Just as you are 'human,' he is a 'Child of Dolorous.'"

"That's enough!"
He never talked about himself to others much. He hated to tell about himself. He hated it even more when someone else shares anything pertaining to him to anyone.

I'm Selurnis," she gestured, returning the salutation. "Sir, could you tell me? -are you native to this place?"
There was so much about this place she wanted to know. Cora had told her a bit about it -this place called the Brink. But she knew there was something more to this place. There was something here that was making her flesh and blood.

He'd only twitched slightly. He didn't like introductions. He believed people will either know him or they won't -he didn't have to make any excuses himself, nor did he have to even try to get to know another.

"Is there, perchance, an owner to this place? I mean... it's a tavern. It has to have an owner, or someone in charge, right?"

"W-well. Shall I sing something else?" she asked, trying to lighten the mood. After a pause, she quickly added, "I'll try to sing something not so dark this time. sweatdrop "

Seeing Cora come in, she nodded her head in greeting, then proceeded to sing a rather upbeat tune this time:
~Tell me have you ever felt ~The rhythm of another's soul ~Its vibes pulsating heat
~It's blistering white; ~Swirling into fading
~Like winter breaths lit in the moonlight ~Spiralling into the night sky
~If you come with me, I can show you ~To things you never knew you had ~As I lead you into the rain ~Into the twilight of the setting sun
