I don't want to provoke anyone any further than its already gone.
But yes I was talking about since the new "take over", it's only been a few months since you started your training.
So from my view point, I see you as a student who hasn't had enough combat experience to use their moves effectively against opponents who have already received trained according to the story line.
I thought that some of the students had started over their characters to the point where the new "take over" happened. And that's why they're called "students".
To my understanding at least.

Then maybe we should have a time forward later on so the students are more grown up and capable of actually fighting higher ranked enemies? To progress the storyline.

Ok, at this point I'm not sure if I'm reading anything the right way.
So simply I edited one of the posts so everything makes sense in the RP one way or another.
I'll give this some time since maybe I really am getting too hot headed, but at the moment I'm thinking that some things have changed. They aren't making me want to stay around. The simple end fact being that I'm someone who wants to enjoy an RP.
I don't want to be told I have to participate in story missions where it frustrates me by showing that I have no purpose being there because not some, but all NPC's who appear are trained to the point where my character might as well join the free for all since it is no more risky.
The whole experience thing isn't a valid point, how long did it take anyone to get to Kage level who's been here, ask that first before you preach about experience.
Look, the simple fact is if every fight is just me dodging and being dodged for post after post then I'm out just on the grounds that I'm already bored of that kind of s**t. That part isn't spur of the moment temper as should be obvious by how annoying my character's been lately

The whole point of recreating GNA with the new take over was to start over and to make sure that no one felt left out like before. I know what you mean by the constant dodging and not being able to land a hit. We're going to have to keep talking about this and figure out something; because what's going on here seems to not be working towards the original purpose.

Btw Lina. I have a very judging opinion of this guild's rping system. I just come here to pass the time. I've made a guild where you don't have to worry about gray areas and such. If you're interested.

ok not just jumping in the arguement for the hell of it here, but there has been many times ive fought with some one and they dodged the hell outa everything i did, and hell i was a Sensei for over two freaking years. At this point i think people need to settle down and stop acting like their character is a God... Im not specifying this to a specific person, in fact there have been times when newer people have done it. Im just saying, not everyone can have god like speed, or this one attack thats going to cripple you.
and btw wtf??? Ive worked on my character far too long for me to wanna restart it... unless i read that wrong...
As far as time line goes i think its kinda bull to say a person that is under training is weaker even though they have been here for years and have posted. In fact, Ishira, my character has been a Sensei of Hikari, and just started training with some one else, that doesnt mean shes weak or anything, so people need to drop the whole youve only been training for a few months yadda yadda. Ishira has only been training for a few months in a different element, but shes been here for YEARS training under the Hikari. In fact the next person to sit here and say that i cant do this and i cant do that is going to get a mouth full. In true fact ive been here in the GNA since late 2005 early 2006. i dont have 1000+ posts for nothing. Yes i did leave the guild once, but only for like six months because i had no internet when i moved. I dont think that should make anyone less of a member or should effect their characters status. By that i mean that if some one joins, they shouldnt have the right to talk badly about another person or say they are stronger, when they have only been here for a few months themselves. I think it should be determined by their sensei on how far they have gone, not another person, this is supose to be a school of sorts right? Ive been here for years, and was active. No one can say otherwise, since many of the older people here have rped with me, in fact some of the main people here where at Tutsumis and Ishiras wedding... which was btw two years ago. SO please, people need to grow up and start rping properly. Whats the point of working on all of this if we arent even going to get that back?
Im tired of people saying they are stronger then each other, hell both Ishira and Neko are fighting right now and Neko is a hell of a lot stronger then Ishira and yet she has still been able to hit him. I cant say that people who have been here less then i have, posted less then i have, and been as 'trained' as i have, have ever had my character hit them, cause geuss what? They made their character god like. No more God Like, that isnt right at all to the people who have been actually working their asses off here.
If you dont let some one hit you then dont b***h when they dont let you hit them, in fact dont sit here and dodge 24 f-ing 7. Thats not how you properly rp, and its only going to cause problems.

Anyway I'm just. Not gonna get into this. In my opinion this whole rp system is flawed. The idea that posters in a duel decide who gets hurt is for the most part a myth. The GNA universe is also haywire, however Kaimen has put in place guidelines that deter this.
When it gets down to it, in all these fights the only way to win is to give your opponent 0 ways to escape or survive. Lina, if you had gone along with the storyline you would have allowed yourself to be captured. I don't believe you would want this though. You see the schism here.

Bao Steel H4X Lina dispelled all her barriers and attempted a shushin. A moment later she appeared upside down, floating for a split second upside down about thirty feet away from where the creature was before hitting her head on landing.

She climbed to her feet and started moving back quicker. Bao Steel After five seconds of the continuous beep, a compression of purple gas exploded outwards from both of the large creatures. It's radius quickly spread over 100 feet. Anyone who didn't close their mouth and nose in that split second would be knocked out in half a minute. The poison would take over their body to cease their motor functions first. H4X Lina stood outside the gas's radius. She pulled her shirt up from under her armor till it covered her mouth and nose. She soon walked back into the cloud, keeping her eyes closed but sending out pulses of Rai for a form of echo location. How did you cover 70 feet in an explosion that was in a second? Lina can dodge with her Rai skates, a move shes used before. As far as the argument of dodging goes, while Lina has been here for more than 2 years time doesn't expertly explain her Character in RP. Being in the Element of Rai, due to lack of Sensei, how much training has she had and manipulated? WHEN I WAS BEING TRAINED IN THE GNA IT TOOK A WHILE BEFORE I BECAME KAGE LEVEL. I s**t YOU NOT. AND I STILL CONTINUED TO DEVELOP TECHNIQUES. Lina, when creating the dojo I asked what level people wanted to be placed on, and knowing that I destroyed the Hikari dojo, I also gave certain people different levels of skill in other areas. As far as dodging and hitting goes you all should be following the guidelines and clearly explaining how you move and interact with your opponent. The simplest way to avoid this is to be AS DESCRIPTIVE AS POSSIBLE.The Character "Lina" has progressed very little in her Rai element, and thus still remains at Chuunin Level. Watching Daizings training, while she may have improved a bit more who can say she's above that? And give his lack of RP time as it is, it's understandably difficult for her to advance. However, she, with her longevity here at the GNA is still a formidable opponent in hand to hand combat, and can clearly explain her own speed and power in her techniques. So even if she can't zap them to death, her ability to transform into, whatever, will work fine. For example, she could have used that clawed arm and swipe the air with a lighting sickle type of attack that could have severed the tanks tail. Daizings taught her how to make Lighting armor, it's not impossible for her to hit someone, it's merely a matter of both RPer's understanding their role in the RP, and fighting fairly so that there is not ABUNDANCE of dodging with little to no detail. Essentially, the more descriptive you are the better, that goes for everyone here. So Lina, I would urge you to edit your post, mentioning the use of Rai skates and letting the RP continue, as far as you becoming "stronger" goes, all you need to do is get better in Rai, correct? I can talk to Daizing about being more active. For now, everyone should RP to their best efforts and make sure to explain yourself, METICULOUSLY if you need to, so that this kind of thing can be avoided, and follow the Guide lines built for fighting posted here.
