Thanks guys, really means alot... Its hard to be in the room, since his tank was on a shelf near my PC.. I was so use to looking to the left and watching him when on the PC.. But he was loved and I got alot of good memories with him. So on the brightside... this is the Chocolate Haunted House we had made.. we did what we could with the supplies they gave us.

A seven-year old boy was at the center of a Jefferson County courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulation requiring that family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible..
The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the St. Louis Rams Football Team, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

Good morning! Just got back from parent/teacher conferences for both kids. A couple things to work on but overall they're doing excellent! It's a relief to have that done - though I wasn't too worried about there being any problems. I think the biggest issue we're dealing with at the moment is that my son gets bullied. He's small for his age and pretty sensitive which unfortunately makes him a perfect target. Luckily he's got a few good friends.
@Lamb - I love the haunted house. I've always made gingerbread houses but never really occurred to me to make a spooky cookie house. wink
@Exxos - tragic/funny story about the boy. Is it really true? And I've seen that "why you are fat" site before. Pretty crazy things in there.

Is currently wondering if I should get pumpkins for the kids to carve...
last year I ended up cleaning and carving two pumpkins.. that ended up being "mush" by halloween.. Neither of my girls would help in the "cleaning" of the pumpkins.. "It's gross mommy" and they are both too little to do the carving just yet.. But my oldest seems to think if she does it every year maybe she's get used to the "gross" factor lol.. So I might give in and see if we can find any good pumpkins left.. But Noch will be gone with the car all day at class tomorrow which means I can't go shopping until Wed at the earliest.. and I fear the selection will be dismal by then...
@Lamb.. can't wait to see your pics.. Will definately post ours if we do them.. Everyone should post pics if they carve ones this year.. would love to see costumes too if you guys are comfortable showing them off! I'll be posting pics of Wonder Woman and another Tinkerbell incarnation lol.
