I came across this and I laughed so hard I choked.
I have a feeling it's probably old, but on the odd chance some of you haven't seen it: If WWII was waged by gamers
Wow. That was amusing.

Though kinda sad that WWII had been reduced to that.

eh.

I know what you mean. I actually did a thirty-page long paper on the political philosophy behind why the Allies won about a year ago. It was a huge project, but immensely interesting. Strangely enough, Hitler actually had some amazing ideas for troop transportation and military tactics. If not for his singular hatred of Jews, all the statistics point to him winning the war. The Holocaust wasn't just morally wrong. It was logically wrong too. Back then the Jews were not only some of the richest citizens of Europe, but also the most meticulous taxpayers. Hitler was basically committing economic suicide.

And as far as Pearl Harbor was concerned, Tojo just wanted to cripple the only Ally close enough the Pacific to offer resistance in a timely manner for long enough to conquer the far east because he thought the war would end soon. He was no idiot; he knew America would eventually retaliate, he simply underestimated both how long the war would take and how devastating Truman's secret weapon would be.

But you know what they say: When the rich wage war it's the poor who die.

Yes. Quite simply Hitler let his hatred for the Jews overshadow his common sense and logic. :/

Part of me thought that was funny, yet part of me died a little knowing that a good size of the gaming population is like that and it makes me sad.

On a different note I started a new character in OB, one last outing in the game before Skyrim hits store shelves. I've attempted it many a time but grew bored, but I'm going to try to get this new character all the way to 100 in every skill and attributes.

Marbles: 2/14 Edit: woot! 2nd marble.

Sweet. Is it sad I haven't actually finished the game yet? I started several over the past couple years and for various reasons I won't go into lost them. Then like a year or so ago I started again and took my time and beat the expansion with dementia/mania and am still taking my time to go through the game. I think i'm only like a third through the main quest. I've done like all the city quests and a bunch of misc and all the way through the arena, fighter's guild, mage's guild and thieves guild. The arena i did like two weeks ago and it only took like forty five min to do it all since my character is so leveled up. I basically turn invisible and crouch and do a sneak attack while also summoning something to distract the poor sucker. Then repeat. Very easy. I had at one point over 100% chameleon armor and stuff but it made the game boring so I ditched that. Invisibility works wonder for me. I often sneak in and out without having to take on attackers unless required.

Anyways my goal is to finish the main quest before skyrim comes out. ^ ^

EDIT- oh i mentioned that because yeah my character is around 100 for each main attribute. The minor ones however...thats a different story. XD

O.o how long have you had the game? Na I'm just messing with you. I used to go though a phase where I was creating new characters all the time, before I had even gotten partly though the game with the last. The Shivering Isle is by far my most favorite DLC/expansion pack to date. To me it brought back the other world feeling that I got from Morrowind since Cyrodiil IMO looks too much like an English country side, than a fantasy nation. I normally have one set of 100% chameleon armor/clothing, mainly used when I wish to explore the wilds to find the locations of all the caves/ruins/etc. without have a rat or a wolf attack me from no where while I'm on my horse. I've gotten many of my characters to 100 level attributes across them all, but never all the skills to 100.

Simple and incredibly quick way to win every Arena fight:
1. Get to 100+ Int and Will, 80+ Destruction, and a glass shield.
2. Create a custom spell with the following specs:
Shock Damage 100 per second for 6 seconds.
Weakness to shock 100% for 6 seconds.
(Mine was a touch spell, since the mana cost is significantly smaller. I can get lazy about running around regenerating magicka.)
3. One-shot-kill almost EVERYTHING, considering you'll be doing about 1000+ damage. If they take more than three seconds to die just pull up the shield and wait. For anything immune to shock, create a fire spell with identical specs but fire damage/weakness to fire.

Lol. Yes I run through the wilderness under the cloak of my invisibility spells.. XD

Brax- I agree we need a few new quests up for the newer people who have yet to partake in a quest.

Would anyone be interested in "A venerable Vintage" located in the quests subforum? I created it a while back and then due to lack of interest didn't pursue it but its ready to go. ???

Anyone interested?

Those everscamps are great for helping one level combat related skills. Kill one and POOF its back in like 5 seconds. Although that hissing sound they make gets quite annoying after awhile.

Sure I'll give "Vintage" a shot, sign me up.

I'll post tomorrow in... well, everywhere. Right now, I need rest. I have a lot of stuff to do tomorrow for school next semester, and I think I will be changing majors soon.

No longer will I be Chef Joker (although that DOES sound badass). I Shall be Joker- Veterinarian Extraordinaire!
