taking the tomes back and placing them in my bag. "So you have no use for them?" I ask with a raised brow when I look back at Apollo.

Layla: "Whoa!" Xiao cries. "Well, then. Looks like SOMEONE'S frisky!"
Sand-Claw: "Yeah, Xiao was showing me how they work!" Irene replies.

"But of course! You're clearly getting frisky if you start having such thoughts when I hug you!" I say playfully. "Just looking to spend some time while everyone finishes up here."

"I have no use for them." I say back to Leina, a hint of arrogance in my voice. "I am quite well versed in the elemental arts already and blood magic never really was my pack of pudding... mmm... such a shame we're in an era before Snack Packs..."

Getting up from her seated postition, Willow makes her way over to the others again, "Could I have a look at those?" She asked, refering to the tomes, she seemed oddly quiet, her head still down.

I raise a brow with a bit of amusement as Apollo appears so arrogant. "I would beg to differ with how well you took care of that fire in the first place..." I mutter, but before I could put away the tomes, Willow walks up asking for them. I look to her skeptically and speak as such. "For what purpose?" I start to pull them back out of my bag, but I'm not convinced that I should show her...
