Likely you just have agoraphobia or another one of those common ones that is characterized by being out of your natural habitat.
I can't find the term for the other one I was thinking of... might actually be agoraphobia. More or less it's just the fear of being somewhere that you're not entirely safe. Some people fear open spaces, some people fear closed ones, some people are afraid of light or darkness. Basically just being uncomfortable in a place that doesn't feel like 'home'.

Well, it does not manafest as a fear though. It manfest's as a physical reaction. Also I really do have a problem with natural light and my eyes. I have had that since I was young.

Kichiro Oda So Light magic user pwns shadow user? It all depends on what system you run with. My light magic users create darkness by moving light, so I'd imagine running on a similar system 'shadow users' would actually be light users in disguise. Just like how cold users are just manipulating heat in reverse, decreasing it rather than increasing it. However, it's not really a valid thing to say since everyone has their own system that they run with and logic can only realistically apply to one at a time.

Summarize for me. mad Kuroiten Shadowmold: This ability is an advanced power of shadow. Shadowmold allows the user to alter the form of shadows as they will. Though this may seem ineffective, such shadows can be used as illusions, barriers, projectiles, or melee weapons. A being of shadow cannot target themselves with this spell. That's the only thing I have a problem with... How can someone use shadows to be any sort of barrier? I block with my bad light quality? I throw a shadow at a person, or hit them with it, how is it going to affect their skin.

Jonath Nell Also I really do have a problem with natural light and my eyes. I have had that since I was young.  AH! Natural light!
Get it off me! Get it off me! Anyways... is it anything BUT your eyes, or just that? Because your eyes adjust to a level of light, so obviously they're going to hurt a little and definitely give you headaches until you adjust to a higher level of light as a 'natural level'. May take a couple of days.
