@Exxos - They're not trying to trigger a seizure at this point, they'll probably do that during the EEG since technically I have to do two. They want me to do one while sleep deprived and then another while asleep. I was expecting the head brace- I looked that up last night. I guess I'm just more worried about what the magnetism is going to feel like or if I can sit still that long. I also read somewhere that there's mirrors in the machines that allow you to see outside of them...? But they they're really REALLY creepy?

@Daypaw - I had to have a super long MRI when they thought I had a seizure disorder, way back at the begining of things. They may or may not sedate you to help you stay still long enough. If they do it's not too bad because you're loopy, if not it still wasn't terrible. I almost fell asleep. I couldn't really feel the magnetism. The mirror wasn't that bad either.
Also, the EEG's I really liked actually, but I'm pretty weird. They put this web over your head attached to the scalp. I did a stimulus and non-stimulus. Both are pretty tame, nothing to really be upset about.

Yeah, some do have mirrors, they are odd when they do – especially if they are not adjusted. You get this funhouse mirror thing with people walking on the ceiling then suddenly sideways.
As for what the magnetism feels like. Usually nothing. There is just not enough material in the body to be moved by the forces for you to feel it, the MRI pretty much just shifts the poles of your bits to all go in one direction. If they really crank the thing up, it sometimes feels like when your hair gets all static-charged after rubbing it with a balloon – but over all of your body. But they really have to crank it to do that.

I'm looking forward to the EEG- the geek in me thinks that one will be fun to do xD
I'll probably just ask for something to lay over my eyes so I don't have to deal with the mirror.

bonita_lady66 ok got my speedies on lol Just keep your eyes open because occasionally around here we all get into our speedies at the same time for fun. And if we're lucky there's even a speedie fairy that comes around and drops gifts on people who are wearing them. It's all very mysterious. dramallama

Hi guys! I'm back from the party. It was fun but now I'm feeling tired but because of all the energy drinks I drank I'm not sure if I can get any sleep yet. It's 1:30 am in here so hopefully I'll doze off soon.
Oh and I can see we have new members around. Welcome Bonita! I'm usually around here when every one else is at sleep 'cause I live on the other side of the planet than most of AGA but I try to pop by here every now and then. whee

It's easy to get left behind in this forum. I've stopped trying to keep up; I usually just pop in and read the most recent page and pick up from there after scanning the other pages to make sure I'm not missing anything directed at m'self.
You should try the game forum :3 Lots of fun threads there, even if they're not particularly swift moving.
