Kyol walked through the forest looking around at the trees. "I know I put it somewhere around here..." he muttered to himself. Perhaps stashing his weapons and less formal clothes in his cloak in a tree was not the best of ideas, but it had often worked in the past. He stopped, and frowned, trying to figure out which tree it had been.

Chuck saw a rather pale and disheveled character approaching him. With a warm smile he said, "Yes, I appear to be a stranger in a strange land. I don't suppose you could tell me where I am right now, could you?"

She was surprised that a stranger could be so friendly, and instantly warmed up to him herself. "This is the Clan of Black Amber, you're in the wilderness, a great forest that encompasses the entirety of our lands. you're welcome here."

The Chauffeur had never heard of the Clan of the Black Amber; it would be something he'd check into when he got back to Kami Kojima.

Charles bowed in gratitude, the blade of his scythe glinting in the light of the moon as he rose to a standing position. "I'm honored to be here; it's quite a beautiful forest, from what I've seen. Forgive my rudeness," he said, extending a hand. "My name's Charles, but back home they call me the Chauffeur. Oh, and don't mind the weapon, it's for keeping the bad guys at bay, not for mugging."

No one's worried about muggers around here, at least not with Reaper's Pet she thought to herself "The pleasure's all mine. My name is Pale, I am the leader of this clan." It was odd for travelers to be alone, even if they were in a realtively safe area "Do you need a place to stay?" Pale asked

"Well, Miss Pale, it's I who has the pleasure, meeting such an important person as yourself," Charles said with a smile. "And I am in need of a place to stay for the time being. If you know of a place that's taking in random strangers who show up in your territory in the middle of the night, then I'll gladly take it!"

"That's been our buisness for close to a year now!" she laughed "You've got two options. The Men's Lodgings take on anyone, but you have to fend for yourself in terms of space and cooking, etc. The Inn charges a fee but has roomservice, and I think the tavern has some rooms...but you'd have to live next to Morgan. That's the catch."

Charles rubbed his chin in thought. "Well, which would be closest to you?"

Oh man, did that sound flirtatious? That sounded flirtatious..

"In a completely practical sense!" he said quickly. "I figure that since I'm here for... a while by the looks of it... I could help your clan out in any way I can. I'm a good combatant, but, far above that, I'm a great mechanic and driver, hence the Chauffeur nickname."

Saitre reverted back to her original stance. She felt out of it, not having fought in so long, let-alone trained. Taking a deep breath, she cleared her mind of all thoughts. She began pacing, side-stepping in a circular motion. After a couple seconds she made her first move. She swung her right arm, her left following suite. The first was meant to be a punch while the second was meant to cause minimal damage with the dagger. As soon as her left arm had come all the way around, she dropped down, her leg coming out in a sweeping motion.

Placing her hands on the ground behind her, her index fingers no longer wrapped around the handles of the daggers, she pushed off the ground with her feet and did a back flip. As she came back up into a standing position, her finger once again wrapped themselves around the handles, and flipped the daggers in her hand. Taking a step forward, she stabbed at the air. A second step followed, and shifting her body weight onto her left leg as she turned, she thrust out her right leg in a high reverse kick.

As soon as her foot touched the ground she flipped forward. Her daggers once again flipped so the blade was facing her, she immediately dropped down and came back up with an uppercut. Just as quickly she turned her body and bending at the waist, let her leg come up and around until she was once again standing straight up. Using the momentum of her body, she threw a hook with her left arm, and not stopping the flow of the spin, jumped into the air and followed the punch with a flying roundhouse.

When she landed back on the ground, she dropped her hands to her side, pleased with the training she had been avoiding. Her breathing was a bit laboured, but only because she hadn't moved as she just had in quite a while. She placed her daggers back in their sheaths and after looking around, she headed out of the wilderness and to the women's lodgings.

Kurayami watched Pale and the man before slowly looking back up at the stars in silence, his golden eyes taking in the expansive amount. He sighed softly, letting the wilderness fill his nostrils. If this man named Chauffeur or Charles wanted to know who the man on the rock was, he could ask. Kura's mind was drifting more lately and he also didn't feel like interrupting them. He breathed evenly, wondering about events from the past. This Charles person seemed like a fine man, but like every other person, Kura wouldn't trust them. He would have to prove he deserved it first, Pale he didn't utterly trust yet, but he was close to it...and it somewhat made him wonder if he should even bother. The hybrid's eyes stared at the dark star-filled sky still, maybe in wait, maybe in boredom, who could tell.

Pale laughed and scratched her head "Well, I think the Men's Dorms are closest to Kiamce castle, which is where I'm staying right now. Eventually I'll be mving back into the women's dormsn which is even nearer. And I appreciae your concern, it'll mean alot next time there's a match."

Charles raised an eyebrow. "A match? So I take it the Black Amber Clan isn't necessarily what you would call a peaceful clan?"

The Chauffeur realized he and Pale weren't alone. Scanning the area he noticed a stranger on a nearby rock, appearing to be in a very nostalgic state, what with all the deep breathing his silouhette was noticably showing against the moonlight. "Another colorful character from your clan?" the Chauffeur said, motioning towards the rock.

Felicia walked amongst the wilderness. Exploring was over-rated, which was a thing that she had to learn the hard way.

I swear I've seen that rock before. She thought to herself, but paused as she saw something - or someone - on top of it. Curiosity took over, and the young woman made her way cautiously towards the rock. Peering over, she noticed that it was someone looking up at the stars, and quickly pulled back. She didn't want to disturb him.

That was when she heard other voices. Looking over, she saw two others. A male and female. Wow. That was quick. She'd found people already. She didn't say anything, though - she wasn't sure if she wanted to - and began to edge back slightly.

Kura could hear the both of them easily, and when the man mentioned Kura his eyes shifted just slightly. "Colorful only in knowledge and skill, but don't classify me Charles-dono...tis never appreciated." He slowly turned his head, and despite the darkness, his golden eyes seemed to glow through it all at the man. Kura didn't have anything against him, and no malice was in his eyes, he simply didn't appreciate being referred to in a general sense. He would slowly turn his head back to look at the sky in silence again, the moon revealing its' presence from behind the clouds. The light shined upon them all, lightening the areas that the Black Amber Clan owned.
